Chloe POV

Monday came around pretty fast after that, and the days just kept passing by. That Friday when I met him was weird, and meeting my boss was even weirder. He was the sexiest man I've ever met and yet at the same time the scariest.

He was intimidating and had rules one of them was to not bother him during meetings and if his office or conference doors were closed to under no circumstances open it even if it was an emergency. He made that part loud a clear and he didn't seem too excited about me working here, it's almost as if he's trying his best to make me quit. He has been giving me so much work this past month and he was being such an ass to me.

"Chloe!" I heard and turn in my seat to look at the girl -Wesley or Wes for short- that had shown me around the first day I came here after Mr. Cole told me the rules. We became good friends here at work during this month.

"Oh hey Wes what's up?" I asked.

"I have been calling you for the last minute or so." She said shaking her hand.

"Sorry I guess I kinda spaced out." I said with a small guilty smile.

"Well what I came to tell you is to be ready. Two special people are coming today and the boss ordered for all of us to be in our best behavior today and for absolutely no circumstances walk even close to his office door." She said and I looked at her strange.

"Why?" I asked now my full attention on her.

"Well for one she is coming today along with this companies number one associate which is just as good looking as our boss if not more." She said having a dreamy face at the image of the man.

"Someone as or hotter than the boss? Is that even possible?" I asked in disbelief. There was no way someone like that existed.

"Oh yes! But he's even more intimidating and has this dark and mysterious aura to him that just makes him hotter." She said almost drooling.

"Ok..? What about this girl you said was also coming?" I asked her and her face changed a little.

"No one except for the boss and Mr. Coner know her name. She's scarier than the both of them together when she's mad.. but all we workers know is that she's beautiful. Almost every guy in this company has fallen in love with her beauty. But we also know that she is the only person that gets the boss to smile and be kind." She said and my eyes widen.

"What does that mean?" I asked her and she just laughs a bit.

"Well in other words she is the only girl other than his mother that can tell him what to do. Somehow he's even more affectionate with this girl than with his own mother. We've always thought they were a couple and always keep to themselves. Who knows that may be true." She said and looked at the time.

"Wanna go get lunch? It's almost time for the conference so we have some free time while the conference is going to go eat." She said and I nodded getting up and walking out the door with her.

"Shit." I heard her mumble while she just stopped in her tracks.

"What wrong?" I asked confused as I look at her and then where she was looking for my eyes to widen and oddly enough it wasn't because of the very hot intimidating black haired man with black eyes walking our way but the girl beside him talking to his with no care in the world. That's before her eyes landed on me.

"What's wrong?" I hear the voice of the very fit and intimidating man when the girl stops staring back at me.

"Chloe?" She asked walking to me before she looked at the man.

"What are you doing here?" She asked her voice worried.

"I have been working here for the past month. What are you doing here?" I asked her now curious. Was she the girl Wesley was talking about?

"I'm-"

"I was waiting for you two. You're late now let's go." We hear from behind me and me and Wesley turn around.

"B-boss!" Said Wesley.

"Will you explain to me what is she doing here?" I hear Livia ask and she didn't seem happy.

"Who?" Mr. Cole asked her clueless as to what she was talking about.

"Chloe. Why is Chloe doing working here?" She said now calmer but her voice still seemed unrecognizable to me.

"You know her? Well we can talk about this in my office. Now come with me you two." Said Mr. Cole as I turn around to see Livia fuming before glaring at me and closing her eyes for a second.

"We better go. It was nice to meet you Chloe." Said the man besides Livia as he took her hand and dragged her to the bosses office.

"You know her?!" Asked Wesley freaking out.

"I-I do... but I've never seen her like this." I said kinda scared at her glare. Why would she be here? Why would she be so mad? Why was she such a big deal here? How could the nice and sweet girl I know give such a glare and have such reputation here?

"Really? I would've guess she would always have an attitude." Wesley said as I shook my head.

"All the contrary actually. She's nice and sweet and beautiful. I hear her sing in the shower and no matter how stressed out I feel her voice would always calm me down. I can't see her as a scary person." I said and Wesley nodded slowly.

"That's interesting then." She said as we started to walk to lunch again.

"Because to be involved with both the boss and Mr. Conor she has to be kinda scary. And to all of us in this office she can't be more scary and beautiful at the same time." Wesley said as I got lost in thought yet again.
