-Shard's P.O.V-

I didn't want to go back there after what happened yesterday, but I had to to keep food on the table, groaning I prepared myself and walked into the office at about 11:30 pm only to find a blue lily sitting on the desk. I picked up the note as the clock chimed midnight, I flipped it open and it said:

Behind you~

I heard footsteps and had no time to throw on the mask as I was pinned to the wall, I let out a surprised screech and started batting at the one holding me in place. Mike ignored the hits and said "Can you cut that out? I'm not going to hurt you." his voice was deep and snarky, I gulped and shut my mouth. He breathed out and sat down on the chair, placing me in his lap, I felt my hands begin to sweat. That always happens when I get embarrassed or scared. He hummed and nuzzled his face into my hair, breathing in my scent by the looks of thing. I finally summoned up the courage to say something, "Why'd you kill those guards? Why not kill me?" He paused in the middle of twirling a strand of my multi brown hair between his fingers, "I'm not proud of it, the first few weeks were done out of lingering insanity. The next months were battling with my insanity, it faded after a year but I couldn't stop myself from killing for fun. When I saw your face for the first time, a million thoughts raced through my head. I couldn't help but try to get you on your own so I could have you all to myself, I may have been a little rough yesterday and I'm sorry about that."

He resumed playing with my hair after that, letting the words sink in, I sat there in confusion and pondered what he had said. The realisation came to me within the hour, 'he liked me', but if he did he would've said so yesterday. I was snapped out my daze as a deep rumble came from the corridor, I shined the light down and saw Foxy in the corridor. He screeched and lunged for me but Mike got there first, he hooked his hands around Foxy's jaw and broke it, he gently got off the seat and kicked the fox robot down the corridor. "Hurt her again and I'll break more than your jaw!" He roared, his eyes emitted smoke as he said this making him seem more dangerous, I gulped and hid under the desk tears leaking out my eyes. Mike poked his head in my field of vision, "Shhh it's okay, he's gone..." He said, wrapping his arms around my midsection and pulling me back in his lap, one hand on the small of my back the other on the back of my head as I sobbed into his sholdur.

After a minute he asked, "Why are your tears silver?" I hiccuped and told him about my childhood; about how I was smarter than average; about my strange abilities; about Shadow and Lament; about my mother passing away leaving me with a father who I hardly ever saw and about my trust/social issues. He listened without interruption.

When I was done it was five, no other furrys came to the office probably because of the way Mike had beaten Foxy, Mike gently tilted my chin up and connected his lips with mine. 'Aw crap!' I thought as he pulled me closer, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling, he licked my lip and I accepted. His tounge was long and snake like but without the fork, he explored my mouth without having to fight for dominance. He pulled away as the clock chimed six, leaving a strand of saliva connecting us, he licked it up and bit my neck causing me to yelp with pain and shock. He pulled away and walked off before I could slap him, I winced and examined the mark in the bathroom, it was red and had teeth marks imbedded into the skin, a clear sign that I was now his.

Grossed out I covered the mark and cycled home in order to prepare for school tomorrow.
