Kiti Pov~

I was walking to school with Kei, a normal day I guess. We arrive at school early head our separate ways, and head to class. First class went by, but I couldn't help the feeling that people were talking about me, staring at me.

I ignored the feeling at first, but when I was heading to mine and Kei's spot, someone, presumably a first year, walked up to me. He was a bit shorter than me, and glared at me "What?" I said "Move," He replied. I put my hand on my chin and pretended to be thinking. "I'm good,"

He glared at me and growled "Just because your taller than people doesn't mean your the boss" I shrugged my shoulders "Never said I was" Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder and a darkening feeling I turned my head causally.

Just behind me was an angry Kei with a red and black aura "Oh hey Kei" I turned back to look at the now frightened guy in front of me, I stared at him with piercing yellow eyes that could kill. He walked away muttering and I turned and chopped Kei in the head.

"Ow~ What was that for" He whined. I rolled my eyes and we sat on our bench. We chatted and joked. Soon lunch break was over, and I headed back to class. Apparently, gossip travels quickly, because everyone stayed two meters away from me.

Time Skip- Practice

I waited for Kei at our spot and as he arrived, we exchanged hi's and hey's and walked into the gym. I sit down in my usual spot and as Kiyoko walks in I wave her over and we chat about whatever comes to mind- volleyball, school, grades.

(Sorry if this upcoming part is kinda confusing, I forgot how it goes in the anime, so I'm just going off of memory)

Then Takeda walks in, I met him at yesterdays practice. He has a beaming face. The boys notice and say hey. "I have some great news everybody!" He says still smiling "I got us a practice match with Nekoma in a few days!" There was a lot of cheering as well as questions.

Time Skip- Two days later

I walked into the gym with Kei down and talked with Kiyoko as usual. We had become really good friends. Suddenly the door slams open and reveals Takeda and some other man. "Everyone! I have some great news! I got you a coach for the Nekoma match!"

This surprised me as the man introduced himself as Keishin Ukai. Everone started talking, and Kiyoko explained that they once had a great coach named Ukai who coached here when they were a powerhouse school.

He observed the practice and decided he would stick around, only until the Nekoma match though. I looked at him, I bet he's going to stay longer. I was walking out with Kei when the new coach stopped me "Are you and that tall blonde siblings?" I smile "Yep! Were twins!" he nodded.

Another Time Skip... Sorry, I'm lazy- One day later

Practice was going on as usual, but about ten minutes later, a group of adults walk in. Ukai says they're called the neighborhood association. I stand up and get a but closer, they seem about Ukai's age, but there's only five.

The one in the front starts talking "Our setter couldn't make it so were one short" I'll do it offered Sugawara. There was a little debate with Kageyama, but in the end, the teams got settled. Ukai walked over to me "Do you play volleyball" I nodded "I did play when I was younger".

I glared at Kei, about I should've glared at the rest of the team too "Wait, you played when you were younger! What about that other day!" I tensed and glared at the one who spoke, Tanaka. Ukai looked at me confused "Don't worry about it," I said waving my hand back and forth.

He then asked me a question which surprised me and everyone else "Do you want to play?" I tensed, inside I did, but didn't want to show it. I stared at Kei and he started back, smirking. If he wins I play, if I win, I don't.

I blinked "Dammit. Sure I'll play" I sighed. Kei snickered and smirked. I glared at him, and if eyes could kill, he'd be dead. I slipped on a jersey, I was on the opposite team of Kei, 'Perfect' I thought 'I get to show him up'.

The game went on and I got subbed in. I wasn't nervous at all, I was used to these kinds of situations. The game went on, and I got a couple of good receives. Soon it was my turn to serve, I had watched the one guy do a jump float serve, so that's what I did.

It landed just barely in. Service ace. Everyone was stunned "What" I said "Is there something on my face" I remembered a video I watched the other day. 'Huh" thought 'This will be fun'. I adjusted the ball. I looked up a stared at Kei smirking. He knew where I was aiming.

I tossed the ball up high, I was spinning forward, perfect. I jumped and hit the ball on the top back side of it going in a downward and outward motion. And before the boys knew it, the ball was on the other side. Another service ace. Kei smirked, an irk mark appeared on his head.

Everyone just stood there, in silence, looking at me. I looked at Kei and smirked, it's his fault anyways. "W-what kind of serve was that!" Shouted Kageyama. I smirked "A topspin duh" Ukai just looked at me with wide eyes, shocked like everyone else.

I sighed "Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I don't know how to play" I served again, this time a jump serve, it was received by Daichi. Every now and then, I would do some crazy spike. Eventually, I was standing infront of Kei on the opposite side of the net.

The ball volleyed a bit,  Kageyama set Kei up for a spike. I remembered a video I watched for a special block. I watched his eyes, and moved my hand over slightly. The ball bounced off of my hand and fell back on Kei's side.

I smirked and the game continued, soon after a couple of my spikes they started to triple block me. I smirked and remembered something. I signaled to Sugawara that I wanted the set. He tossed it up, and I jumped to meet it and the triple block. Just before I was about to spike it I moved my wrist and the ball went straight across their faces. I looked into Kei's eyes as I landed. "Was that cut shot even possible!" "That's the craziest cut shot I've ever seen!"

Kei glared at me. The game went on, and my team one. Ukai came up to me, "Thought you said you played when you were younger?" I nodded "I did" Then where did you learn that topspin?" I sighed.

"Well, when I was in America, I went to one training camp in the beginning, I learned alot of stuff, I watched alot of people. But that was the first time I ever did one." Everyone looked at me surprised, except Kei who smirked. Ukai thought for a moment, then his face lit up "You figured it out didn't you?"

He whispered something in my ear "Yep"  I said with a smile. He looked shocked. " What is it! Tell us" The team chimed in. I sighed and looked at Kei and he looked back. I f he wins, I don't tell them, if I win I get to tell them.

He blinked and cursed. I smiled "Have you guys ever heard of photo graphic memory?" A few of them nodded, the rest were confused. "Well let me explain. Photographic memory is when someone can see something or someone, and remember them forever. That's what I have. lets say I met one of you when you were younger. Now, when I meet you the other day, I would already know exactly who you are."

"But what does that have to do with you?" Asked Kageyama, I smirked "Well, the other day, I watched a video on how to do a topspin. I watched it once, and it was set in my brain. That's how I learned for most of my life"

People started to talk to each other about how that was 'so cool' and other things. Coach Ukai looked at me with a thinking face. He seemed to have had made up his mind. Soon everyone left and he approached me.

"Um, hey. I was thinking about it, and what would think about joining the team?" He asked. I was utterly surprised. I looked over at Kei who had his head phones on, though I could see the tiniest of smiles on his face.

I smiled "That sounds really great, anyways I might have some intel on Nekoma" He nodded and understood what I meant. "Great, I'll tell the team tomorrow. Oh, and can you look up some stuff on Nekoma?" I gave him a thumbs up and grabbed Kei and left.

On the walk home I asked Kei "You planned that didn't you" I smirked, he shrugged smirking too "Maybe, maybe not" It may not look like it on the outside, but Kei is a really good brother. Even though he plays tricks.

We quickly made our way home and ate dinner. I told mom and dad the news about being on the team, and they were over joyed. I cleaned the dishes and got took a shower, I put on my cat onesie and went to bed.
