Chapter Title: Chapter 3; That Night...
Ely's PoV
I stared at the boy in front of me, confused and shocked. "How did you get into my room?" I gasped, speaking lowly.

"The window is broken." He pointed to the window behind him. "Why does this rock say FREAK?" He held a rock in my face. I shoved his hand away, causing the rock to tumble away.

"Ely?" My mother tapped on my locked door. I glanced back worriedly. "Who are you talking to? And don't say no one!" She grumbled.

"You need to leave." I whispered harshly to him.

"You're the dog-girl..." He gasped, almost laughing. I tensed, glaring back at him. "Okay, jeez..." He muttered, leaving through the window quickly. "I'll see you later, I guess..." He mumbled. His curled tipped, Brown hair blocked his muddy brown eyes. He waved and quickly ran off, hding his hands in his pockets.

"Ely!" Mom screamed through the door, hitting it. "Open up!" She hissed. I opened the door quickly. I started st the ground as mom stormed in, looking around. She sniffed the air. And looked at me with her sharp, piercing golden eyes. "Who was in here?" She followed the smell to the window and looked around cautiously. I didn't answer. "Answer me, Ely!" She turned harshly, her pulled back silver fluffy 'coat' following.

"I don't know..." I mumbled back, unable to look up. She stormed over.

"You don't, know?!" She yelled. I winced.

"N-no..." I murmured.

"How do you not know?!" She was practically screaming.

"I- I just don't..." I whimpered.

"Done lie to me!"

"I don't!" I whined, sniffling. I felt more tears on the brink of escape.

"Don't you dare start with those water works!" She yelled, storming around. Glass crinkling on the hardwood floor. I couldn't help it, I was in tears. "That's it." She sighed, "you're grounded. Clean this up." She pointed st the glass and stormed out, shoving me slightly. I didn't say anything as I got the vacuum and made sure it was all gone. I vacuumed every surface in my room, just to be safe. I lightly tossed the rock into the yard.

I pushed the vacuum into the hall. My eyes slowly glance to Danny's room. Mom was sitting on his bed, hands hidden in her hair she was in tears and muttering about what she thought was going to happen. Danny was sitting besides her, rubbing her back. He glanced up seeing me, he now looked mad. I shuttered and slid into my room. Puppy followed after me, I closed the door and curled up on my bed, hiding in the corner. I curled my legs to hide my face. Puppy hoped up and curled up besides me.

"Don't be Sads sissy." Puppy whined. I gave her a weak smile, peeking over.

"I'm sorry, Puppy. I'll try not to be..." I swallowed the pain in my throat. Puppy licked my arm, jumping around now. I chuckled quietly. There was a rough knock on the door. Before I could reply Danny waltzed in.

"You made mom cry!" He hissed at me, pulling me up. I felt my heart beat increase quickly. He sighed softly. "I wish you guys wouldn't fight..." He mumbled, I felt him shaking. He slowly released and dropped me. "Man, today has been Shitty..." He grumbled.

"Freak!" The same girl screamed from outside. I felt myself getting angry. Danny quickly grabbed me when I tried to chase her. He flipped me over his shoulder and made me bounce around. I caught a glimpse of mom while I was laughing and being thrown around. Danny laughed while we bounced around. Mom quickly got him to stop, I was dizzy. He leaned over, slowly sliding me to my feet. Mom hugged us both tightly.

"You guys make it impossible to be mad..." She sniffled, grinning. "I guess we shouldn't let anyone judge us, huh?" Mom smiled weakly.

"Nah, mom." Danny agreed, grinning. His stomach grumbled, "can we have something to eat?" I laughed.

"Always thinking about food?" I continued to laugh.  My stomach also growled, making me blush awkwardly. "Yeah seriously, can we have food?" Danny laughed at that.

"Fine, fine." Mom smiled.

"I want food!" Puppy squealed. I glanced over at her with a huge grin.

"What do you guys-?" Mom started, I cut her off.

"Ramen!" I squealed.

"Yeah!" Danny agreed.

"What flavor-?" Mom started again.

"Chicken!" Puppy squealed. She started bouncing around. Mom chuckled, all of us kids were bouncing around excitedly. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I quickly checked it, just in case it was something actually important.

Instagram: car.mine.2469 (random username I made up) sent a photo.
What is this?!
How'd they get this?!
What?!

I hurriedly replied. Mom and Puppy went off to start dinner. Danny peeked over my shoulder. "Aw, is that you're little girl friend~?" He teased evilly.

I hesitated to reply, do I say his correct pronouns? I should... "She. He oh god, she?" I winced, confusing myself, "is not my 'mate' though, Carmine is my best friend." I hissed at him.

"She-he-she?" Danny questioned. I glanced around, what do I do? Does he want to come out to everyone... Ugh... I just shook my head and went to reply to Carmine.

Me: I dunno! Danny was DMed that and then a rock broke my window and people are calling me a freak and there was this boy. It's a really long story...
car.mine.2469: ?
Me: I'll explain tomorrow. How are you?
car.mine.2469: *shrugs* you?
I sighed softly.
Me: I'm okay, I guess. Given the situation. What's wrong?
car.mine.2469: they're fighting again, and blaming me... I just... I wanna cry so much, but I can't or I get yelled at more. I have to protect my siblings from this so they're watching tv in my room while I'm out here getting yelled at.
Me: Oh jeez... Do I need to come kick some booty? I hoped to get him to smile.
car.mine.2469: no...it's fine. Anything wrong with you?
Me: *awkwardly motions to broken window and picture*
car.mine.2469: right... Well... I'm sorry.
Me: It's not your fault, it's fine. You're fine. Everything is freaking fine. I huffed flopping on my bed.

"Dinner will be ready in like ten minutes." Danny peeked his he ad into my room, he had walked off a few minutes ago.

"Kay." I nodded, not looking at him. I was quickly replying to Carmine.

car.mine.2469: *hugs*
Me: *hugs tightly* it'll be okay...
car.mine.2469: yeah...
car.mine.2469: sent a photo. It was a picture of Markiplier and JackSepticEye. Sean was smacking Mark. I started laughing.
Me: "The ship is over, Jack!" I think that was the quote.
car.mine.2469: *gasps and smacks*
Me: XDDD! Ah man, you're the best.
car.mine.2469: nah
Me: Yah.
car.mine.2469: nope
Me: Yep! We started having a long battle of variate 'no's and 'yes's. Then Danny came back.

"Dinner's ready." He called onto my room and walked off. I was slowly standing while texting back.

Me: I'll be back. Dinner. Thank you for helping me feel better! I love you!
car.mine.2469: Awww okay... I love you too.
Me: Boi!
car.mine.2469: bye.

With that I went and ate dinner, which was excellent by the way. After I took the worlds 'fastest shower'. At least according to Carmine, then was forced to bed. Though, I was texting Carmine all night.

It was about three in the morning when I could barely stay awake anymore.
Me: Hey, Carmine? Is it cool with you if I try to sleep?  I'm really tired, but if you want me to stay I will!
car.mine.2469: Yeah! Go get some rest, I'll see you at school. I wuve Chu!
Me: I wuve Chu too! Noighty noight, sleep tight! Don't let the DEMONS (*coughs* me *coughs*) consume your soul ;3
car.mine.2469: XD okay! gn.
Me: Night.

That was the last messages we sent before I quickly fell asleep. My mind was completely black until I woke up to the radio the next morning.
