Getting back to Malhotra Manor, Ajey opened the the door of the car without making any noise, as he didn’t wanted to disturb ‘Masi-ki-jaan’ in her beauty sleep.

Then with utmost care Ajey picked up a sleepy Maahi in his arms and slowly started walking inside the house.While holding the box of the cake, Malar followed Ajey’s lead.

Entering the house, they found everyone present in the living room itself.

On seeing a sleepy Maahi, Mukti commented “dekha Nandu main keh rahi thi naa…. ki Maahi jiss din duphar ko rest nehin karti hai…usse uss din sham ko jaldi hi neeind aa jaati hai!!!...ab dekho madam theek soo gayi!!!”

Taking Maahi from Ajey’s arms, Mukti mouthed him a thank you and left from there to put her sleepy daughter to bed.

Handing the box of cake to one of the servants, Malar also excused herself from there to get freshened up.

Obediently walking up to Yash and Tanmay, Ajey dutifully sat between them.

Giving a disappointed look, Tanmay commented “tu aapni love story set karne ke bajaye..baby sitter baan ke wapas aa gaya!!!!”

Pouting like a baby, Ajey said “yaar dekho iss mein meri koi galti nehi hai…bhai….Masi driver bulane ko bolti hai…toh masi ki jaan godi mein uthane ko bolti hai!!!...”

Sighing helplessly, Yash and Tanmay said in unison “saddddddd life bro!!!!!!!!!”

Few minutes later

All the arrangments were made in the backyard for the barbecue night.

On one side the women (Nandini, Navya, Mukti and Aliya) were busy in grilling the meat like pro. While on the other side, the men divide themselves in two groups.

The first group which consisted of Manik, Abhimanyu, Dhruv and Tanmay were engrossed in making accomodations for seating. While the second group which had Ajey, Yash and Cabir voulenteered to set up the music.

Malar made an entry in the backyard, fiddling with a cholcolate bar in her hand.

As Malar approached the ladies, Mukti requested “accha hua tu aa gayi…please jaake kitchen se woh extra dishes leke aa naa!!!”

Mouthing an ‘OK’ Malar left from there but not before placing her chocolate bar on the side table.

Within few seconds Malar returned after collecting dishes.

Placing the dishes on the table, Malar searched for her chocolate bar, which was missing from its previous position.

Turning around Malar was about to ask weather someone had seen her chocolate or not, when she her eyes fell on Cabir taking the last bite of her chocolate bar.

With hurt clearly written all over Malar’s face, she patiently asked “aap ne mera chocolate khaa liya bhai????”

Suddenly leaving all their works, everyone seemed soley focused on Malar and Cabir.

Glaring at Cabir, Manik warned “agar chhoti ke aankhon se ek bhi asuoon nikla naa Cabir…toh tu aaj bahut pitega!!!!”

Gulping down his saliva, Cabir apologised “I am so sorry yaar…mujhe sacchi mein nehi pataa tha yaar ki woh tumhara chocolate hai!!!...infact maine toh chocolate ko lene se pehele teen baar poucha bhi tha ki iss chocolate bar ka owner kaun hai!!!!... I swear yaar!!!!”

Out of nowhere, Navya appeared with a basket full of cholcolates.

Scowling at Cabir, Navy stated “Malar yeh Cabir ka personal chocolate collection hai….you can take anything you like from here!!!”

All set to cry, Cabir accused “how could you do this to me Navya???...I am your only husband…the apple of your eye!!!...how can you be so mean to me????”

Rolling her eyes Navya scolded “oh hello…main tumhari kidney nehi beech rahi hu yaar!!!....so just stop being such a drama queen!!!...aur waise bhi you deserve every bit of this punishment!!!....”

Turning towards Malar, Navya urged her “arrey Malar ignore his cry baby face and just take any chocolate you like…”

On Navya’s insistence, Malar took one of the chocolate bars and literally ran away from there, in order to avoid Cabir’s ‘I-am-exetremely-heartbroken-wala-face’.

While others were busy in chatting, Malar quietly sat at the edge of the pool.

Dipping her feet in the cold water, Malar was happily munching on her chocolate, when Ajey approached her “do you mind if I sit here????”

Staring at Ajey for a brief moment Malar patted the empty space beside her, gesturing him to sit.

Taking Malar’s cue Ajey sat beside her but not before folding his jeans.

The cold water touching Ajey’s feet had a healing power to it, which immediately relaxed his mind and body.

Stealing glances at Malar, Ajey mumbled a "thank you"

Halting her eating spree, Malar enquired “kis liye???”

Scratching his neck out of nervousness, Ajey answered “woh…tumne ghar pein kisi ko nehin baataya… that I had visisted you in the hospital the other day!!!!”

Nodding her head in understanding, Malar calmly mentiond “hmmm…according to the policies of the hospital…we are not allowed to disclose who our patients are….”

Deciphering the new piece of information, Ajey just waved his head. While Malar was back to eating her chocolate.

Observing the way Malar was devouring her chocolate with utmost gratification Ajey couldn’t stop himself from asking her “you like chocolates a lot naa????”

Stopping herself from enjoying the chocolate with loads of difficulties, Malar replied “like….naaa….chocolates are love!!!!!”

Digesting his jealousy, Ajey permitted himself to get absorbed in Malar’s child like innocence.
