*D-day*

Mikasa's POV

I soon woke up from the dream that I can't really remember about. "Hmm...Why's Eren in my dream? What time is it?", I mumbled as I trying to find my phone. "Crap, it's already 1pm!"

I walked downstairs and found out there's no one in the house. "He's probably go to work by now.", I mumbled. I noticed there's a note on the table.

"Hey brat, if you see this note, breakfast is already prepared on the table and the coffee is in the kitchen, just pour some hot water in it. Yeah, don't stay up late at night, it's not good for your health. Oh by the way, Happy birthday Mikasa."

I looked at the calendar, "It's February 10, happy birthday to me, I guess.", I smirked a little. I drank my coffee, watching television program. Suddenly, my phone vibrated and notified me that I have to meet Eren at my brother's cafe 8 o'clock tonight.

"Ahh...almost forget about that, how forgetful I'm.", I mumbled.

I continued to have my breakfast or lunch I should say. I washed my plate and find a book to read in my room. I put on my headphones, listening to some relaxing music while reading my book.

After finished reading my book, I noticed the time is almost 6 o'clock. "Why today's time past that fast? Looks like my birthday is going to past without anyone celebrating it.", I said.

I got undressed, took my towel and went for a shower. "Ahh...", I felt so relaxed, a shower always washed away all my stresses.

As soon as I finished shower and dress up, I opened my closet tried to find suitable clothes to wear. After a while, I finally found the clothes I have to wear, a black camo style T-shirt, grey jeans and a pair of Adidas NMD I bought a while ago.

"How much time I have?", I mumbled as I looked towards the clock. "*sign* About an hour and a half..."

I lied on my bed, started to flashback my time with my parents, tears started to row down my eyes.

"Why do I think about that, they're gone and I can't change that fact.", I wiped away my tears and started changing my clothes. I took my laptop and a couple books for the science project.

The outside world is getting darker as time past. I locked my gate and start my journey to Levi's cafe.

--Few minutes later--

I arrived at Levi's cafe and noticed Eren is standing in front of the cafe.

"Oi Eren, don't just stand there, lighten this area with the flashlight.", I heard Levi voice from inside the cafe.

"Okay okay, where?", Eren said.

"Here! Dumbass!", Levi yelled.

"Hi, Eren. What's the matter?", I asked Eren.

"Oh hey Mikasa! I don't know, probably the fuse broke or he forgot to pay the bill, I guess.", Eren said.

"Hey! I heard that! I pay the bill every month on time, you brat.", Levi yelled. "The fuse broke. Come in, I'm almost done."

Eren and I walked inside, the cafe was pitch black. It's so dark I can't even see a thing. I put my bag aside and find a place to sit.

"Okay. Lights on in 3...2...1.", Levi said.

As soon as the light turned on, I noticed there's something on the wall.
My eyes are tried to adjust for the light, I noticed the wall have a big banner written "Happy Birthday Mikasa" and some decorative balloons, then I heard.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Mikasa, happy birthday to you~~~", I was shocked and stood don't know what to do and I saw all my friends came out of the kitchen.

I saw Armin and Connie holding a birthday cake with numeric style candle "18" on the cake. My mind was completely blank because I never been though this before.

Soon the cake reached my table, this is the signature tiramisu cake by Levi's cafe. Can't believe he made one for me, this cake is the best seller of this cafe.

My eyes are filled with tears, not because I'm sad, but I'm actually glad all of them prepared this for me.

"Nah, happy birthday Mikasa.", Eren gently said and give me tissue.

"Looks like Eren's plan worked perfectly.", Armin said.

"Yeah, it can't be denied, it's actually good.", Jean said.

Flashback

Eren's POV
--Two days earlier--

"So the plan works like this.", I said. "I will tell Levi to switch off all the lights to prevent Mikasa accidentally see our decorations."

"Will Levi accept this?", Krista asked.

"Definitely he will, don't worry about that.", I replied.

"Okay, Armin, you'll be my scouts, keep an eye on Mikasa when she leaves her house."

"Eren, can I have that position?", Jean asked.

"No!", we all denied him.

"Why?"

"You will spoil our plan, look how long is your face, I can see it from miles away.", I said to Jean.

"Fine, where is my position?", Jean asked.

"Decorations with the rest of the group.", I replied

"Oh Armin, be sure to cover your hair, there's another thing that can be seen from miles away."

"Okay.", Armin replied.

"So when Armin come in from the backdoor, the plan start initiate."

"Everybody get that?"

"Yes!", they all replied.

Flashback end

Mikasa's POV

I make a wish and blow the candle. I took a knife and cut the cake into equal pieces.

"So all of this is your plan?", I asked Eren.

"Yep, do you like it?", Eren said.

"No, I don't like it......"

"Oh that's bad...", Eren said as his face slowly sadden.

".....I love it, thank you Eren!", I said as I stood up and hugged him tightly.

"Glad you like oh no....love it.", Eren said.

"Hey Mikasa, these are the present we prepared for you.", Armin said.

I looked and noticed the table beside me is filled with boxes. "Wow, all of this are mine?"

"Yeah.", Eren said.

I grabbed a random box and opened it, it's a Everlast MMA style gloves. "Annie?"

"Yeah, it's me, haven't train with you for a while, when will you have free time. Let's train together.", Annie said as she's cracking her knuckles.

"Yeah, I will.", I said.

Then I opened another one, it's a novel by my favorite author. "Armin! It's you!"

"That's me, I noticed you always read the books by this author, so I buy it. By the way it's just launch yesterday."

"Oh really, thank you so much Armin", I said.

"What's this?", I opened another box, it's a scarf.

"It's mine.", Eren said.

As I looked at the scarf, I noticed something....

"Hey Eren, is this the special edition scarf from the anime "Invading Giants"?", I asked Eren.

"Yeah, wait a minute...do you watch that anime?", Eren said.

"It's my favorite anime! You bought it...I want to buy it for a long time. Thank you Eren, thank you so much.", I said as tears started dropping from my eyes again....

"Stop crying, you crybaby.", he said as he passed me tissue.

I decided to leave the rest to unbox when I arrived home. We all started to eat the delicious tiramisu cake of Levi.

"This cake is delicious!", Sasha said.

"Well...if Sasha said this is delicious, then it is delicious.", Connie said.

"Of course it's delicious, it's made by me.", Levi proudly said.

"Don't take all the credits, Levi. We all have a part of making this cake.", the so called "Levi's Cafe Squad" said.

"Yeah yeah, I know it", Levi said it with a look of despised to them. "Have fun, Mikasa."

"Thanks.", I gave Levi the biggest smile I can ever make.

We all continued to chit chat as they celebrating my birthday.

"Hey do you mind I ask you a question?", Ymir asked me.

"*Deep inhale*Not again....", Eren said.

"Fine...Fine...I won't ask her.", Ymir unwillingly said.

"It's fine, you free....", I was stopped mid sentence and Eren whispered to my ear, "You will regret this, just don't."

We all having a fun time at there, playing some mini games, chatting again and again. Connie and Sasha had leave early after their parents furiously call them to go back home.

Soon it's already late at night, we all decided to go home. Levi stayed to close the shop. Armin and the rest went the other way to go home. So eventually Eren and I went back the same route back home.

"So....Eren, why you say I will regret to hear Ymir's question?", I asked.

"Because she definitely going to ask about your crush, I'm being asked when the meeting of your birthday, it's terrible." Eren said.

I chuckled "Can't believe you are afraid of this, so my turn, who's your crush?", I asked with a smile on my face. His face immediately turned red and tried to not have eye contact with me.

"Not again, *sign* fine, don't tell anyone, okay? I trust you.", Eren said.

"Okay, I promise you."

"I'm gonna call her right now.", he pulled out his phone, searched his contact and dial the number.

I soon felt my phone started to ring.
"It's must be Levi, probably I forgot something right there.", I took out my phone and noticed the name that is display on my phone.

~Eren Yeager~

I soon picked up the call, we stood facing each other. My heartbeat started to speed up. His face is flushing red. I can felt my face slowly heat up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Mikasa."

"So I'm your crush, huh?"

"Yeah...."

"No wonder why you put this much effort on the preparation of my birthday party."

"That's right. So...can I ask you a question?"

"Go on."

"Will...you be my...girlfriend?"

After I heard that, I slowly put down my phone, grabbed Eren's T-shirt, pulled him closer. Our faces are inches away, I can felt his breath getting slower.

We both closed our eyes, tilted our head, moves closer and closer until our lips smashed into each other, his lips just like marshmallow, soft and yet powerful. I can immediately felt that he's kissing back, this feeling is so good, it's like a kind of drug that makes you want more of it.

Soon I wrapped my arm around his neck and I felt that he wrapped his arm my waist. Our kiss got deeper and deeper and suddenly the sky rained, we just stood right there, kissing on each other's lips, doesn't care about the rain. We soon parted and looked at each other faces.

"Hopefully this will prove it, I love you Eren.", I said.

"I love you Mikasa.", Eren said and we both hugged.

"Should we stay away from the rain, my clothes is kind of soaking wet right now.", I said.

"Yeah, we totally should.", we ran to a nearby storefront to avoid the rain and the owner of the shop kindly give us a piece of cloth to wipe away the rain on our body.

After that, we walked under the highway overpass to avoid the rain.

"Don't worry, I didn't forget to bring the umbrella.", Eren said. "Are you okay? you're shivering right now."

"Yeah, I'm fine.", I replied.

He quickly searched around the present bag and found the red scarf he gave me for present. Then he wrapped the scarf around my neck and I said, "I can do it myself."

"No, I'll help you. I will wrap this scarf around your neck as many as you want, from now till forever.", Eren said as he finished his scarf-wrapping moment.

"Thank you Eren.", I gave him a little kiss on his cheek and continued our journey to go back home.

Levi's POV

"Hoo...those kids finally leave the store, they're annoying as hell." Oluo said as he relaxed on a chair.

"Don't be so mean to them, they're just kids, right Levi?", Petra said.

"Yeah.", I accidentally let out a little smirk.

"Oh my gosh!!!!", Petra squealed.

"What!", I yelled.

"You can smile, I thought you never smile.", Petra said.

"Well, I'm still a human being, I have emotions too.", I said as I gave my biggest smile to them. "Is that enough for you?"

All of them just turned crazy after I smile.

"Oh my god, Levi's smile can cure cancer.", Oluo yelled.

"All of you just shut up and continue cleaning.", I commanded them.

"Yes sir!", they all replied.

Eren's POV

The rain had stopped, soon I reached Mikasa's house, she unlocked the door so I can get in to put down the present bag. Before I leave, I gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

"Goodbye, see you tomorrow.", I said.

"Goodbye Eren. You're the best birthday present of my life.", she replied.

I walked out of the gate, waved goodbye to Mikasa and I noticed Levi is standing outside looking at us. He walked past me, give me a pat on my shoulder.

"Good job, Yeager. I'm proud of you. Oh one thing, if you ever make her sad or heartbroken, I'll kill you.", Levi said.

"It will never happen, I promise.", I said as Levi gave me a smile and entered his house.

I lied on my bed, thinking back the sweet moment I have with Mikasa. "Finally she's my girlfriend.", I mumbled as I slowly drifted into my dream with happiness and satisfaction.
