"Britt!!" Bobby says as he races past. "Robby!!" He trips as he reaches the door of the dining hall, and trips again as he tries to stand. "Somebody save me!"

Jaelyn catches him and sticks a foot on his chest. "Victory is mine!"

"Are those two dating?" I lean over and whisper to Robby.

He chuckles. "No, but you think it too, eh?"

I grin and we both laugh. Making the two that are the subject of our conversation jerk there heads up.

"What's going on?" They say in unison.

"I'm sure you could guess, if you tried. But I shall not repeat it!" I say and disappear inside the dining hall. "Robby come show me around." I call over my shoulder.

"Thanks for the save back there." Robby says smiling.

He shows me around, and we grab a bite to eat. School doesn't actually start for several more days but it's good to get used to my surroundings. And food is surroundings, too. Right?

Robby is looking at me closely. I cover my face, self consciously. "What? Do I have something on my face?"

"No, Britt." He shakes his head. "I was just wondering... well there's going to be this concert/carnival thing tomorrow. It's like to welcome the new students. I wondered if you wanted to go with me. I mean... go with me to help me keep an eye out on Bobby and Jaelyn. Those two could cause a lot of damage at something like that." He rambles and his face has this cute blush.

"Sure, I would love to go." I smile.

Jaelyn and Bobby rush in. "I need to teach you the University Hymn." She says rather breathlessly from her dash cross campus. So for the next thirty minutes the four of us sing, "Jesus is Christ." And finally I have it down path.

As we finish up, and Jaelyn and I, are walked back to the dorm by the boys. They tell me about the concert/carnival thing. It sounds like it will be a blast. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Not every thing I'm going to write about the college may be accurate, because this is a fictional story and I've never been to the campus. So... yeah...
