Hey guys! So I haven't been updating for a while. Sorry about all the confusion of me updating but I'll be on and off because with school I get so much homework every night. Oh and sorry they're always so short. I just want to make this book really long for all you guys. Okay so here's the next chapter.😜

Last time on "Just Friends"- A Raura Story

Ross' pov

"Ross and Laura down to the reading table." Someone says over the intercom

We walk down seeing everyone else there already.

"Hey guys!" Laura and I say together

We look at each other and blush

"So Kevin, Heath what did you want to tell us?" Laura asks

"We'll get to it." Kevin says

We start reading the script and then Laura and I start reading ahead and in black and white it says "Austin and Ally kiss"

We look at each other and blush. She seems kinda scared. I wonder why.

Laura's pov

HOLY CRAP!

ME
AND
ROSS
KISSING
ON
LIVE
CAMERA

I REPEAT HOLY CRAP

You must be wondering why I'm freaking out. Well number one you know I have a crush on Ross but number two is...

I STILL HAVEN'T HAD MY FIRST KISS

Hey! Don't judge. I mean Rydel is older than me and still didn't yet either.

Ross is just staring at me right now and blushing. Oh crap of course he doesn't want to kiss me. He's probably blushing because he thinks it's some sort of joke.

Then a voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Laura?" Kevin's voice echoes through my ears.

"Um yea?" I try saying nonchalantly.

"Are you going to read your line?"

"Oh... yea" I say unsure of where we are in the script

"Laur" Ross whispers. I turn to him. "Third line from the top" he whispers again. Oh God he's my savior

"Austin I don't know if we should do this." I say in my Ally voice.

Supposedly here Austin and Ally are trying to go on top of the roof of Sonic Boom to look at the stars together. Yeah, romantic, I know.

(A/N: I made this up, this is not really in an episode, but come on it's fiction right?😂)

"Oh come on Ally, you never take any risks. I mean what type of girl brushes her teeth with goggles on?!" Ross says in his Austin voice

"I can take risks! Look!" I say and then the stage directions say Ally tries to climb up to the roof but falls and Austin catches her.

"Okay you proved me wrong you can take risks, but you majorly fail at them." Ross says

"I guess your right, I'll never be a risk taker." I say

Then the script says Austin and Ally stare into each other's eyes

"But how about one more try?" I say

Then underneath says Ally leans in to kiss Austin; Austin and Ally kiss

And that's the end of the episode

Ross and I just look at each other.

"So, what did you guys think?" Heath asks waiting for a sign of approval

Ross and I still stare at each other acting as we never even heard what Heath just said.

"I think they liked it" Raini commented.

"I think it's a great script" Ross says, not daring to take his gaze away from mine. "What do you think Laur?"

"It's um... good" I barely let out.

"Just good?" Ross says now smirking at me

"Kevin, will we actually have to kiss or can we do a theatre kiss?" I say ignore Ross' question and ending our silent staring contest.

"Well, we want to make the show as great as it can be, but if you guys aren't up to it then you can." Kevin answers.

"I'm in" Ross says so surely, "I mean, give the people what they want, right?" Then he turns back to me, "Laur, thoughts?"

"Do you think I could think about it for a bit more?" I ask

"Sure Laura. Tomorrow is just a revising and rewriting day so you guys don't have to come in. Take your time tomorrow to think about it. It's an easy rewrite. We'll film the 'kiss' or 'not so much kiss' on Friday." Kevin says

"Okay thanks Kev" I thank him

"You guys are dismissed for the day." Heath lets us know after a few more conversations talking about some of Calum's wacky ideas for his Dez character.

"Great job today!" Kevin shouts as we are all walking out the door.

So I walk back to my dressing room to get my stuff to go home and for some reason Ross follows me inside. We sit on the couch to talk a bit.

"So Laur, what did you think of the script?" He says playing with his 'R' ring on his finger. Awe he's nervous to talk about the kiss. That's so cute!

"I thought it was a good script, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to go through with it and bring everything we need to the table." I say, trying to hint at that I didn't have my first kiss yet.

"Laura if it's about you kissing me, then I get it. Don't worry, you won't have to spare my feelings." He says kind of gloomy and sad.

"Aw no Ross, it's not you. Well some sort is, I mean we're best friends and I don't want to ruin that. But the real reason why I'm scared is because I've haven't had my first kiss yet." I confess.

"Laur I get it you want to have it with someone special, not just me." Ross says sweetly.

"No Ross that's not it. I mean yea sure, but I just don't even know how to kiss somebody." I say.

"Laur, if you decide to do this then you won't have to worry. I'll take the lead, you will just have to follow me." Ross says with a caring voice, as he interlaced out fingers.

I then put my head on his shoulder. "Ross thanks for being so kind and caring about this with me." I say and then I kiss his cheek. "But I'm still not so sure. I'll make up my mind tomorrow and tell Kevin and Heath on Thursday."

"Okay Laur, whatever you're comfortable with. And you don't have to thank me; I would do anything for you." By now we're both staring into each others' eyes, hands still interlocked. "So do you want to do something tomorrow. You could come over to my house. My parents have to go my Aunt's house in Colorado for a few days, Ryland is going over to the studio for a meeting with the CEO, Riker and Rocky are going to play hockey, and Rydel said she was going to the mall with Ellington. So it would just be you and me. We could rehearse the script after they finish revising and fixing it."

"Sure" is all I have to say.

"Nice, so I better get going. Come by my house around 12 tomorrow and I'll make us lunch." Ross states.

"K. See you then." We both get up and share a hug, which makes me feel so secure. His arms wrapping around my whole body make me so warm. And he pretty much engulfs me due to our size difference.

"Bye Laur!" Is the last thing he says before he leaves.
