Nightmares P.O.V.

" Where are the keys ? " , asked the glitching monster.

" They're behind you ( screw the weird writing style ). " , I answered.

" Wait. Does that mean you could have grabbed them the entire time ?! " , he said while spinning towards the giantic key.

" Probably yes, but I've never tried. There used to be a forcefield, and it was really painfull upon contact. I tried taking them once, and I couldn't move for the next few weeks. " , that was a expierience that I didn't want to repeat, so I had never tried it again. Memories were flowing back, I must have been in trance for a while, since he already managed to get the key and somehow carry it over here, even if it normaly needed five scientists to do that. But I didn't care abou that, since I was to occupied with the rosty object in the skeleletons hands. I didn't now if they still worked, but just the idea of finally being free from this cell exited me greatly. Even if I didn't knew how many other room there were, I had seen multiple other doors, and I wanted to explore what laid behind each one of them.

Errors P.O.V.

The key was way to big, it seemed as if you would need multiple persons to lift it up. Maybe it was just for safety, but seriously ? What was the guy supposedto do ? He seemed harmless and shy at the moment, even if he looked rather scary, but I won't judge him by his appearence, it wasn't his fault after all. I learned to not judge by appearence, not just by an odd one, but also not by a nice one. You shouldn't just trust someone who looks trustworthy without a second thought, I had to learn that the hard way. Everybody can act, even your own family members.

My gaze wandered back to the key, I knew I would be able to lift it thanks to the souls, but wouldn't that seem suspicious ?

" And dying wasn't enough 'danger' for you ?! You're insufferable, you know that ? " , Fell interrupted.

" I wasn't finished. It's obvious that he's strong, so we could use him as a bodyguard of sorts, especially against Errors 'dad'. "

I didn't really care about the Voices right now, so I grabbed the key without their aggrement, carrying it over to the dark cell.
