If I were to use 1 word to describe The Outsiders TV Show, it would be this:

WTF!

Whoever made this show definitely turned a fabulous book/movie into a terrible, horrible shit show. Let me explain--by sharing some of my thoughts, and asking some important questions that really need to be answered.

1. They misspell Ponyboy and Sodapop's names in the theme song/title credits.

"Pony Boy"

"Soda Pop"

WHY?

2. Why is Soda, and like everyone else, super ugly? I mean, who even held the auditions???

3. Who the fuck is Scout?

4. Why isn't Ponyboy's hair blond? It doesn't just magically turn back to brown after a couple of days, you know.

5. In my opinion, the only character that is portrayed the best (and looks the best) is Two-Bit. Everyone else, BYE!

6. Why does Ponyboy hook up with a lady who is 10 years older than him? What??? Talk about OOC because S.E. Hinton wrote that Ponyboy doesn't take an interest in girls much. And that includes girls 10 years older than him!!

7. Cherry's okay...

8. Is it just me or does Darry, Tim, Steve, and Soda all look alike? Everybody's a brunette in the show. Everybody. Where are all the blondies at?? (See #11 though.)

9. Ponyboy sounds like he has a cold during the entire show.

10. Since when were Two-Bit, Soda, and Steve in a band?

11. Why is Randy a blonde now? What happened to his curly afro?

12. This one bothers me the most: WHO THE F*CK IS SARAH JANE AND WHY IS SANDY NONEXISTENT???

13. Not gonna lie, I straight out LAUGHED when Ponyboy fell off the train bridge.

14. In one episode, some random dude drops off his adorable baby at the Curtis's for them to babysit for a few days. Umm, who the? What the? The Curtis brothers already have to take care of each other, and that's hard enough for them without parents, don't you think? But no, this random dude just had to drop off his kid at their door, and then later, the boys find the dude getting wasted at a bar. What? I never understood this episode... (maybe 'cause I just skim and not actually watch it, but still... what?)

15. Honestly, Ponyboy is so cringe-worthy in this show. I can't take it.

16. Why on earth does Soda have the hots for a cringy Soc girl? Soda, no. NO!

17. I only enjoyed one part of the entire show, and that was when Soda and Two-Bit were helping Darry practice talking to the girl he liked. Two-Bit acted as the girl and it was, I got to say, pretty amusing! Two-Bit wore an oversized bra and had the shrilly voice, and it was just UGH TWO-BIT SLAYYYY!

Final notes: EW, CRINGY, and JUST NO.
