"So? Why did you want to see me?" You asked as you raise an brow, crossing your arms and leaning on your right leg.

That question made Tanjiro go stiff. Which didn't go unnoticed by you, causing you to squint your eyes at him for a split second. "W-well..um-I.." Tanjiro stumbled on his words, his maroon eyes moving everywhere but you. And the most greatest thing happened before your eyes. Tanjiro eyes rolled to the back of his head, his brows scrunching up as if it was part of an frown and his cheeks puffed out as he gritted his teeth together, including a little double chin.

"I wanted to say hello..!" Tanjiro words were a bit muffled, but you could hear it clearly still. Yet, you didn't care about that. All you care about was what kind of face was Tanjiro making.

"Really..?" You asked, clearly unsure.

Tanjiro couldn't even say the words anymore, the pain for him getting worse already and causing his face was almost red as a tomato. The only thing he could manage is a struggled nod. You were pretty much confused on why the burgundy-haired boy was making that..painful..scrunched up..face? That's when it hit you, was Tanjiro lying? Cause it looks like he seems bad at lying. Sighing again, you told Tanjiro to look at you in the eyes. Tanjiro did as you said, struggling pretty much with his painful, scrunched up, face. "Don't lie to me, I can tell you're lying." You bluntly said, staring at him dead in the eyes. You were probably guessing Tanjiro was one of those..honest people, but thinking about it, he seems to be pretty much that type of person. After you said that, his face went back to the way it was. He sighed, feeling relief from the pain he had immediately felt when he made that face. "I..I wanted to ask you something.." Tanjiro nervously said, slowly looking down instead of you. He found the ground interesting instead.

You silently waited, not gonna expect the unexpected question. Tanjiro breathed in and, "I wanna cuddle with you for tonight..!" Quietly yelled with a flushed face, his eyes closed so he wouldn't have to see your reaction.

You stared at him with a dot eye face, before going back to your blunt face.

Sighing once again, you hugged him. Which surprised Tanjiro, looking down at you to see that your hiding your face in his chest. You puffed your chubby, (s/c), cheeks out as you nuzzled your face closer into his chest.

"I..don't know how to cuddle.." You mumbled, a embarrassed, pink, hue on your cheeks.

Tanjiro was already at his limit of his face heating up. His face was burning like a fire hazard, very red to the point where it reached his ears. He also started worrying a bit if you could hear his heart beating, cause he could pretty much hear his own heart beating loud and fast. But Tanjiro had to focus on one thing he asked for, to cuddle with you.

Slowly but gently, he wrapped his arms around your waist. His hands—no—his arms felt shaky, he was panicking, yet, at the same time he was was happy. After he wrapped his arms around your waist, he slowly stepped backwards towards your bed. It also looked like you got the idea, since you also started taking steps forward each time he took a step back. Laying down on the bed, he turned both himself and you on your sides. He slowly pulled you closer, putting his head on top of yours. You didn't know why, but you felt warm on the inside. Finally able to go back to sleep. Your eyes felt heavy, slowly closing and feeling relaxed.

Tanjiro soon heard your soft, quiet, snores. Finding it adorable.

He could also smell your scent too, it smelt sweet. It smelled like strawberries, vanilla, and a hint of chocolate. Tanjiro relaxed from the sweet smell that came from you. His eyes soon started feeling heavy, as well. He nuzzled his face into your hair, pulling you more closer and tangling your legs together. The soft snores of yours lulling him to sleep.

On that night, you both embraced each other's warmth. Sleeping away in the night.

•3rd person•—————————————————————————

A bang on the door was the thing (Y/n) and Tanjiro woke up to, not realizing the position they're in. "OI!! WOMAN, HAVE YOU SEEN MANJIRO?!" The familiar aggressive voice yelled outside her bedroom door, still banging on the door like a madman. And when Tanjiro heard his name, he immediately opened his eyes wide in realization. When he opened his eyes, he saw a familiar, cute, sleepy, face he adored.

His face immediately went back to being a red tomato.

He noticed how (Y/n) was hugging him in a tight hold, also knowing how she'll easily wake up. Making the difficulty 10x harder than it already is, causing him to panic more.

Including how she'll start waking up more, since she's already half awake.

"WOMAN!! WAKE UP BEFORE—" Inosuke voice was stopped in the middle of his sentence, only a odd silence after. Tanjiro gulped, not gonna expect what's gonna come next. A gentle knock was heard in the bedroom, a familiar voice coming after. "(Y/n)? Are you there, because I'm gonna unlock the door if you don't answer." Aoi voice sounded threatening a little, but it sounded worse when it was gentle as well.

That's when Tanjiro did the only thing he could do.

He jumped straight out of (Y/n) arms, going straight under the bed and hiding there. Causing (Y/n) to wake up completely, slowly looking around as she rubbed both of her eyes to see better.

When the blur cleared away, she turned her head towards the door. Hearing another voice come from behind it. "(Y/n)-Chan, are you awake? If you are, can you open the door please?" The familiar young man voice belonged to Yoriichi's, seeming to be more gentle and kinder than the other two. And open the door she did. She looked up to see Yoriichi in front of her, while the others were behind him. Yoriichi stood frozen all of a sudden, which made the others wonder what happened. Looking over Yoriichi shoulder, they got blessed with an adorable sight. (Y/n) had a bed head while her baggy shirt sported with the tired face she had.

Yet, Aoi shook her head. Trying to shake off the fuzzy feeling she felt when she looked at (Y/n), only the pink hue staying on her cheeks. She moved Yoriichi aside, being in (Y/n) view now.

And the question she asked, made (Y/n) freeze with her own eyes open wide.

"Have you seen Tanjiro?"
