"You stupid monster! Why don't you go back to the underground where you belong!"

A group of boys pushed me into the mud while they took turns kicking me. One even spat on me, telling me I was no better than the dirt I was in.

First people treated me with fear, but when the monsters surface they thought they understood what I was and treated me with hate. I could feel the bruises starting to form along my body. My vision started to fade as they keep it up kick, kick, kick, kick...

Then he came.

"HUMANS! THAT'S NOT VERY NICE."

Everyone was startled by the new loud and unsettling voice to our tiny ears. We all froze and slowly looked up to see a tall loud skeleton dress in some type of battle-ready armor. From our point of view, he was terrifying, leaning over us.

"Ahhh!! Monster!!"

After one yelled out, the boys all scattered in different directions. The skeleton look confused for a moment then offered me a hand to help me up... I slapped it way.

"I don't need help from a filthy monster!"

I picked myself up and started to walk away, but the skeleton ran up to me.

"FEAR NOT HUMAN! I TOOK A SHOWER JUST THIS MORNING!"

I rolled my eyes, trying to walk faster.

"WHERE DID YOUR FRIENDS GO? WHY DID YOU FIGHT?"

I was getting more and more pissed at this skeleton's way of thinking, he sounds like a kid. Does he even know what bullying is?!

"They're not my friends. I hate them. I hate everybody. Damn them!! Damn monsters!! And damn these grey eyes!!!

"IT'S OKAY HUMAN! I'LL HELP YOU MAKE FRIENDS, I HAD A HARD TIME WITH IT TOO! MY BROTHER HELPED ME SAYING, 'YOU CAN'T ALWAYS WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHERS SAY!' I LIKE YOUR EYES THEY'RE UNIQUE"

I stopped on a dime and looking forward stunned by his words.

"ARE YOU OKAY? HUMAN?"

I held my hand to my head hating this skeleton more and more. All I wanted was to be left alone... but he wouldn't budge.

"Ugh! Yes, just peachy! They do this every freakin day. And now I'm just going to get hit harder because you had to interfere!! Saying stupid stuff like,' Calling your own kind to save you?'"

"'OWN KIND?' OH! WORRY NOT HUMAN! I KNOW YOU ARE IN FACT A HUMAN!"

I looked up and glared at the tall skeleton. I had enough.

"That's not what I meant! Gosh!! Are you an idiot?!?!"

I must have hit a nerve because the skeleton looked as if I actually inflicted pain on him. It made me feel bad, so I tried to run from it until a bone hand was wrapped around my arm.

"...WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING A MONSTER? THE COOLEST SOULS I KNOW ARE MONSTERS, LIKE MYSELF AND MY BROTHER SANS AND MANY OTHERS! NOT SAYING HUMANS AREN'T COOL!! I KNOW PLENTY! OKAY, I ONLY KNOW ONE, BUT!! THAT'S BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW YOUR NAME."

I really really want to punch this guy, but as soon as my anger flared up it died down when I looked into his honest, kind eyes.

"Why... why are you so nice?"

"WHAT A SILLY QUESTION! I'M NICE BECAUSE THERE IS GOOD IN EVERYBODY IF YOU GIVE THEM A HELPING HAND."

I felt a warm feeling in my chest and it scared me. I pulled my arm out of his grip and looked down.

"What...what if I'm afraid?"

"MY BROTHER ONCE TOLD ME, 'SO MUCH OF THIS WORLD IS ONLY FRIGHTENING BECAUSE WE DON'T UNDERSTAND IT.' MAYBE, YOU LIKE SOME HELP?"

The skeleton held out his hand before me. I very hesitantly raise my hand to meet his. It was shaking. As soon as our hands' touch, a peaceful feeling fill my body causing me to let out a giggle, even though tears ran down my face.

"(Y/N). My name is (Y/N) (L/N)."

"WONDERFUL! NICE TO MEET YOU (Y/N)!! I'M THE GREAT-"

BLAM!

I jumped at the noise, not sure knowing what caused it. But, I had a strong feeling something was wrong... oh how right I was. I quickly wipe off my face.

"I-i have to get home!" I ran off leaving the skeleton in a daze. When I glanced back he was smiling and waving me goodbye.

"After that, the bombs started falling and I never saw him again."

I sighed and look up at Frisk and Asriel as I finished my story to see they both had big grins across their faces.

"W-what? Do you know him?!"

"Yeah! That's-"

Frisk pulled on Asriel cutting him off much to my disappointment.

'Wait. I have a question first. In the story, you said you had grey eyes, but you clearly have blue eyes.'

"Oh... well that's one I can't really explain. After meeting the skeleton my eyes turn the deep blue you see before you. I don't really know why or how... I always wondered though."

Frisk's grin widens as if she had the answers to all my questions. But, she started to sign before I could say anything.

'The skeleton's name is Papyrus.'

"*Gasp!* Is he okay?! Do you know where I can find him?!"

'Actually he-'

Frisk stopped signing as there was a knock of warning at the door then someone(s) walking in.

"E-excuse me, Frisk. G! and I are here to-"

A yellow dinosaur type lizard monster dropped a tray of what look to be medicine on the ground shattering it when her eyes glued on me. Behind her, a skeleton monster... he looked a lot like Papyrus in a way. He was tall and his skull shaping was similar, but he wore baggy jeans, with a half leather jacket, under that a long grey turtle neck. And... he had two scars along his skull one above his left eye leading straight up then the other below his right eye leading straight down into his 'smile'.
Oh! And he didn't look nice. At all.

Before I could do anything his right eye glowed yellow, as he slammed me against the wall somehow with his magic. I could faintly see a yellow haze that gripped around me, choking me.

"G! stop!!" Asriel grabbed onto G!, G! was surprise at Asriel's actions and pushed him away, but I could tell he didn't do it that hard.

"Are you crazy?! She is a human!"

When G! said the word 'human' his magic gripped on me making me squeak out in pain. I couldn't breathe at this point and everything was starting to go black.

"She is the one that saved MK! She is nice like Frisk!"

G! magic pressure lessened and then he sighed letting it dissolve completely, causing me to fall to the ground.

"*Cough**Cough**Cough*!!!" I held my hand to my throat as my lungs tried so desperately to get oxygen flow in my body.

"I'll only give you my mercy this once, now leave." G! voice was low and filled with hate.

I failed to try to stand to my feet the first time. I took a deep breath in, then stood my ground. My legs were shaking badly, but I looked G! in the eyes.

"No."

G! flashed right before my eyes and slam his hand next to my face making me flinch, but... I can't give up! I'm so close.

"You want to try that again, Dove?"

"I-i'm not leaving until I see Papyrus," I said trying to sound strong, knowing full well I probably don't.

G! slid his hand under my chin and pulled my head up so I was looking into his dark black eye sockets. I would be a damn liar if I said I wasn't scared.

"And tell me, what do you want with my brother?"

Everything finally clicked, this was Papyrus' brother and this is the 'cool monster' he was so proud of. I mean I guess from a monster's point of view, it would look pretty cool seeing him scare the crap out of the human a.k.a me. I tried my best to hold on.

"I n-need to see that he is okay."

G! laugh and a smirk spread across his face. He stepped back and lit a cigarette then gave me a look of pure disgust.

"Why would you care?"

I knew exactly what he meant, why would I, a human, care about a monster.

"... he saved me." I stepped closer to G! pleading to him. "Please! Please!! Just let me meet him once again, then I'll leave forever!! I promise."

"Pfft, how do I know you're not lying?"

After nothing but silence from the others, Asriel spoke though, "She is telling the truth G! She told me and Frisk the whole story. She even risked her life coming here just to find out who Papyrus is."

Frisk clapped getting everyone's attention, then looked at straight G!

'It's true, Sans. And you know it. Her soul wouldn't tell a lie and wouldn't break a promise.'

Frisk seemed upset with G! actions like he knew more than he let on. But, I was sure I read that right, but I didn't understand what she was talking about.

"What do you-"

G! push me against the wall and slammed both of his hands on the wall, silencing me.

"So I'll take you to Paps, you say your 'hellos', then you never come back?"

I quickly nod my head up and down.

"Ugh! I can't believe I'm doing this. Fine, I guess I could do you this favor for saving MK, I don't want to own a human anything anyway. Come on."

G! grabbed my arm, tightly might I add, I'll definitely have a bruise on my arm later. He then dragged me out the room leaving everyone else astonished, pulling me down the halls.
