5} Got A Light?
"Sorry, Dove you're not going anywhere."
G! let go of my wrist as I looked back at him.
"Huh?"
G! pulled out a cigarette and flicked his lighter a few times until it lit. He leaned against the wall, "Well... how do I know you won't run off and tell other humans about us?"
"What?! No! I won't-"
"(Y/N), YOU'RE STAYING?! THAT'S WONDERFUL! OH... BUT, SANS WHAT ABOUT HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS?"
G! gave me a sideways look as to say, 'Well?'.
"Oh! No, you don't have to worry about that, I'm all alone."
"I assumed."
"SANS! WATCH YOUR WORDS! SORRY, (Y/N) HE... UM... HAS A HARD TIME SAYING WHAT HE REALLY MEANS."
"That's fine, I-"
"Great. Come on, Dove, time to get acquainted."
"O-okay!" I quickly agree. It wasn't like I enjoyed being alone, it was just... safer. Then again, I couldn't really get close to other humans.
G! nods towards the way he was heading and I followed after giving a smile and wave to Papyrus.
As I continued down the hallways with G! multiple questions plague my mind.
I don't feel like I'm getting the full story here... the second G! laid his um... 'eyes' on me he wanted me gone both in death than out of here.
Why the sudden change of... 'heart'?
I debated with myself on whether I should ask G! or not then decided to go for it.
"So... what's the real reason you're keeping me around?"
G!'s expression changed, but only for a second then I saw a wall come up around him.
"I already told you."
"But, that wasn't going to stop you before, why now?"
"..."
"That's fine. My name is (Y/N) by the way if you didn't catch that."
"..."
"But... something tells me you did. I'm surprised you didn't say much back there, leaving me to guess you already know about how Papyrus and I met."
"..."
"I see. What's your name? I noticed most monsters call you G!, but the ambassador and Papyrus called you Sans-"
G! stopped on a dime making me bump into him and fall on my butt. G! yanked me up by my arm, not in anyway gentle, and he didn't let go.
"Listen, Dove, you're staying here so I can keep an eye on you. Yes, I heard about you from Paps so..."
G!'s eyes dimmed as pure darkness showered his sockets, and his grip tightens, making me tense, "I know exactly how you treated him."
I was trembling and had fear written all over my face, which made G! smile and released me. I took a step back the moment I was out of his grip.
"But, you did apologize, so there's that... and lastly my full name is Gaster!Sans, you can call me G! or..." A flirtatious grin crossed his face as he threw his burnt-out cigarette to the side and took a step forward to me, grazed his cold bony finger on my jawline, and lifted it so he was looming over me. "You can call me to bed."
My face went beet red and I pulled back stepping away again. I knew full well he was just messing with me for his own amusement, but my heart started to speed up, all the same, I didn't have much experience with guys.
"G-G! is fine."
G! let out a devious laugh, then pulled out a new cigarette and was trying to light it, the lighter would spark, but not ignite.
"Good, any more questions, Dove?"
I almost shook my head 'no', but then a flash of Frisk curled up in bed through my mind.
"Has the ambassador been sick all these years?"
G!'s thumb stopped trying to light the cigarette and he almost seemed surprised at my question.
His eyes were dull and he turned his head away.
"...yeah."
My instincts told me not the press the matter so I dropped it for the time being. I put my hands in my pocket and grab the item that I was looking for and threw it at G!'s back head. He didn't even look and caught it.
"Already trying to get on my bad side?"
G! smirked as if he had foiled my plan, but it was just the opposite. I returned with a grin of my own.
I knew he would catch it call it... intuition.
"You might want to check what's in your hand before you make wild accusations."
G! raised his non-existing eyebrow and unclenched his hand. A smile formed on his...um teeth.
"Thanks, Dove." G! put his lighter away and flipped open my lucky Zippo lighter I got from my dad setting fire to his cancer stick that settled between his mouth/teeth.
He placed the lighter back in my hands with a wink and continued forward.
We walked past the exit and into what I assumed was the living area cause it was the way MK came into the... um... safe house? I think that's what I'll call it.
G! stood in front of me as we walked in, no one seemed to notice... but being surrounded by all these monsters put me on edge. Only, because I knew, now more than ever, that monsters aren't exactly friendly towards humans. I figured I have been patient enough and wanted to put my hood back on my head, but I decide to resist the temptation.
"And then a fat big old human started chasing me all the way to the forest, yo!"
It seems like we came in the perfect time to hear about MK's adventure on the surface.
"He even kicked me to the ground and I screamed out in pain dropping the supplies! What a meanie butt!"
There were a few gasps from the crowd of monsters followed by multiple questions of 'if he was okay' and 'what happened next.'
"I'm cool man! Then this dude swung down out of nowhere and kicked the fat fart right on his back! And before he could do anything they hit him in the neck causing him to blackout, yo!"
Once again more 'ooo' and worry gasps from the crowd encouraging MK to continue.
"But, the dude was like total chill and help saved me, yo!! They're a hero!! It was totally cool! And everyone who usually encounters them calls them by one name and one name only..." MK pauses for dramatic effect, "The Sandman."
"WHAT?!?!?!"
The crowd was in a big uproar, random voices began to shout out.
"Isn't 'The Sandman' human?!"
"I hear they brought down 20 men at once!"
That a bit-
"I heard they always travel alone because of how hideous they are!"
Okay, ouch-
"I heard that they will put down any other human in their path!"
This is-
"I heard their eyes can turn anyone into stone!"
Wow, okay-
"I heard they'll kill any monster they meet!"
My interns actually hurt as the last monster yelled blindly, making my mouth move faster than my brain.
"THAT'S NOT TRUE!"
The room went silent and everyone turned towards G! who was still blocking me. I looked down cursing my big mouth.
