It took you forever to fall asleep since your mind was constantly racing around Riki, you had to smile like crazy.

You held onto the necklace and couldn't get the kiss on your forehead out of your head. So, your stupid thought of him only seeing you as a very good friend luckily vanished from your mind. He wasn't just a friend and you also weren't just a friend to him either, you were so sure about it.

The next morning you wanted to talk to him, first thing first.

So you knocked on his door but as no response was coming back, you quietly opened the door, looking inside and seeing a sleeping Riki, making you smile but also quickly close the door again.

You bit your lip. Was today the day you finally confessed??

It was raining outside, like really heavily, you could hear it everywhere in the house.

"Which way was to the dining room again?", you asked yourself, standing at the staircase upstairs and tried to remember.

You just went downstairs and made your way. You saw the blue vase you remembered, so that's when you knew the way. So, quickly you went to the dining room which was connected to the kitchen, so you went inside and opened the fridge.

A sudden noise made you look to your right but as you didn't see anything, you just looked back into the fridge, took out a yogurt, closed the door but right then Jay was standing there. You twitched and let out a sigh: "Jay! I almost dropped it!"

He just chuckled: "Sorry~"

"Soo, how was the night with Belle?~"

He started smiling: "Wonderfully awesome~"

You slightly laughed: "Aw, that good, huh?~"

"Yeah~ We just cuddled and kissed for so long. I can't believe I ever let distance come in the way of us..."

"Everything happens for a reason, okay? Back then you didn't know whether you'd ever come back to the states again but here you are. Don't think about the past, think about the future you'll have together, okay?"

He heavily nodded and smiled again: "You're right! Thank you, y/n!" Jay hugged you and quickly left the kitchen again.

You got yourself a spoon and started eating the yogurt in the kitchen, being in your own thoughts.

While eating, you started to walk around the house, it was so beautiful. Several pictures were hung up, most photos of either Jay, them as a family or of different landscapes. You smiled as you saw these baby photos of Jay and were in awe.

You continued to walk and ended up in a huge room, high ceilings and a wall completely out of glass, making you have a great view to outside and even though it was raining so much, it was still beautiful. So, you just stood there, looked outside and ate the yogurt. After you were done, you sat on the couch which was standing right at the window. You watched the rain drops make their way down the window and lost yourself in your thoughts again.

Someone plopping onto the couch right next to you, made you jump as you weren't hearing anyone coming. "Yah, almost gave me a heart attack!", you exclaimed but then saw Belle. "Oh uh-"

"I'm so sorry about that, I didn't mean to scare you.", she slightly laughed, making your shake your head: "It's fine, I was just in my thoughts, so I didn't hear you."

"Thinking about Riki? You two aren't a thing, right?"

You nodded: "Yeah, not- no, we're not but I was thinking about him, yes."

"Hmm, you aren't a thing YET.", she smiled.

"Well... I just don't know how to tell him..."

"How about going on an unofficial date? Like, doing something you both enjoy?... OR wait, how about Jay and I suggest something you both don't like, so that you're staying here together and then Jay makes a suggestion on what you could do in the house?"

"But what if he still agrees on doing that with you guys?"

"I'm pretty sure he'll prefer wherever you are and what you want, especially when it's something you both dislike, don't you think?"

"I don't know?", you both just chuckle.

"Okay, let's wait until breakfast and then let's see~"

"Okay okay.", you nodded.
