Just Enough
Ok, Ok Honey,
Know you say happiness ain't brought by money,
And ain't saying you're a gold digger,
But how come when my bonus comes in your smile's a tad bigger?
I'll tell you why,
When we've got the doh, we're sky high,
Bills paid, less stress,
Full wallet, life's less of a mess.
When we've got the cash, less worry,
More relaxed, less hurry,
But if money in the bank gives us so much happiness,
What's the value of relationships and closeness?
Are "I love you" and unexpected favors,
Listening ears and surprising saviors,
Not worth something, just enough?
Surely it's family, fun and friendly chatter,
That truly matter?
