The first photo is of a lovely little duo of helpful, kind, friendly fashionistas who clearly love, and support, their owners need for distraction and pleasure.
They are the first responders to our hearts and they only have a desire to love and be loved.
They carry within their little, sweet selves no hidden-agendas or past grudges.

The second photo is Sarah Rose in an oft-repeated moment of extreme, and scornful, disappointment in my behavior.

I attempted to alleviate some boredom, and improve our communication, via a short and futile run at teaching her to sit on command.

Afterward

.... after my ridiculous theory that SHE should fake obedience to receive treats that have been (and will continue to be) given her just for be'n a bag-of-chips-and-all-that ANYWAY!.....

she looked me square in the eye, sat primly on the arm of the couch, and reminded me that she knows I know she knows how to open the fridge door and help herself to her own chicken dogs.
