The members were at the end of their world tour. They were currently in Japan, which was their last stop before heading back home. The tour had been great so far and they could see that they had gained more and more fans over the course of the last few months. While in Japan they wanted to spend time not just performing but also exploring around the area and sightseeing. The group decided to go out and walk around the city for a few hours, grab some food, go shopping, whatever they felt like doing.

Taehyung and Jungkook, being the adventurous maknae's that they were, decided to venture off from the group to go explore on their own for a bit. They snuck off from the group when the rest weren't paying attention and found themselves at a park.

"Look at the pretty trees hyung!" Jungkook motioned to the trees that were in full bloom all around them as they walked along a boardwalk path.

"Wooooooooahh! We should move here!" Taehyung chuckled.

"Into the park?" Jungkook asked confused. Taehyung started laughing. He meant move to Japan. He grabbed Jungkook's shoulder and squeezed it, "Wherever you want to go, Kook-ah."

Not even 10 minutes later Taehyung and Jungkook both had a text from Jimin asking where they were. They said they were walking around a park and would meet up with them all later.

"Don't be too long," Jimin had replied. They both sent back the thumbs up emoji.

While walking along the path, another man walking by grabbed their attention. To the boys surprise, the man spoke Korean.

"There's a cool pond if you go back the other way, I can show you two," the man said. Taehyung and Jungkook both got excited and said sure. As they were walking along the path the man grabbed both of them by one arm and started leading them forward. They both felt uncomfortable considering they could clearly walk without the assistance. Jungkook looked to Taehyung with a slightly nervous glance. Taehyung tried to break free of the mans grip, "Let go of us. We can walk."

The man wasn't letting either of them go. They both started to get fidgety and kept trying to break free from the mans grip but it only kept getting stronger. They both looked around and realized nobody else was even in the park, so yelling for help would be useless. Taehyung decided to stick his foot out in front of the man as he was dragging them, and it sent all three of them falling to the ground. Unfortunately for the two youngest, both of their phones shattered and broke on the ground at the impact of the fall.

"Ah! You asshole!" The man screamed. He tried grabbing Taehyung again but before he could Taehyung was already on his feet and grabbing Jungkook dragging him away. The man got up and started chasing them.

"What the hell is he doing?!" Jungkook cried to Taehyung as they ran.

"I don't know but just keep running!" Taehyung yelled back. Both of them were filled with fear. They could feel their hearts pounding out of their chests. They had no idea who this guy was or what the hell he wanted. They needed to make it back to their hyungs, or their hotel, or just somewhere with people. While they were running two other men suddenly came running at them out of nowhere and grabbed each of them.

"No!" Taehyung screamed as he was snatched and lifted into the air, "Get off of me!"

Jungkook was kicking and screaming trying to get out of the other mans grip, "Let us go!" he cried. Tears were pouring down his cheeks. They now had all three men grabbing and carrying them to a blacked out SUV. They tried fighting tooth and nail but couldn't escape the men. They were quickly thrown into the trunk of the SUV and the men used ropes to tie their wrists to the bottom of the seats so they couldn't escape.

The SUV immediately started driving and the two were screaming. Jungkook started kicking the back of the seat, "Let us out you bastard!" He turned to Taehyung in a panic. "Hyung what do we do?!" the maknae cried.

Taehyung said with the most serious face, "Escape."

Taehyung was scared but he would do anything it took to get them out of this situation. He didn't know what these men wanted from them but there was no way in hell he was going to let Jungkook get hurt. He'd do whatever it took to get them free.

"How?!" Jungkook cried. They'd already tried escaping once and that did them no good. He didn't understand how the two of them were supposed to escape three giant men. Taehyung could see how badly Jungkook was panicking and it sent him into super protective mode. "We just will, okay?!" he cried reassuringly.

The SUV pulled into an isolated location in the middle of the woods up to an old cabin house. The three men got out and grabbed the two and untied them, yanking them out of the car. Naturally the both of them started kicking and fighting again to try and get free but they still weren't strong enough. They were dragged inside and locked into a bedroom.

The two looked around the room, all that was there was a plain mattress on the floor, wooden walls, and a window.

"Hyung I want to go home! I want to go home!" Jungkook cried. Taehyung was trying to suppress his own fear, he didn't need Jungkook being more nervous than he already was. Right now he was the hyung and he was determined to be a brave and protective one.

"We will," Taehyung said reassuringly. He walked over to Jungkook and pulled him into a tight hug, "We will."

Jungkook started sobbing into Taehyung's chest, "I don't understand. What do they want from us? What if they kill us?!"

"You think I'd let them hurt you?" Taehyung said with a hint of offense in his voice. Did Jungkook really have no faith in him as a hyung?

"I just don't want them to hurt you either. I don't want either of us to get hurt," Jungkook pouted into Taehyung's chest. They began to overhear the three men talking outside the door and heard them discussing how they planned to "sell those two bangtan boys."

"No! Hyung no!" Jungkook cried to Taehyung, "I don't want to..I don't want them..."

"Hey," Taehyung cupped Jungkook's soaking face in his hands, "I'm going to get us out of this, okay? I promise. Nobody is getting sold. I will do whatever it takes, but I'm going to get us out of this." Taehyung pulled Jungkook back into a hug and held the younger as he continued to sob. Taehyung scanned the room for a moment before he realized what he could do. He let go of Jungkook and walked over to the window, unfortunately it seemed to be permanently locked from all sides. He started hitting it to see how thick the glass was.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked nervously.

Taehyung stared at the window for a moment then turned back towards Jungkook, "Do you trust me?"

"Of course I do."

"Then get ready to run."

Taehyung backed up against the wall on the other side of the room.

"Hyung what are you...Taehyung!"

Jungkook screamed as he saw Taehyung sprint towards the window and smash his entire body into it. The entire window shattered and Taehyung fell onto the ground outside the room. Thankfully it wasn't a far drop. Taehyung immediately stood up and wiped glass off himself, ignoring some of the bleeding cuts on his arms and face. He reached in the window, "Let's go! Now!" Taehyung demanded. Jungkook ran and Taehyung helped him out the window just as the three men barged into the room.

"Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" one man screamed.

"Run!" Taehyung yelled as he grabbed Jungkook's arm and the two started sprinting at full speed throughout the woods. They kept running while being chased again and Taehyung spotted a small area under the edge of some rocks where they could hide. He dragged Jungkook in that direction and then immediately shoved his maknae underneath it first. The two sat there gasping for air as they were completely exhausted.

Now that they were done running for a moment, Jungkook finally had a chance to speak. "Are you crazy?! A glass window?! You're full of blood hyung! You could've killed yourself!" he cried.

"I'm fine. I had to get us out somehow!" Taehyung whispered sternly. Jungkook went to say something but Taehyung heard footsteps so he immediately shoved Jungkook to lay on the ground under the rock ledge and he lay on top of him and clamped his hand over Jungkook's mouth to keep him quiet, "Dont. Move."

They both listened carefully as they heard the three cursing up a storm for losing them. The three men started cursing at and blaming eachother for "not keeping a better watch" and "not tying them back up."

Taehyung felt his hand starting to get wet as he realized Jungkook had started crying and the tears were spilling onto his hand. He felt terrible. He knew Jungkook was terrified but now was not a good time to cry, Jungkook was a loud crier. Taehyung wrapped his other arm around him to hug him and got close enough to whisper in his ear, "It's okay. I've got you. Yeah? I promise you I won't let them hurt you." He kissed the side of Jungkooks cheek and finally took his hand off his maknae's mouth but gestured for him to stay silent. It felt like forever, but finally the footsteps disappeared.

Taehyung turned to Jungkook, "We have to keep running."

Jungkook stared at him, "You're bleeding," Jungkook pouted. He took his shirt sleeve and wiped some of the blood off Taehyung's face and arm. "I don't want you protecting me if it means you'll get hurt. I have to protect you too."

"It's just a little blood maknae, I promise it doesn't even hurt that badly. Are you ready to run?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook nodded and wiped the tears from his eyes. Taehyung stood up but Jungkook grabbed his shirt and pulled him back down.

"What? What's wrong?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook hesitated before more tears slipped from his eyes, "I'm scared."

Taehyung pulled him back into a hug, "I know you're scared." He held Jungkook back and then gently cupped his maknae's chin in his hand, "But we're going to make it. I'm going to get us out of here even if it's the last thing I do. But Kookie, we have to run. So are you ready?"

Jungkook nodded as he wiped his tears. Taehyung counted to three and they made a run for it. Their hearts were beating fast and they were sweating. They honestly didn't even know where they were even headed, but as long as it was far away from those men. They knew they were going in the general direction of the way the car had came so both had some hope.

"There they are!" One man yelled. Taehyung and Jungkook turned their heads and Jungkook ended up tripping over a rock and falling. Taehyung was a little further ahead and ran back to help get him back up on his feet before dragging him with him.

"Go go go go!" Taehyung screamed at Jungkook. Before they knew it the three men were on their tails again but Taehyung was able to lead him and Jungkook out of sight. He saw another log cabin and told Jungkook to run for it, they'd hide in there. The two ran in and ducked behind a counter. Panting. They both felt like they were running a marathon and the adrenaline from the sheer terror was really adding to it. They stayed behind the counter when they heard the men enter.

One of them started whistling and moving furniture, "We know you're in here," he chuckled. Jungkook grabbed onto Taehyung and the older never felt his maknae hold on for dear life like this. Taehyung looked around trying to think of something quickly when he realized there was an empty cabinet with it's door open. He knew they could fit. He gestured to it and while the other men were facing the other way. The two crawled into the cabinet and quietly shut the door. Taehyung was holding Jungkook in a back hug and rubbing his chest to try and get him to calm down, he was crying and starting to panic again.

"Shh," Taehyung whispered, "You're okay." Jungkook gripped Taehyung's arm and squeezed it. He was so thankful for Taehyung. As much as he hated that Taehyung was also in danger, he didn't know what he would have done without him there by his side. Taehyung was the only safety he had right now. He wondered about the other members. Jimin told them not to take long and it was getting late. He was sure they must know by now they were missing? Especially because any calls or texts they would try to send wouldn't be able to go through. He felt Taehyungs heartbeat against his back and it calmed him down, even though his hyungs heart was beating fast too. Jungkook wondered how Taehyung could be so brave even when he was scared. Taehyung truly was his hero.

When they heard the three men go to the back part of the cabin, Taehyung told Jungkook that they needed to make a run for it again. Jungkook's heart sank. He was so exhausted already he didn't know if he could really continue to outrun the three who were after them.

"Taehyungie?" Jungkook whispered, "Maybe we should just wait for them to leave?" He was somewhat desperate. His legs were already so shaky. What if he fell again and they caught him this time?

"We have to get out of here," Taehyung said sternly.

"I'm tired, hyung," Jungkook complained. Taehyung gripped his arm around him tighter as a manner of reassurance, "I know Kook-ah. But the sooner we get out of here and the hell away from them the faster we get back to hyungs."

Jungkook sighed, the thought of getting back to the rest of his hyungs sooner rather than later did sound pleasing.

"Okay," Jungkook replied. The two carefully made their way out of the cabinet and stood up. They listened for a moment to make sure the three men weren't close and they made a run for the door. Taehyung gestured for Jungkook to run out first and just as he did one of the men came running at Taehyung and grabbed him.

"No! Taehyung!" Jungkook screamed.

"Go! Jungkook just keep running!" Taehyung screamed at his maknae while trying to fight the man off of him.

"I'm not leaving you!" Jungkook cried as he started making his way back towards his hyung to save him. There was no way he was going to leave his hyung behind, whether he was told to or not.

"I'll be right behind you just run! Get out of here!!" Taehyung screamed and turned to face the man holding him, "You bastard! Get the fuck off me!"

Before Jungkook got to him Taehyung managed to kick the man right in the sweet spot and the man double over in pain. Taehyung escaped free and started running with Jungkook again. They ran like their lives depended on it, because their lives did depend on it.

The men were nowhere in sight and suddenly Jungkook dropped to the ground. Taehyung ran to him. "What are you doing? We have to keep going!"

"I..I..can't...Tae.." Jungkook was laying there hyperventilating. He felt like his body was going to explode. He had always been a stronger runner than Taehyung so he had no idea what was going on but he was completely exhausted. He felt like if he ran one more step he was going to pass out, he didn't know it was possible to be this tired. Taehyung grabbed his arm and tried pulling him up, "What do you mean you can't? You have to! We have to keep going! I'm sure we are close to town at this point Jungkookie please!"

"Go on without me," Jungkook panted. Taehyung kept trying to tug him to his feet, "I'm not going anywhere without you. You didn't leave me back there and now I'm not going to leave you here."

Jungkook closed his eyes as he continued to try and steady his breathing. Taehyung grabbed both of his maknae's arms and lifted him to his feet. "I will carry you if I have to."

Jungkook sighed, he knew there was no way his hyung could do that but he also realized Taehyung had a point. Taehyung wasn't going to just leave him there, just like he hadn't left Taehyung, which means if he didn't get a move on it, they were still both in danger. He realized he could pass out later. The idea of protecting Taehyung gave him the strength to keep going and they continued to run. They finally found themselves at the woodline of a park and saw people.

"We made it! Oh my God Jungkookie we made it!" Taehyung screamed. The two continued running and found a phone booth and the first thing they did was call the police. When Taehyung told them who he was, the officer informed him that there was actually a missing report out already for him and Jungkook.

"Yes I have Jungkookie! He's here! He's here!" Taehyung yelled into the phone. They were told to stay at the booth and within minutes police and the rest of the members were with them. The members embraced them in a tight hug, "What the hell happened?! Where have you been?! Are you trying to give us all a heart attack?! We've been looking for you guys for hours!" Hobi yelled at them.

"Are you okay?! You're all bloody!" Jimin cried to Taehyung. The two youngest started frantically explaining to the members what happened and the police had a search party out looking for the three men. Apparently it wasn't the police's first encounter with the three either.

The members continued to hug for a long time and Namjoon had called for an ambulance because of all the blood on Taehyung. Taehyung insisted he was okay, but once a paramedic came and checked him over they found some small pieces of glass in his arm they had to take out.

"Oh. I didn't even feel that," Taehyung pouted. His adrenaline must have numbed that pain for the time being.

"You might later," Yoongi informed.

Jungkook was being given water and sitting on a stretcher after being given an oxygen mask. He didn't need to go to the hospital but he was exhausted and extremely out of breath. After Taehyung was all bandaged up he made his way over and sat next to Jungkook on the stretcher, wrapping him in a hug. The other members joined.

"Thank you," Jungkook whispered to his hyung.

"For what?" Taehyung asked.

"What do you mean for what?! Hyung you kept me safe the whole time. Thank you," Jungkook pouted. Jungkook started boasting to his members about how brave Taehyung was the entire time and how he did everything to keep him safe. The members started praising Taehyung too. A loud ruckus from the woods started and the members saw that the police had captured and were arresting the three men. As they were being escorted to the cop car Jin hugged the two maknae's and shoved their faces into his chest so they didn't have to see the men again. Once they were gone the members continued to ask if they were sure they were okay.

"I called the police and said you were both missing after we realized your phones weren't working. We knew you two wouldn't just disappear. We knew something was wrong," Yoongi informed the two. They both thanked them but Jungkook suddenly started chuckling.

"What's so funny huh?" Jimin asked while smiling.

Jungkook couldn't stop smiling, "I didn't need the police.

All I needed was Taehyungie."
