|3| GET ME OUT OF HERE!
It was a dark and lonely place....
You know how movies usually start out like that.
I felt as if I was in a movie.
I was cramped, my legs squashed up together against the opposite wall.
I couldn't say the same for Liam though.
Liam was breathing rather forcefully to inhale air in his lungs which I guessed was because of the sudden turn of events.
Suddenly coming to my senses, I tried to locate my phone.
Which was rather inconvenient because of the fact it was pitch black.
'Stupid phone' I cursed to myself.
Sighing rather loudly I pushed Liam out of the doorway.
I tried twisting the doorknob and as I expected it did not open.
'I already tried that doofus' Liam said.
I know this child not calling me a doofus.
'Yes I am' he retorted.
Ignoring him, I pounded on the door hoping someone would hear me.
I continued pounding on the door even resorting to shouting for help, and at times kicking at the door in frustration.
Sighing, I slumped to the floor practically defeated and with loser Liam still on the floor God knows doing what.
'You've been such a great help Liam, you're the best!' I sarcastically said.
'All in a day's work' he retorted back at me.
I snorted and kept quiet after a while eventually I asked Liam:
'You think we're going to get out of here?'
'I know we are Bella'
That was the last thing on my mind, that and as well as being trapped inside the storage room before I closed my eyelids to sleep.
****
'Bella?'
'Pssst. Bella?'
'Bella! Wake up!'
I groaned forcing my eyes to open to see nothing but darkness in front of me and closed it again.
'Bella!'
'Leave me alone' I groaned.
He sighed which I thought was a sign of resignation but clearly was not.
He started poking my sides.
'Wake up, wake up, wake uppppp!'
He was starting to poke harder and harder and I just couldn't take it anymore.
'I hate you' I said as venomously as I could trying to wake from my slumber.
He simply grinned back and motioned towards the door.
There were voices coming from outside the door.
We both looked at each other simultaneously and began pounding on the door.
The voices got lower and lower and we finally couldn't hear them again.
Groaning I walked back to where I sat before stretching my legs out as much as I could.
Liam too did the same probably exhausted at our efforts.
I was feeling really bored so I started to count unicorns in my head.
'1 unicorn. 2 unicorns. 3 unicorns. 4 unicorns. 5 unicorns. 6 uni-'
Suddenly the door banged open to reveal two students going at it.
I mean they were really going at each other faces with such fervor it was astonishing.
Liam saw this and immediately looked at the door and me.
He cocked his head to the left motioning me to follow.
We quietly made our way past them Liam grabbing my hand to pull me forward.
Finally we can see the glimmer of light and we push our way through letting an exhale of relief.
'This was totally your fault Liam'
Liam passed me glare and stomped ahead towards his car with me following behind him.
****
'Did you ever get to see who that girl was?'
'No, why?'
'She was hot!'
Boys these days, I sighed.
Shortly, we arrived to my house.
Exhaling in relief, we entered the house after unlocking it with the key.
Throwing the key onto the table, I quickly grabbed some snacks from the snack bar and settled into the couch.
Liam immediately headed into the gaming room probably to play Call Of Duty.
Shortly after the door bell rang.
Once. Twice. Three times.
By the third time I lazily got up and opened the door.
I was suddenly launched back into the couch behind me air knocked forcefully out of my lungs.
Immediately noticing her lavender aroma I patted her slowly.
'Vic you can let go of me now.'
'Bells I haven't seen you in forever.' she said stepping back.
'You saw me yesterday' I deadpanned.
'Its been 15 hours 12 minutes and 18 seconds, not that I was counting.'
This was my best friend Victoria. She was my other half but almost complete polar opposites. And I wouldn't have it another way.
'Me neither' I smiled softly.
*****
'How was your first day of school?' Vic asked.
'Boring and maybe a little exciting.' I replied.
'Really, why?' she asked.
I told her how Liam was about to call a medical institution because I was 'bipolar' and how I managed to get the phone from him but we knocked into a door and got locked inside for almost and hour and how two people who were making out were our ticket to escape from the storage room.
'Wow,' she said eyes widening, 'you sure had an eventful day.'
'Yup, how was your day?'
'Boring as hell.'
I laughed almost choking on the Oreos I was eating.
Glaring at me, she said, 'Not funny.'
'Continue,' seeing she was waiting for me to stop laughing to tell her story.
Frowning she said, 'There was this one teacher that was getting on my god damn nerves. She over like, You're not dismissed until the bell rings, me being the person I am waited patiently,' putting emphasis on patiently, 'but what happens, the freaking teacher called me back because I was walking too quickly out of the classroom. Seriously,' she says pulling at her hair, who does that'
'I really don't know.' I replied smiling softly at her.
One thing I really liked about Victoria was that she could come to me about anything and that was one of the reasons why we became best friends.
We would face every challenge together, up until now, because she had to go to a different school.
As if hearing my thoughts, she grabbed my hand turning it palm up so that our matching friendship rings shown with the inscriptions were visible.
We both smiled at each other then continued to talk about random things until we grew tired and fell asleep.
*****
Groaning I sat up, rubbing at my eyes an looked at the clock.
It read 3:15.
Eyes widening I scrambled to get Liam's key and left a note for both of them that I went to go pick up Bryan.
Reversing out the driveway I sped out onto the road cursing my self to have forgotten about picking Bryan up.
What time was I even supposed to pick him up anyway?
I sent a quick prayer so that the lights will turn green for me so I can get there as soon as I could.
Luckily enough most of the lights turned green and I eventually made it to Bryan's school.
There he was along with other students waiting for someone to pick him up.
Honking my horn to get Bryan's attention he looked around looking for me and finally spotted my car.
Smiling he made his way to the car opening the passenger door and closing it behind him.
Turning to me he smiled and I smiled back.
Nervously shifting in my seat, yes Bryan smile was creepy, I looked away from him, and put the car in drive.
His hand curled around my own, then smiling manically he said:
'You're late.'
Cue the hyperventilation, an uneasy smile, and the silent treatment until we reached to the house.
****
Do you guys know how the clown from 'It' smiles.....that's how Bryan was smiling.
Cue the shuddering.
😂😂
View the trailer at the top for the movie 'It'. Never going to watch that movie unless you pay me a million dollars.
