Backing Cabir, Dhruv points out “well I do agree with Cabir’s museum wala interepretation of our family!!!...agar dekha jaye toh iss waqt…ek hi chaat ke niche…kayi saare professionals ekathee baithe hai!!!”

Siding with Dhruv, Mukti asserted “true that….dad steel ka business sambhalte hai…Jai uncle lawyer hai…mom NGO chalati hai toh Sia aunty dentist hai!!!!”

Cabir made his presence felt by saying “doctors ki kami nehi hai humare khandan mein….Abhi dil ka doctor hai…Nandu bhabhi gynaechologist hai…toh Malar humari pagalon ki doctor hai…(getting his head smacked by Manik, Cabir coorected)…I mean psychiatrist hai!!!”

Navya also joined the conversation “Mukti, Aliya aur main toh pichle paanch saalon se boutique sambhal rahe hai”

Thinking about it Nandini stated “Cabir aur Dhruv toh Malhotr’s ka business samabhalte hai..Manik ka music company hai..aur Yash toh khud hi music composer hai…baaki bacche Ajey aur Tanmay …..toh woh dono all rounder hai!!!!”

Hence Manik concluded the discussion “well…..so many talented people under one roof…it rarely happens I guess!!!”

Through out the chat, Malar seemed distracted and was constantly checking her mobile, which did not go unnoticed by Ajey.

All of them were getting to know each other and were having a gala time when one of the servants informed “Malar beti aapke liye koi courier aya hai!!!”

Excusing herself from there, Malar left the garden in haste.

As Malar reached the main door of the house, she found a courier boy waiting to deliver her parcel. Handing her an envolpe, the courier boy requested her to sign.

Once done with the formalities, the courier boy left.

Coming inside the living room, Malar impatiently tears the envolpe and takes out the letter.

Going through the letter, Malar let herself sank on the sofa with a sigh.

Fiddling with her mobile, Malar made a call to her personal assistant Maria.

As soon as Maria received the call, Malar uttered “received it”

From the other end of the phone, Maria only managed to blurt out “oh my god”

Hanging up the call, Malar closed her eyes and tried to seize the moment.

At that moment, the youngsters decided to get back inside, as the time for lunch was getting closer.

On entering the living room, Nandini was the first one to find Malar sitting with her eyes closed. She immediately took Malar to be sick.

Advancing towards Malar, Nandini patted her cheeks and querried “kya hua baccha???...tabiyaat theek nehin laag rahi hai kya???”

Opening her eyes slowly, Malar with a blank look handed the letter to Nandini.

Taking it from her hands, Nandini read through the letter swiftly.

And the next minute, Nandini screamed out of joy “what!!!!...are you kidding me!!!...this is huge!!!!...I am soooooo proud of you”

Listening to Nandini scream like a maniac, everyone gathered around them.

Manik impatielntly urged “kya hua????...tum itne zor se chilayi kyon?????”

Unable to conatin her excitement, Nandini broke the news “you won’t believe Manik!!!...humari Malar…she got appointed as the youngest Elected Chief for the Society of Psychiatrist in the history!!!...aur next week hi Delhi mein unnka live Summit hai…joh poori duniya dekhegi!!!!!...”

Digesting all the facts, Manik bellowed “wow….that’s…..huge…I guess…mom dad ko baata naa chahiye!!!”

Unanimously agreeing on it, all of them moved towards Raj’s study.

With sweaty palms, Malar pushed the door of the study room a bit and politely requested “may I come in?????”

Raj encouraged “arrey princess tumhe permission lene ki koi zarurat nehi hai…bass andar aa jao!!”

As Malar entered, everybody followed her inside the room.

Feeling a bit hesitant, Malar moved towards her father.

For ages, Malar had always communicated any sort of news with her family over the phon. Suddenly she figured out that informing them over the phone was easier compared to standing in front of them and giving the news in person.This made Malar feel hell pukish.

It was the first time Malar got an opportunity to share such important news of her life with her family. She was highly sceptical as to how her parents would react.

Shuttinh out all her thoughts, Malar sat on the floor near her father’s leg and placed her head on his lap.

Everyone was taken aback by Malar’s gesture, but did not want to interrupt the father- daughter duo.

Caressing Malar’s head, Raj joked “arrey yeh kya…tum toh akele akele neeche baith gayi !!!!...not fair princess!!!!!...”

Malar raised her head and gave a quizzical look at her father.

Flashing his teeths, Raj took his place beside Malar on the floor and remarked “ab theek hai!!!...papa aur princess dono ekathee baithenge zameen pein!!!”

On listening to this, Malar giggled a bit.

Pouting at them, Nyonika complained “tum dono baap-beti toh mujhe bhul hi gaye!!!!...main bhi zameen pein baithungi tum logo ke saath!!!”

Teasing Nyonika, Raj mentioned “arrey nehi Nyo…aise stunt bilkul bhi try maat karna!!!...iss umar mein kaahi haddiyan toot gayi toh lene ke dene paddh janege !!!!”

That was it, all of them burst out laughing.

Scowling at Raj, Nyonika went and gave them company on the floor.

Still mad at Raj for teasing her, Nyonika scolded “buddhe hoge tum!!!.,..abhi toh main jawaan hu”

And on this another round of laughter broke out.

Coming back to the point, Raj demanded “accha hansi mazaak toh bahut hua!!!...ab princess..sacch sacch baata naa ki majra kya hai???”

Mustering up courage, Malar passed her parents the letter.

Holding her breath, Malar calmly waited for their response eagerly.

No sooner Raj finished reading the letter, he took Malar in a side hug and proclaimed “mujhe toh yakin hi nehin ho raha ki humari chhoti si princess inti badi ho gayi hai!!!....I am so proud of you baccha!!!....tumne dekha Nyo itna bada good news”

Finally breaking the moment, Sia querried “arrey koi humein bhi toh baatao ki good news kya hai???”

Wipping her tears, Nyonika answered “darasal Socitey of Psychiatrists se Malar ko iss baar Elected Chief appoint kiya hai…aur iss news ko woh log agle hafte hone wale Summit mein official karenge!!!!”

Sia happily responded “arrey waah beta….yeh toh bahut badi khush khabri hai!!!...waise yeh Summit ho kaha pein raha hai???”

Nandini stepped in to acknowledged “iss saal Delhi mein yeh Summit rakha gaya hai aunty!!!”

Hearing this, Nyonika declared “kaan khol ke sunn lo sab ke sab…aapne aapne office mein leave application daal lo…agar chhutti nehi milegi toh job chhod doo..par hum sab humari Malar ke saath Delhi jaa rahe hai next week…and that’s final!!!”

Manik calmly voiced “mom Malar ko kal raat hi Delhi ke liye nikalna parega.. as she has to complete some formalities!!!...aur jaha taak hum sab ki baat hai…toh hum log yaha aapna aapna kaam sambhal ke…usske Summit ke ek din pehele pohach jaenge!!!..tab taak we can arrange a hotel for her…kyon theek hai naa???”

Objecting to this Sia spoke “nehin..yeh bilkul theek nehin hai???”

A perplexed Nyonika inquired “kya hogaya ???”

Sia grumpily told “teri beti kya meri kuch nehi laagti Nyo???”

Nyonika chuckled “haan bikul laati hai…tu bhi naa yeh kaisi baatein kar rahi hai!!!”

Sia expressed “toh phir Delhi mein humara ghar hote hue…woh hotle mein kyon rahegi!!!!”

Nyonika said questioned “tum logo ka Delhi mein bhi ghar hai???”

Sia affirmed “arrey haan yaar …humara Delhi mein dusra ghar hai!!!...darsal main tujhe baata naa bhul gayi thi ki kal subha ki flight se hum Delhi jaa rahe hai ek hafte ke liye…woh Ajey ka waha pein koi live show hai!!!”

Nyonika was just able to mouth “accha”

Sia declared “haan ji..toh bass yeh tai ho gaya ki Malar humare saath rahegi!!!”

On this amazing news, the trio couldn’t help themselves from giving each other a smile.
