Listen, the photo is this photo cuz it's so cute! Anyways, the story is based on a roblox roleplay me and my friend are doing. In the roleplay we live with each other for the convenience of using my home but in the story we have seperate houses. Just a quick note, there may be ⚠️ trigger warnings ⚠️ Swearing, Sexual references (you will see what I mean, and no there is not going to be smut between Mae and Kyu) and panic attacks. Anyways enjoy! Also, just for future reference italics are in the character's head.

~~One year after the incident~~
~~Mae's PoV~~
I woke up quickly, hitting my head on the roof. I cursed under my breath, climbing down the ladder to my bed. There was a desk under my bed, kind of like a bunk bed but the bottom bunk would be a desk instead of a bed. My room was fairly small compared to the house but I was fine with it.

I got up and got ready for school. I sighed, filling my backpack with the essentials. I left my room, smelling breakfast. I rushed downstairs in my black jeans, white sneakers, red hoodie with patches similar to Micheal's and black-rimmed glasses. I seemed very cheerful today, other than the fact I hit my head. "Wow, Dad, I didn't know you could cook so well!" I said, then I noticed they weren't there. "Huh..." I said quietly. I then noticed a note next to my breakfast saying 'Me and your father are in the basement. Come down and tell us when you're going to school. Love you! ~ Micheal.'

I looked to my breakfast, seeing pancakes with a red Mountain Dew as a drink. I smiled, knowing it'll be a good day with a good breakfast. I quickly ate my breakfast and went into the basement to check in with my dads. They were playing Apocalypse Of The Damned. I smiled at them, they were a cute couple and I was lucky to have them as my dads. "Hey, Dads. I'm heading over to school now." I said loud enough for them to hear from the stairs. "Alright! Stay safe!" Micheal said as I left the house. I got out my car keys and drove my car over to Kyu's house. I usually drove her to school. I didn't mind it, I actually pretty much enjoyed it. Any chance I get to hang with her means everything to me. Traffic was slow, which meant it was going to take some time to get to her.

~~Kyu's PoV~~
I sighed, waiting for Mae to arrive. I checked the time, it being almost time for school. "Come on... Where is she?" I said quietly, being jump scared by my father, Present Mic screaming karaoke lyrics. I just sighed as my other father, Aizawa, would stop him soon.

I saw Mae outside, and smiled. I was always happy to see her. I grabbed my backpack, putting on black sneakers and going outside. It was fairly warm so I didn't wear a sweater. I then walked from my house to Mae's car.

Her car was a PT cruiser, like her father's. I saw her smiling at me as I smiled back. I got in and locked the car, puttingon my seatbelt and greeting her kindly. I saw she didn't answer and I got a bit confused and sad. "Mae..?"

~~Mae's PoV~~
When I got there I saw her walked out. I smiled nicely to her, and when she smiled back I zoned out. I started day dreaming about what we could do after school. Then I heard her call my name.
"Mae..?"
"Huh?" I said, turning to her. She wasn't smiling anymore, which had me concerned.
"Oh, good! You were just day dreaming or something..." She smiled again.
"Yeah.. what's up?"
"We're going to be late.." She looked at the clock.
"Shit, you're right." I said, starting the car as I drove us to school. I decided to play music and Bob Marley came on the radio. 'Damn I'm such a geek!' I exclaimed in my head as I saw Kyu laugh at me.

~~Kyu's PoV~~
"Dude, you're geeking out so hard right now." I laughed, seeing her face was red. She laughed along with me and I smiled. She stopped the car, saying we were here. I nodded and left the car, going inside.

We were almost late, but luckily we didn't stay in the car long or make stops before class. We got in the class and saw Ms. Remmings. She seemed upset or angry at someone, and usually didn't care for people being late unless she was mad or we had a good reason. I mean, we could lie though.. right?

Ms. Remmings might look past that and give us detention. Or, Mae detention. I have never gotten a detention ever, back in U.A. I was a good kid.

I sighed, I was nervous about this school. Everyone here was either a popular jerk or a loser. Me and Mae are unfortunately the losers of the game that is life. I've always wondered what it's like to be popular, but I'm okay with my life as a loser. Or, I keep telling my self that...

~~Mae's PoV~~
I glanced at Kyu, seeing she was getting sadder. I was not doing work like I should have. I couldn't focus knowing she was visibly upset. "Psst, Hey." I hit her shoulder lightly and whispered "Talk to me at lunch." I said, then I focused back on my work.

I hated seeing Kyu sad, it made me sad. Yet, I couldn't make her happy right now because I'd have no escape to the stress. I can get rid of the stress I feel through video games or pot. I'm not allowed to do either of those during class though. Music works sometimes, but it usually backfires and makes me go into deep thoughts which usually causes more stress.

~~Timeskip: Lunch~~

~~Mae's PoV~~
I sat on the steps leading up to the school's entrance. I wondered if she'd gotten sadder since class and it made my heart sank. It's been 5 minutes and I didn't see her outside yet. We usually met outside for lunch to go to Seven Eleven. I waited, bored and worried. Then I saw her come outside.

"Hey, what took so long?" I asked calmly, turning around to face her while standing up.
"Hey.. Sorry I was talking to Ms. Remmings. Why did you want to take to me?"
"I wanted to see if you were okay."
"I'm fine."
I knew she lied.
"Don't lie, please tell me the truth." I smiled, putting my hand on her shoulder.
"Well, I kind of wish that people here were nicer, Like at U.A. Everyone is just a popular jerk or a loser. And... I kinda want to know what it's like to be popular... I don't know- maybe I'm just super nervous..." She said quickly, sighing afterwards.

I kept my hand on her shoulder, it cheering her up a bit. "Hey, dude. Don't worry about the popular jerks, they're just trying to bring you down. You're awesome! You are so unique and you are my best friend. I could never ask for any more." I smiled. She sniffles and then she smiled back.

"Thanks Mae.. you always make me feel better." She said and I smiled to that, knowing it's true. "Thanks. So, Sev Elev?" I asked, going off topic. "Yeah, of course!" She said. I got in the car, feeling nervous from helping out Kyu.

Once we made it I bought us 2 slushies, I got my favourite flavour which was cherry and she got blue raspberry. We just sat in my car drinking our slushies then we went back to school.

~~Timeskip: Afterschool~~

~~Kyu's PoV~~
"Hey!" I said cheerfully to Mae.
"Hey."
"We still on for Apocalypse Of The Damned?"
"Yeah, dude. Of course! I just hope my dads aren't playing it this time..." Mae said, starting the car. I got in and she drove me to her house. We went in and I breathed in and out quietly.

Her house was so much nicer than mine, but I didn't mind at all. Her dads were in the living room just talking about Mae. "Hi Mr. and Mr. Mell!" I said cheerfully. Her parents really liked me since I was Mae's first friend ever. Or just because I'm really nice to everyone. "Hi Kyu!" Micheal said. "Are you two going into the basement?" "Yeah dad. We're going to play AOTD." "Alright, have fun!" Her and Her dad did a fist bump hand shake thing, which I found cute and funny. Then we went into the basement.

She set up the console and put in the game as I found the controllers. She put her hand out and behind her so I can levitate her controller to her. I did that and she caught it, sitting on the couch in a comfortable position as I sat next to her.

She loaded up the game and then we went into level 9 the cafetorium. We played for hours, laughing and raging when we died. It was funny for both of us and I felt great after playing with her. She always made me feel better, I don't know why. Maybe it's a quirk she has, or maybe it's just her.

I checked the time. "Damn.. I have to get home now or I will be late for training. Can I get a ride home?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course dude!" She replied as she got up and turned off the game. She grabbed her car keys and went upstairs with me. "I'll be back, dads." She said to her dads as she left the house with me.

We got in the car and she started it up. We barely talked the whole time, not even the radio was on. It was just awkward silence. Once we got to my house I said bye and got home. Aizawa was standing at the door and waiting for me. We started training right away. I was lucky to have two pro heroes as parents.

~~Timeskip: After Training~~

~~Kyu's PoV~~
I got ready for bed, changing into a blue night gown and hopped into bed. I was exhausted after training. I used my levitation to toss something small at the light switch to turn off the lights. It worked but there was a small bottle on the floor. I levitated it back onto the desk and then went to sleep. I had dreams of high school and how bad it could go. It got calmer when Mae appeared in the dream. I didn't know but I was blushing in my sleep.

~~Mae's PoV~~
I laid in bed when I got home, sighing from the long day I had. I heard someone enter so I turned to the door. "Hey, Mae. Is Kyu coming back tomorrow?" Jeremy said. Micheal was right behind him.
"I don't know, do you want me to invite her over?"
"Yeah, ask her tomorrow at school."
"Alright, I'm tired so I'll sleep now."
"Goodnight, Mae." They both came in and kissed my forehead. I smiled, saying goodnight. They turned off the light then closed the door. I had good dreams of Kyu. I don't know why, but I blushed in my sleep. I could tell I was going to have a good dream tonight...

Wow. That took hours and hours to make. Over time it took 3 days. Wow. This is the most work I have put into a book so I really hope it does good! Also the longest, wow. I'm glad I put in so much work, but I really hope this does well for the amount of time I put into this. I just realized it's like 7:10 am, and I haven't slept yet so I should sleep now... see you in a few days if this does well. Even if it doesn't I'm going to continue because I enjoy writing this.
