I finished the day by giving a check up to another dog and giving a bird a cast for a broken wing. I hung my lab coat on the coat rack. I turned off the lights and locked the door behind me. I threw my stuff in the back seats of my car. I opened the door to my car and jumped in. I drove to my apartment complex and parked in the abanded lot behind it. I sighed at I grabed all of my belongs out of the car and locked it. I struggled to the apartment door. A person opened the door for me and when I looked up, I saw the smiling face of Caleb. "Thank you Mr. Miller. I couldn't have opened this door by myself." I nodded at him in thanks.

"You are quite welcome, Ms. Donatella." His smile brodened. "May I help you with your belonging?"

I nodded again. "Thank you." He took some bags and let me take the lead up the stairs. I unlocked the door as we finally got to my apartment. I opened it and said, "You can toss them on the counter." He nodded and silently placed them on the counter. I watched him as he turned around and walked toward me. "We still need to go over what happened this morning." I tilted my head. I was waiting for him to spill everything.

"Miss Donatella, if I tell you the meaning about everything I say, I woundn't have anything to say at all." He smiled at me and I smiled back.

My smile turned into a smirk. "Maybe I want to shut you up."

He shook his head still smiling. "Alright I'll tell you, but if I don't say anything for the rest of this week, you have to deal with it."

My smirk turned into a smile. "I think I can go without hearing your voice for the rest of the week."

He frowned and said dramaticly, "Oh my soul. You hurt my heart with those nastly words."

"Which book did you get that quote from?" I asked.

He smiled. "Which question do you want me to answer?"

I sighed. "If we keep this up, you will never explain to me about this morning."

Caleb looked away. "I like you, Miss Donatella." For the first time in a long time, I blushed.

Caleb was still advoiding my eyes, so I cupped his face with hands. "I like you too." I kissed him gentally on the his lips.

"I guess this means everything has changed." He smiled down at me.

I nodded. "Everything has changed."
