-Bosses P.O.V-

I entered my office, I saw that the file containing the details of the new night guard had been taken out and stuffed back somewhere. I knew at once that Mike had something to do with this, I had to see him. I'd only been to see him once when his sanity regained itself, he'd tried to kill me but I'd escaped and I'd had to get night guards to make sure he didn't get out.

I walked over to the hidden room, the pizzaria was closed for the day so I could talk/see him, I gently pushed over the door and my eyes widened. Mike was sitting on the couch in the middle of the room and the new night guard was sleeping on his chest, covered in bandages and band-aids. Mike was actually smiling as he rubbed his hand over the girls back, the girl was smiling as well. She shifted and yawned, she stretched, opened her eyes and looked straight at me. Mike turned and started to growl, he got up and tucked the girl underneath him glaring in my direction. Eyes filled with anger an protection. I backed up and left the room in a hurry, I ran to my office and picked up the phone. I paused.

If I called the authorities, I'd get sued for all the deaths, plus Mike wouldn't let the girl put of his sight and wouldn't go down without a fight. That much I could tell.

-Mike's P.O.V-

I growled at the boss and he left in a hurry, Shard sneezed and snuggled into me a bit more. I blushed and cuddled her a bit more, she yawned and told me she had to go home. I asked if I could come with her, she looked taken aback but agreed, she told me to put the shades on. She held out the shades and I put them on, she took me outside the pizzeria and walked with me to her home. It was a nice white colour with blue doors and window frames. When we got in she gave me the guest bedroom and set about making a list of clothing that I would apparently need, she noted down my size after I gave her my shirt.

She went out for a bit and came back with some clothes pus some toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste, I washed myself in her bathroom no use the shower. In no time I got into the pyjamas she got me, we both say down and she showed me the movies she liked to watch, we ended up watching a Pokemon movie called Hoopa and the clash of ages. She got the toffee popcorn and we watched it with occasional breaks to get snack and toilet breaks. When the movie ended we both went to our separate rooms, I fell asleep when I dragged the covers over me, I hit upon the realisation...

I loved Shard and she loved me.
