10 years had passed since that day. In that time span a lot of things occurred. At age 14 (Y/N) had gotten into a car accident, luckily she had survived but she had no memory of anything past the age of 8, everything else passed that was forgotten. She did try her best to get those memories back but nothing worked.

Today was her 20th birthday, after getting spam calls from her mom she finally was able to have a moment to herself.

~Your P.O.V~
I sighed as I gazed out the window. Yes I was happy to have a place of my own and make a living for myself but the thing is....I DON'T WANNA GROW UP! It sucks!

I pressed my head against the window, letting the coolness of the glass press against my warm cheek. I finally finished college so now I had to be on my own. Some would be surprised how at such a young age but I skipped 3 grades. Not at the same time though. I skipped one year of elementary school, one year of middle school, and one year of high school. I don't know how I managed to do it but I did. The good thing is my birthday is near the end of the year (if its not then...just use your imagination) so it seemed I was a part of the class, since no one knew the year I was born they simply thought I was a year younger because of my birthday.

I look around my room, contemplating whether I should finish unpacking or wait. In the end I chose to get it over with so I began unpacking my belongings.

I let myself fall face first onto my bed. After a couple of hours I finally finished unpacking. I snuggled my face into my soft blanket, I was tired. I was about to fall asleep when I heard my phone start ringing. I groaned and sat up. I reach over and grab my phone, not bothering to check the caller ID since I expected it to be my mom.

"Mom I told you to stop calling me every second!" I said.

"(Y/N)! That's no way to speak to your mother! Apologize!" I heard my best friend (B/N) say in a mocking tone.

I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "Sorry (B/N) I was expecting it to be my mom." I apologized.

"No worries! I understand." (B/N) said.

"So mind telling me the reason for this call?" I asked.

"Oh I was just gonna ask you if you wanted to come hiking and camping with me and some of my other friends this weekend." (B/N) replied.

"Oh...well I don't have anything planned this coming weekend so sure I'll join." I said.

"Great! You know where the mountain path is right? We'll be meeting there on Friday at around 3:00ish, sound good?" (B/N) asked.

I hummed. "Yeah sounds good. How long will we be there?" I asked.

"Well since we'll be camping we'll be there for a few days, I think 5 days tops, so bring clothes since we're going to obviously be staying there over night." (B/N) said.

"Well...I have nothing to do next week so a few days in the mountains sounds like fun." I said

"Yep! There's a waterfall too! We can go swimming so bring a swim suit."

"Alright see you in a few days."

"Okie! Bye!"

With that I ended the call. I smiled, at least I still had my childhood friend (B/N) even when I could barely remember (her/him) (she/he) still stayed by my side and helped me try to remember. I placed my phone down on the bedside table and laid down on my bed. I had a couple of days to get everything I needed ready, so I didn't have to worry about packing just yet. I took a deep breath before closing my eyes, letting my body relax, and get the rest it's been needing for the past week.
