Part 2
I would like to say hank you for letting me use your OC Eclipsa to:
P.S. the pic is the new movie poster ^3^
Anyway, part 2
Peter's classmates were captivated by some of the projects Peter had scattered around his lab, things like; robotic pets for people with allergies, a watch-based AI for people with disabilities, a new arm for Bucky and a few flasks of web fluid prototypes.
Wait, those weren't supposed to be out, ah well maybe he could convince them he just worked with Spiderman.
Some of the students had noticed that half the room seemed to be locked and hidden away from sight, causing them to wonder what was there that was so secret, even Tony Stark had everything out in plain sight.
"Hey Shuri, do you think you can get my web fluid from the bench, it's still unstable and I don't want anything happening to it?"
"Sure thing Pete."
Shuri made a beeline for the fluid and just as she reached the bench a han reached out and snagged one of the flasks.
"Ok, Parker! What's this stuff!?"
Peter looked over to see his precious work being tossed into the air by non other than Flash.
"Please don't shake it LiKe tHaT!"
Peter's voice cracked and his spider-sense went off as all the eyes in the room followed the small flask flew up into the air and back down towards Flash's hands, they watched as Flash fumbled before dropping the flask of milky-white web fluid on the floor where it smashed.
By the time the commotion calmed down Flash was trapped under a net of web while the rest of the class slowly started pulling away from the walls where they had pressed themselves. Lauren, Tony and Karen where laughing at the disaster while Ned and MJ stood silently in the back, both silent for different reasons. Shuri stared at her science buddy before bursting out laughing.
"I am shooketh!"
She squealed, her accent making it only more hilarious. Peter just shook his head slowly before heading through a hidden door near the back of the lab.
"Get back here Parker! You can't leave me like this!"
Flash yelled in the direction that the young nerd had disappeared off to.
"As much as I would love to leave you, I don't think I would be able to stand seeing something this horrible every day."
Flash would've jumped if it weren't for the webs as Peter's calm voice came from the opposite direction to expected. Peter simply held up a spray bottle and sprayed the bully's web-covered form with a cool orange mixture.
The class watched in awe as the previously steel-hard webs began to dissolve and fall off Flash, leaving the now humiliated kid to slink quickly back over to the rest of the class.
"Karen, can you clean this up? I think we're just gonna move onto the questions now."
At the mention of questions half of the classes hands flew into the air.
Most of the questions were about what it was he actually did, others were about what just happened but Peter stalled when someone asked what was in the obscured case on the wall.
His friends knew that it was his spidey-suit but being the extremely supportive peers they were they decided to leave him to fend for himself, even Karen had deserted him.
"Well... you know how I work with the Avengers' equipment and stuff?"
There were a few nods around the room. Peter pulled a remote out of his pocket and pressed the spider button, causing the suit's display case to come into view.
"I'm working on some new updates for Spiderman's newest suit such as a tracking system and a vibranium defence system."
The class ooh'd and ahh'd at the high-tech suit in front of them.
(A/N this is set before infinity war so he doesn't have the iron spider yet)
"Downstairs you should've seen Spiderman's first, rather primitive, homemade suit. This is his most recent suit, originally created by Mr. Stark and now Shuri and I are adding some updates. The older suit was liable for hacking,"
A glare was shot in Ned's direction.
"So we had to get that sorted out."
Peter explained in what he, his dad, Shuri and Bruce would call Simpletonian, which meant no nerd words.
Flash's hand shot up, startling Peter a little. As much as he just wanted to leave his bully's hand stranded in the air but Shuri, not knowing who Flash was, pointed at him.
"Hey Peter, could you get me an internship here?"
"No Flash, I'm not in charge of who's hired and who's not. Now, does anyone have any reasonable questions?"
After explaining some more about the Spiderman suit, Karen and Spiderman himself someone noticed Peter's lightsaber.
"Dude, is that a lightsaber?"
"Yes!"
Shuri all but screamed, grabbing hers off het belt and igniting it. The class took a collective step away from the si-fi weapon wielding teen.
"Karen?"
"Yes sir?"
"One, please stop calling me sir, I have a name. Two, deploy a hard-light field around Shuri."
Soon enough the now slightly p*ssed Shuri was contained inside a cylinder of what appeared to be light. Although, when Shuri went to bang on it in an attempt to get Peter to release her her hands didn't slip through as they would with normal light.
"I swear to Loki, Peter, if you don't let me out this instant..."
She trailed off as the Spiderman theme started playing. Peter quickly pulled his phone out of his pocket, glanced at the caller ID befor making a swiping motion with two of his fingers, projecting an image onto a nearby wall.
The cockpit of a ship materialised containing three figures, each one a more crazy vision to the next.
"Hey Peter, we're sorry for calling when you're probably in class but ol' Stank wasn't picking up."
"It's fine Quill, why're you calling?"
"We got a little caught up in an asteroid field, and we won't be able to make it until tomorrow."
"Okay, I'll pass the message on."
"See ya Peter, have a good day."
"I'll try. See ya tomorrow Peter."
And with that the call ended.
"Umm, Peter, who was that?"
Miranda asked politely.
"Ah, just a bunch of space fools who call themselves the Guardians of the Galaxy."
After a short bit more discussion Wanda entered the lab and cut herself a path towards the three geniuses. The class watched as the four seemed to discuss before beckoning Lauren over.
Soon enough, Lauren turned back to the class before announcing that there were four very special guests arriving soon and that the class had been deemed well behaved enough to come out and meet them.
The class was ecstatic, the Scarlet Witch had just walked in on their, already interrupted, field trip and was now taking them to meet some, apparently, verjimportant people on level 69.
Flash wasn't sure how to feel about how the day had gone so far. His plan had been to prove that Peter Parker had been lying about his Stark internship and embarrass him in front of his class and, most importantly, his idols.
But then 8t turned out that he wasn't lying and even worse, the Avengers actually seemed to know him and treat him like they did one another, what was even up with that?
And to top it all off Flash new why he was so determined to prove Peter wrong, why he wanted to embarrass him, it was because he knew Peter was better than him he just wasn't ready to accept that.
Flash glanced over to his right, there was Parker, chatting it off with two Avengers and a princess.
Flash felt a rage build up inside him but worked to smother it, maybe he could just become friends with the nerd, that would surely get him close to Mr. Stark, his two pathetic friends got jobs here too after all.
Making an effort to listen in on their conversation Flash heard the words; gods, Stark, infinity, and Eclipsa.
Flash was still trying to figure out what the words meant when the lift slowed to a stop on level 69.
Lauren ushered the slightly hyper class out of the lift and into a large garden and told them to make themselves at home under the trees around the edges of the garden while they waited.
Peter and Shuri had brought their lightsabers with them and were now having a mini duel by the little waterfall that trickled over a collection of mossy stones at the far end of the garden.
The garden its self was a thing of beauty, from the wide range of trees that surrounded the clearing to the flowers that dotted the lawn, it was truely a garden fit for gods.
In the centre of the garden was a slight hill and on that hill a runic shape appeared to be burnt into the grass.
When someone asked what it was they were told to "just wait" much to their dissatisfaction.
After about a minute and a half thee was a crack of lightning from above despite the seemingly clear sky.
Then it was as if the light prison Shuri had been captured in in Peter's lab had been up sized and had placed over the rune on the hill.
When the light cleared the class were amazed to see two figures standing on the hill, one was noticeably male but the other was still to be determined.
It took enough time for the two to walk over to Mr. Stark for someone to recognise them.
"Oh my gosh! You're Thor, god of thunder, aren't you?"
Thor turned his head to observe Cindy.
"Indeed I am young Midgardian and this is my brother Loki, who might you be?"
"Cindy, Mr. Thor sir."
"Well then, Cindy, would you like to hold my hammer?"
With that, Thor held out Mijonir to a very scared Cindy who backed away slowly, shacking her head.
Thor just shrugged and placed it on a nearby rock.
"Would any of you other young Midgardians like to see if you are worthy?"
A majority of the class wanted to, so Mr. Harrington organised everyone who wanted to into a line.
One by one Peter's classmates walked up to the hammer and strained for a few seconds to lift the mighty Mijonir before giving up and going to join the very small group of students who wanted to try and lift it.
Lauren and Shuri had to agree that Flash's attempt was the most hilarious, the kid had walked up to the rock all macho style and had rolled his sleeves up before grasping the handle of the hammer and pulling with all his might.
After everyone (who wanted to) had had a go at lifting Mijonir Thor walked back over to the. Rock to retrieve his hammer.
Just on time too.
Because just then a portal opened over the hill from earlier and another two figures entered the garden through it.
The first was easily recognisable as Dr. Strange and his cloak who had been dubbed Nicholas by Peter.
The other however was female with fair skin and vivid purple hair, she had golden eyes and a light sprinkle of freckles on her cheeks. Her outfit consisted of a red top, a black jacket, black pants and a pair of combat boots.
The most distinguishing feature about her though was the fact that she seemed to have six stones embedded under her right eye.
The girl takes a moment to analyse her surroundings, her golden eyes flashing as they pass over Flash's face, until she sees Peter.
"Peter!"
"Hey Eclipsa."
Peter greeted the newcomer with a smile.
"I did't know you were coming today."
"I know, that's the idea of a surprise isn't it?"
Peter just sighs and turns to his class.
"Everyone, this is Eclipsa, she's from an alternate timeline, don't let what she says put you off."
As if on cue, Eclipsa pipes in with a.
"Hello guys, I'm sorry to the half of you will end up stuck with this guy."
With that she jabs her thumb towards Peter who responded with an offended expression.
After a few questions Lauren insists that the group need to move on if they plan to reach their final stop before the Q&A.
And with that Lauren managed to get the entire group, minus Tony and Thor, to troop back into the lift so that they could head down to level 42.
The lift trip was definitely more eventful then some of the others with Loki deciding half way down that he wanted to be a she and spooking the poops (Ya happy yet Spangles) out of Mr. Harrington, and Eclipsa choosing to make Flash's hair hot pink.
Finally, Flash still had pink hair, the group reached the desired level and lab where they found the one and only Pepper Stark holding a clipboard and looking every bit the goddess she was.
"Hello Midtown high, Mr. Harrington, Peter, Ned, MJ, Stephen, Eclipsa, Loki."
She said with a press smile, nodding respectively at each person as she said their names.
"I am Pepper Stark, CEO of Stark Industries because my husband is to lazy to deal with it himself."
There was a ripple of nervous chuckles from the class. Pepper just smiled and gestured behind her at the series of workbenches.
"Now, as eager as you all must be to get to the Q&A we have a special activity for you to participate in. You have two choices; you can reconstruct your own robot or have a go at creating some of Spiderman's webbing."
The class swapped looks, some exited, some not so, as Pepper started separating the class into two groups depending on what they wanted to try.
To Peter's surprise the class was almost evenly divided between the two projects, he, Ned and MJ had, of course, been asked to sit the activities out, seeing as they would ace them easily. The three chose instead to joke around at the back of the room with Loki and Shuri.
Twenty or so minutes later Pepper clawed for the class to stop what they were doing and step away from their benches.
Something Pepper had not told them was that once their time ran out their projects would be judged by Peter, Ned and MJ, who were non to thrilled about he idea.
So, while Ned and MJ began testing the prototype robots his classmates had made, Peter found himself loading flask after flask of amateur web fluid into a gun similar to that of a water pistol and firing strands of web. The webs were tested on strength, length, flexibility, and stickiness, the only webbing that had gotten anywhere near close to Peter's own was Abe's.
The winner of the robot competition was Cindy, she and Abe both got a selfie with Pepper, a chocolate bar and a place in F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s files incase they decided to work at Stark Industries.
Then Pepper called for attention so that she could explain the rules of the Q&A and answer any questions.
In the end it was Flash who asked about Spiderman.
"Will Spiderman be there?"
"I have no idea if he will be showing, we've left the decision to show up to him, seeing as he's the only Avenger who hasn't revealed their identity. But the offer is open for him to if he so desires."
Pepper's eyes flashed over to Peter, you'd have to have heightened senses, which Peter did, to catch it.
Peter felt a smile grace his lips before he was elbowed roughly in the side by Ned.
"Dude, did she just invite you to the Q&A as an Avenger?"
"Shut it loser, I'm trying to draw Flash's face."
MJ butted in over him causing both boys to look over at the rather disgruntled looking kid.
Pepper walked over to the trio.
"Now, as you three have probably asked all the questions you'd like before, you're welcome to head back to your labs and we'll get F.R.I.D.A.Y to let you know when your class has left."
At this the trio's faces split into grins before heading back to the private lift, chatting as they went. Peter's teacher however was not at ease with the current events.
"Excuse me Mrs. Stark, but I cannot allow them to leave the tour group."
"It's alright, I've spoken to their parents and they've deemed it fine to allow the three to stay on rather than have to walk back here after school finished."
Pepper responded with a chipper smile that failed to reach her eyes before leading the now fully hyped class into the panel room that had been decided apron earlier.
As the class walked into the expansive room they could see a long table in front of an Avengers backdrop at the far end of the room.
Then the Avengers walked in and the class fell silent in the presence of Ironman, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widdow, Hawkeye, Falcon, War Machine, Captain America, the Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch and Black Panther. Over to the side slightly was another table where Shuri and Loki were sitting.
Once she had the class settled, Pepper walked over to join the two unofficial Avengers at their table, passing Tony and giving him a kiss on the way.
Just as Tony stood to address the assembly in front of him a window on the left side of the room slid open and a rend and blue clad form flipped into the room.
"Am I too late?"
Spiderman joked as he sat down between Shuri and Loki.
"Your timing could be better. Anyway, as you know, we are the Avengers and they,"
Tony gestured towards the four seated off to the side.
"Aren't. Well, the spider is, technically. Now, questions, one at a time, raised hands."
Hey, hey, hey! Look at that, part 2 is here
