"Enter the Danceverses" is a playlist available in Just Dance 2023 Edition.
It lasts 28'12'' and consists of 7 songs. This playlist is also known as "Story Mode".

• Chapter 1: "Can't Stop The Feeling"

The map begins when we first meet Sara, one of the main characters in the "Story Mode". She is depicted as an ordinary girl, which can serve as a symbol and representation of the Just Dance Community, which comprises normal people with a passion for dancing. She spends time with her friends in the living room, watching TV. On the screen, we can see a blue, tall boy - another main character named Wanderlust, the danceverses prince - playing with a ball called Discoball.

Then Discoball falls out of Wanderlust's hands and moves into Sara's world, now as a regular ball, rolling at her feets. Sara's the only person in the living room who sees what's going on. Shocked, she picks up the ball. Wanderlust, seeing that the girl noticed him, extends his hand to her. Sara, probably thinking that Wanderlust only wants the ball back, hands it to him. When Discoball touches Wanderlust's hand, it returns to its normal, colorful form and Sara is drawn into the Danceverses. In this world, she turns into a real coach.

Sara and Wanderlust travel together through different danceverses (for example Dancity, Winterhaven or Space), meeting characters such as:
→ Liza Friday (from "Last Friday Night" [T.G.I.F.]),
→ Coach P2 (from "Temperature" Classic Version),
→ Coach P3 (from "I Like It" JD2020)
→ Coach P2 (from "Sweet Sensation").

All the characters have a great time with each other, and at the end of the map they dance the same choreography together. When the song ends, everyone jumps, laughs, and claps. Discoball is also happy.

But this joy cannot last forever, because suddenly a strange, unknown figure created from shadows appears in the sky. The person is dressed in black/purple/pink, has dark makeup and characteristic long pink and golden claws. A mysterious character uses its powers to kidnap four of Sara's new friends and teleport them to "Swan Tower". Wanderlust, seeing what is happening, quickly reacts and opens a portal through which he, Sara and Discoball escape to "Luz Solar Retail Therapy" from an unknown enemy.

• Chapter 2: "Witch"

The map begins with a purple-pink iris looking forward. The pupils' reflection reveals a certainvague image. However, the iris turns golden, and the screen quickly fades away, showing us two characters on the screen. They're in the "Swan Tower".

In the previous map, one of them was shown as an enemy of Wanderlust, Sarah and DiscoBall - the main villain of the story. She is known as Night Swan.
The woman sits on her throne. A little later, we'll learn more about the other character. It's a tall, dark red-headed boy, who wears a red suit. He obediently stands adjacent to the throne of the Night Swan. He's not happy.

Suddenly, a woman gets up and appears on the platform in the center of the tower (the throne room). She throws off her black coat. In the background, we can see her throne, which connects to the gigantic figure of a black swan. On the sides of the platform are characters from the previous map who have been taken away. The coaches look like they're in a state of trance, unable to move.
They don't even blink. Around the platform are thousands of Night Swan servants.

She starts to use her power and turns the four kidnapped into her minions (it looks like she's draining their energy). Each of them transforms into a black figure with black feathers on their shoulders and a purple mask on top. Then the coaches begin to move to the rhythm of the music and listen to Night Swan's commands. Since "Just Dance" is a dance game, we can assume that a woman teaches her subordinates specific moves to fight or just controls them.

As her power grows, Night Swan begins to open portals to other Danceverses, and her army starts to come through them. The power she has generated is visible at
the end of the map, which is heading towards the portals.

• Chapter 3: "Physical"

The map starts at the "Solar Retail Therapy". Here, players meet another main coach - Brezziana. We see her walking up from the left - she is tall and dressed in orange. Brezziana carries a boombox.

The girl turns it on and begins to stretch to the beat of the song. After a while, she starts dancing. When the song begins to chorus, many people join toher and they all dance energetically. This map shows how important and beautiful dancing can be. It allows you to express your feelings and emotions. It also shows that you can connect with people who may not seem to have much in common with you. Dancing is also just fun. Suddenly, everyone throws themselves on the floor, but Brezziana is the only one who doesn't roll over and does it perfectly. However, when she notices that the others have failed, the girl gets up and helps. It shows how good a person she really is.

This can also be an attention from the creators. If you are able, please help others and show that you have a big heart like Brezziana. She is always ready to help everyone. It can also be seen as never giving up and getting up and moving on even after a big swallow. At the end of the song we see Wanderlust, Sara and Discoball passing through the portal to Brezziana. Wanderlust invites her to join their team against the Night Swan, to which she energetically agrees.

• Chapter 4: "Rather Be"

This map introduces you to a new character in the story mode.
Their name is Mihaly. They're a shaman. And yes - they're non-binary.

We see them passing through a crowd of blurry people. They're the only ones wearing colorful clothes. The whole crowd and the sky are dark. They put on headphones, and suddenly they are in a completely different place. It symbolizes that dance and music can save each of us from the gray of everyday life.

It can take us away from sadness and pain, giving us a moment to breathe and face our problems while being twice as strong. During the chorus of the map, Mihaly appears in a different place - the canyon.

We can see how each of the previous characters shows themselves through their dancing. Wanderlust is very loose, you can see that he focuses on emotions during the dance. The same can be said of Sara. Brezziana's movements are always energetic, full of power, while Mihaly's dance shows how close they are to their soul and the world around them.

During the chorus of the map we see how many amazing things Mihaly can do thanks to their imagination and passion (e.g. jumping on levitating platforms, moving crystals), we can see that it is their world where they feel the best.

As the song comes to the end, another character appears on the screen composed of the aforementioned crystals - it's Master Panda. Mihaly and Master Panda bow to each other and begin to dance together, at the same time mastering the flow techniques.
The Flow is a power/skill that you should constantly learn and improve. Master Panda noticed Mihaly's potential and began to train them. In the background, we can see the "Temple of Master Panda". At the end of the song, Master Panda leave an imprint on Mihaly's shirt (as a fact of mastering flow techniques) and disappears.

After a moment on the screen appears a portal with other Just Dancers to which Mihaly waves and joining their team.

• Chapter 5: "Locked Out Of Heaven"

The map begins by showing a little boy who is dancing. The boy tries to make good turns, but unfortunately, it does not work out, and he stumbles. All this is watched by the disappointed Night Swan, who leaves after a while. The little boy gets sad, and he directs his eyes to the floor.

Years pass, and the little boy turns into a tall young adult man, whom we met in the second chapter (The Witch Map).
His name is Jack Rose.
He is the son of Night Swan.

The boy begins to dance. In the background, we can see many mirrors, in which, from time to time, the reflection of his mother appears. It shows how much influence this woman has on her son and how devoted she is to him. However, the longer the song lasts, the less she appears, and Jack's movements become more relaxed and joyful.

During the chorus of the map, you will notice that the boy is popular and worshiped by crowds of his admirers.
The amount of Jack Rose fans is growing every second. Finally, from his own room and a small audience, Jack appears on
a huge stage, playing a concert. Now, players can see how much he loves to perform, that's exactly how he can show himself.

The blocks in the background slide sideways, showing a gigantic figure of the Night Swan, helicopters flying, and his mother's on the billboards. We can guess that the woman watches her son's actions all the time.

When the song ends, Jack notices his mother standing at the door. As before, she is disappointed and shakes her head, which saddens the boy. After a while, on the left side, a portal with the team of Just Dancers opens, and Jack turns to them.

• Chapter 6: "Majesty"

This is the most important chapter for the whole story mode plot. Wanderlust and the rest of the crew say hello to Jack. Discoball is the first to notice that Jack won't join the team so easily and worries about what happens next. Wanderlust approaches with a smile to persuade Jack to fight his mother and what she does.
The prince bowed to him. After a while,
the rest of the team begin to doubt whether asking Jack for help is a good idea, and they look at each other insecurely. Wanderlust tries to grab Jack's hand, but he rejects it.

The boys are starting to dance with each other. You can see that Wanderlust treats it as a joint game, whereas Jack treats it more as a fight. The dark background turns into a concert platform from the previous song. In the background, we see Night Swan watching her son's actions. After a while, Wanderlust is transformed by Night Swan into one of her servants, and Jack becomes uncertain about the whole situation (as can be seen by the expression on his face) and his mother's decision. He's worried. The cheering crowd also downstairs turns into Night Swan's servants.

In the back, we can see that battles begin between two groups: The Just Dancers and The Night Swan's Army. Brezziana saves the coach from Sweet Sensation, Mihaly - the coach from I like it (JD2020).

In the back, Jack is arguing with his mother. He disagrees with what she's doing and decides to join The Just Dancers Team, transforming Wanderlust back into his true self. When Wanderlust is himself again, we can see that Jack is smiling.

Then Brezziana saves the coach from Temperature (Classic), and Mihaly saves Liza Friday (a coach from Last Friday Night).

As Mihaly fights, in the back, we see the rest of the team motivating Sara to fight the Night Swan. Both of them begin to dance. The group is cheering on their friend. At the end of the day, Sara wins. Night Swan opens a portal and runs away. The team is happy and celebrating.

Discoball begins to shine brightly, moving the team inside themselves, and we move on to the last chapter.

• Chapter 7: "If You Wanna Party"

Our heroes celebrate winning and saving many characters in Discoball. The coaches cheer for them and thank them.

The song begins and all five of the main characters, led by Sarah, dance, sing together and play. All the other coaches join in. Many of the iconic characters from the series appear on the back. In the background we see a lot of maps.

At some point, Jack has his own solo, and everyone else supports him. At the end, they all hold hands for the last time and lift them up. The Team thanks Sara for her help, and Wanderlust sends her back to her world.

It shows that every player can do what they want, and just as Sara defeated the Night Swan, players can overcome their problems and barriers.

This is how the rest of the characters, as the real Just Dance Team, thank the players for being here.
