I managed to stand up and walk to my brothers house, but I was limping the whole time.

I took a deep breath and then walked inside the house.

The thing is, this house feels more like home than I ever felt with Kyle. I miss my brothers.

I walked inside and I saw all my brothers in the living room, playing video games.

I haven't seen my brothers at school today. But, I'm sure they still went, maybe today was just a day that I didn't see them. But, at least I get to see them now.

I'm still crying from earlier. I can't help but hide my emotions any longer. And I brought the box of razors as a witness to show my brothers.

They noticed me and saw that I was crying.

"Ellie, what's wrong? What happened?" Daniel asked.

They all ran over to me.

"Kyle, and Nick...they did something bad." I said.

"What did they do?" Jack asked. Jackass.

"Can I sit down first?" I asked.

"Yes. Let's get you on the couch." Noah said.

Noah and Max picked me up and sat me down on the couch. While my brothers all gathered around me.

"Okay, so Ellie, what happened?" Daniel asked.

"After school, Kyle said he needed to talk to me at the back of the school. So, I walked there and then Nick showed up with a group of boys. And they took me into the middle of the woods and then hurt me. That's why I'm limping and everything." I said.

They all looked so sad.

"El, I'm so sorry that happened." Noah said.

I nodded and then cried more.

"It's okay, it's okay." Daniel said, while hugging me. I hugged him back.

Then, the rest of my brothers hugged me as well and we group hugged.

"What's in your hand?" Max asked.

Oh, right.

"Nick said he had a present for me, and then he handed me this." I said, while showing my brothers the pack of razors.

Daniel's jaw dropped. "I'm going to kill that b—"

"Language!" I shouted.

My brothers laughed.

I smiled.

"Ellie, I know how difficult it must be to live with Kyle and his parents. I have been trying to find a way so that you can live with us again. But, so far I have had no luck." Max said.

That's so sweet.

"Aww. You guys miss me?" I asked.

"Of course we do." Max said.

"You guys are so sweet," I said.

"Well, I'm not sour," Jack said.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, Lemon head. Say what whatever you want, Jackass." I said.

Oops. I shouldn't have said that.

His eyes widened. "Ellie! You better run!"

I laughed.

Oh. He's serious...

I shot up from the couch and ran upstairs. I panicked, so I ran into Daniels room.

I heard footsteps running up the stairs.

I hid in Daniels closet.

Then, I heard the bedroom door open. I heard more footsteps and then he opened the closet door.

Oh no.

He had a nerf gun in his hand.

He started shooting me with the foam bullets. I ran back downstairs and into the dinning room. I hid behind the wall, but Jack soon found me.

Max, Daniel, and Noah were laughing very loudly. It started echoing through my head.

Jack finally ran out of bullets, so he put the nerf gun on the table and then ran over to me, grabbing my arm. Then, he pushed me back onto the couch. But, I fell off the couch and he pinned me down. He smiled innocently at me and then he got up.

He held out his arm and I took it and then he pushed my arm off of his. So, I fell back down again.

"Really?" I asked.

Jack just chuckled. "Okay, I think you got what you deserved for calling me Jackass."

"You think?" I said.

He smirked.

Then, he actually helped me up.

"Thank you, this time." I said.

"No problem, Sis." He said.

"Now, what am I going to do about Kyle?" I asked.

"Listen, I know it's going to sound crazy. But you need to fight back. You're much stronger than you think. Just try it." Noah said.

"Really? You think I can do that?" I asked.

"Yep. We all believe in you. At least try it." Daniel said.

"No way!" I said.

They all made puppy faces with their lips pouted. It was so adorable.

"Aww, how can I say no to those faces? Fine. I'll do it." I said.

"Yes!" Noah said.

I laughed.

Ding!

I took out my phone and see that I got two messages from two different people.

"I'll be back, I need to reply to this." I said, as I walked into the kitchen and sat down in a chair near the counter.

The first message was from Kyle.

Kyle: Where are you?

I decided to reply.

Me: Why?

Kyle: I just wanted to pick you up. What did you think I was going to do?

Me: Oh okay, and I don't know.

Kyle: So, where are you?

Me: I'm at my brother's house.

Kyle: 1. I'm your only brother. And 2. I'm coming to pick you up. Are you ready?

Me: 1. You're not my only brother. And 2. Do you have to come and pick me up?

Kyle: Yes, I do. And yes, I am your only brother. Deal with it.

Kyle: I'll be there soon.

Me: Okay.

I sighed. I know that I don't have a choice.

I checked the second message.

Nick: Hey, Snowflake.

Me: How did you get my number?

Nick: Kyle gave it to me. Why do you care?

Me: I don't. I was just wondering.

Nick: Mhmm sure.

Me: Whatever.

Nick: So, did you like my present?

Me: Are you freaking serious right now?

Nick: I'm dead serious. Hehe.

Me: That's not funny!

Nick: Yes it is.

Me: Nick, just shut up! Look, I don't care if you don't like me. But, you're such a jerk. I'm sorry if me walking in the halls by myself, hurts your precious ego. 90% of the time I don't even tell anyone everything that's going on, or anything at all. So if you think that anyone is even there for me, live life with that 10% badge plastered on your forehead for people to look at and give you attention. I don't freaking care.

Nick: You don't know what you're talking about. 😔

Me: Bye!

I think I handled that well.

Ding Dong!

Kyle must be here.

I got up and opened the front door. Then, I saw Kyle.

"Hey, Sis. Let's go home." Kyle said.

"Okay." I said.

"Apologize to our sister right now!" Daniel shouted.

"Okay, okay. Ellie, I'm so sorry. I truly am. I was an awful brother. And I'm really sorry that I didn't treat you the way I should have." Kyle said.

"Thank you," I said.

"Now, let's go home," he said.

I nodded.

"And if you hurt our sister one more time, you don't know what will happen." Max said.

I'm happy that they're standing up for me. That means a lot.

Kyle put his hand in mine and we walked to the car. Hopefully he actually meant his apology this time.
