As Fred walked out, I stood up quite abruptly. I fell back and was caught by feminine arms. At least no more boy drama. I thought as I was lifted up.  I turned to see a girl.

She had shoulder length brown hair and piercing eyes hidden behind frames. She was slightly taller than I was. "Careful. Madame Pomfrey doesn't need anymore patients." The girl patted my shoulder. "Thanks for catching me. I'm super clumsy. I'm Christine Penrose." I smiled and stretched my hand out confidently.

She reached forward and shook my hand. "I'm Marium Moran. Most call me Mary for short." Her smile was bright and handshake firm. "Pleausre to meet you. Are you a 4th year?" I question as we sat. "No I'm a 5th year Slytherin. You?" Mary plopped a grape in here mouth giving me a sense of deja vu.

"I'm a 4th year Gryffindor. So you're not a rotten good for nothing Slytherin that hates Gryffindors?" I catiously asked. She shook her head. "I don't hate all Gryffindors. I'm not too keen on the Weasleys or Wood. I'm the keeper for Slytherin quidditch team, ya see. Wood's not a bad guy, just a great player." She explained. I nodded and wondered how that would be in the future.

"Nice. I transfered here last year. I was actually thinking about trying out for quidditch." I informed Mary of my plans. She nodded and encouraged me to try out. "Well, we should get ready for classes. I'll see you around. Bye!" I got up and bid Mary aidue.

I remembered my breakfast plates. I turned to get them but saw they were gone. House elves. I nodded at my thought.

I walked to the Common Room endulged in thoughts. You kissed Fred Weasley! He kissed you back! And what did you do? RUN AWAY! I mentally scolded myself on the walk. But it doesn't end there, now does it? Then you let OLIVER WOOD KISS YOU!! IDIOT CHILD! I face palmed myself as I reached the Common Room.

"Password." The Fat Lady commanded lazily. Shoot. I never learned the password. I panicked and smiled sheepishly at the Fat Lady. She rolled her eyes and went back to her singing. I was about to sit when the portrait swung open. I walked forward and bumped into Fred.

I stuttered to make an excuse to get by. "Christine." He sneered my name and walked past. Maybe this whole laying low thing will work out. I watched Fred stomp away furiously. I walked into the room looking at the floor.

In a heap on the floor was Oliver. No one was in the Common Room, having all gone to breakfast by now. I rushed to Oliver and knelt by him. He was in an armadillo position clutching his face. I rolled him over to face me as I called his name. "Oliver! wOliver it's me, it's Christine. Oliver?" I softly spoke to him.

I'd had experience with this kind of stuff so I didn't panic. I slowly peeled his hands away and saw a broken nose, black eye and blood all over. I was overwhelmed. Blood. I-I don't like blood. I deeply inhaled to try and calm down. I caught a huge whiff of blood and something else.

I felt myself get woozy and sway. Something jabbed my neck and I ran to a mirror. I met a pair of glowing yellow eyes. Then, blackness hit.

I heard voices and my head hurt. "I hope she's ok. Chrisi, I believe in you. You can wake up." I heard Leah's worried voice and soft hands on my arm. I slowly lifted my eyes. I looked around and saw several faces. Leah, Clare, Mary, Fred, George, Jack, and Teresa were all standing around me. I looked around and saw that I was in the Hospital Wing.

I tried to speak but Madame Pomfrey appeared. "Hush, darling. Don't speak. Drink this first." She handed me a deep crimson drink. It smelled like butterbear and chocolate. I chugged the thick, warm liquid. It tasted like peppermint and chocolate. 

"Now you can speak deary." Madame Pomfrey took my empty cup and smiled. "Wh-What happened?" I slurred. I coughed and awaited my answer. Fred paled and looked at another bed.

I looked at Leah. "How long was I out?" I sat up and looked her over. "Y-You were out for the school year." Leah grabbed my hand and I gasped.

How could I have been out for the school year! Well, that was fast.

"WHAT???!?!?!?!???" I screamed. "Chrisi, calm down. Let us explain." Leah looked to everyone who nodded with concern. I nodded and listen to them explain the Chamber of Secrets and Tom Riddle and the Basilisk.

I went wide eyed and felt myself faint.

CLIFFHANGER! Ya I know, confused. I just got bored with writing this chapter and left you confused. :)

Filler chapter. Apologies.

And so ends her 4th school year. What happens now??? To be honest, no idea. I didn't even know what this chapter would be about.
