"Hopefully I'll get to show Sofia more of my actual sketch book", Isabel said as she walked up the ramp to the boat. It was a simple statement but what she really meant by it was that hopefully nothing would go wrong! Not like it tended to in both Avalor and Enchancia.

"I'm sure she'd love that, Isa", Elena smiled.

"I'm also glad we're taking one of my dad's ships and not the carriage again", Naomi said. Partly because she loved boats, living on harbors her whole life, but also because since her father was Captaining said boat, she was all but First Mate. As proven by her hat.

Elena laughed at her friend, but nicely of course, "Yes, the Jaquins being busy really worked out for your father!" she said.

"And Cid and I won't feel like were might fall off and die at any moment!", Gabe joined in as the two guards walked by carrying another barrel of supplies for the trip and heading to set it down below. Gabriel Nunez was now Captain of the Guard, but it hadn't changed him and he still quickly volunteered to come help the princess out during her trip and still chose his humble neighbor from down the street to come along.

"So...who's acting Captain of the Guard if you come, though?", Naomi asked when the two came back up from below deck.

"Ah, we let Rico have his moment", Gabe said with a smile.

"You should have seen how quickly he jumped at the chance!", Cid grinned.

"Oh he will most certainly be going insane with power and need to be stopped and put in his place by the time we get back", Gabe jested.

"Gabe...", that was not so funny given how Avalorian situations seemed to go.

"Oh not really of course, I---apologize Princess", Gabe gave a bow. Elena laughed and sent him on his way.

"I think Isa will be proven right, this time, though", Elena commented, "and it should be an easy trip!".

"There's another ship in harbor...", Naomi commented, "and it's...pink". Ok, just the accents were pink, but still, it was clearly not an Enchancian ship.

"Huh? Well they seem none threatening, let's go say hello!", Elena was all set to play diplomat even amidst this visit to Enchancia.

"Um, Your Majesty...", Captain Turner had been glancing at the ship through his spy glass and lowered it to give the princess a puzzled look, "Do you...know them?". Everyone glanced to him. "There's a...young lady waving at you from deck", Captain Turner handed over the spyglass and Elena peered.

She gasped, "It's Princess Val! The ship's from Paraíso! Oh of course!".

"Pink, right!", Naomi got it too.

Gabe and Cid looked unsure. The other guard had only heard about Gabe's troubles with Manuel. As if reading the thoughts in her Captain of the Guard's head, Elena laughed as she handed the spyglass back to Captain Turner, "Oh Gabe, don't worry, Princess Valentina is much more humble now, don't you remember?".

Gabe made a noncommittal hum, before the party from Avalor descended the ramp, and in a seeming show of Good Will and proving what Elena had said, the party from Paraíso let them make their approach first.

"Princess Elena", King Roland gave a bow, "Greetings and apologize, I quite forgot I'd signed off on Paraíso visiting the same weekend as Avalor".

"Not a problem, King Roland, Princess Valentina and I are great friends", Elena assured, then turned a smile to Princess Val which seemed to give permission for her to come down from her own ships ramp, which she did in a hurry!

"Oh! Princess Elena, it is so good to see you again!", she all but twirled the other princess before stepping back, "and sorry, I didn't realize either that our little diplomatic trips coincided! Oh can you ever forgive me?"

Elena laughed, more humble now or not, Val was still a bit more over-dramatic than herself. "Oh, Val, it's no problem, at all! As allies we'll share this trip too".

Valentina laughed relieved, hugging Elena again, "Yes, we will!". She then faced the Enchancian Royals standing there and stepped up with a curtsy, "King Roland, thank-you ever so much for the invite. As good allies and friends with Avalor I am eager to have us be allies as well".

"Likewise and welcome, Princess Valentina", Roland bowed again, "and I'm pleased we could make this slight error in planning work. If you'll both follow us to our carriage we'll take you proper to the castle". With smiles, both parties prepared to do such, when Valentina paused, turning back.

"Manuel, where is Carlos? Go and get him, please", she added. Her own guard gave a slight sigh and bowed, walking back toward the ship.

"Carlos?", Elena asked, and Gabe looked puzzled after the other guard's look.

"Princess Valentina's young cousin, Lord Lorenzo's son; Carlos Lorenzo Tores. He was visiting for the weekend and so we brought him along...", Manuel turned back to Valentina, "do go on, Princess, I shall bring him along". Val nodded and lead Elena off after the Enchancians, her family following.

Gabe and Cid hung back with the other guard curiously. "Do you require help?", Cid joked. Manuel just sighed again and walked up the ramp, so once checking that it would be alright letting the party with Avalor go without them, the two followed.
