Chapter 67: "See You Later"
Funtime Freddy's P.O.V
"Alright, that should be everything. The devices are with the EMP Device in the back, everyone went to the bathroom, and we're ready to probably walk to our graves," said Helpy. "You could've just said we're ready," noted Bonnie. "Then it's settled. This is it. Tonight we decide the fate of this world," said Mangle. "It's in our hands. Better hope it's our hands that was a good choice," said Helpy. "No point in doubting whether we're suitable for the job or not. We've decided we're doing this and there's no turning back for us now," I said. "Where the hell is Henry? Is he really not to going to send us off with his thanks?" asked Helpy. "He said he was finishing off his last thing he was building for us. He told all of us, remember after, we all ate?" I responded. "Yeah that was two hours ago. He didn't show up when some of you were using Duality for whatever the hell, and he still don't show up when we trained after for a little bit," expressed Helpy. "I would calculate he should be here in a minute and thirty-four seconds," said Duality on the computer. "I spoke with him about half an hour ago about my idea I talked with all of you. I couldn't see what he was building, but from the quick look I got it looked like a drone, and a big one at that," I said. "Drone? What?" asked Bonnie. "Yeah, I don't think any of us here know what that is," said Michael speaking for everyone. "Of course not since you kinda missed a lot of things that were made during your absence. It's like a device that fly arounds that has a camera on it. Guess it could be used to survey the pizzeria for intelligence, but that's all I can think of what he's using it for. Knowing Henry, there's is a twist like every creation he's made," said Helpy. "At least he agreed to your idea," said Bonnie. "Are all of you sure you're ok with it? We're not really going to actually have a heaven, but create an illusion for us. One for our memories," I said. "I believe after all we've done, we at least deserve one. Every single one of us, and those apart of Freddy Fazbear's," responded Michael. "We've all agreed to it man. If we all go out, at least apart of us will get a heaven. That's good enough for me," said Helpy. The door that lead into the house opened as Henry stepped inside the garage now, closing the door behind him. "What the fuck! That drone has a minigun! You had one this whole time!? How the hell did you even obtain what?! Let alone how did you afford it!?" exclaimed Helpy who noticed it in his hands. "I bought it a month ago. I had planned on attaching it to a drone as it seemed more better than one of you carrying it around in battle. I had to design a drone from scratch just so it could work since just buying a small one would not be enough to hold a minigun on its own. Thankfully I've finished it, which Freddy's team can use for there mission and beyond that," said Henry as he walked on over to the car and placed it inside at the back of the trunk. "I had Duality's systems upgrade so he can control the drone in battle, it should be enough." "So then that's it finally. No more gadgets. That'll be odd for you, I'm sure of that," said Helpy. "It will yes. However I've done my part now, and now the rest of you are left to do the same. Also, you'll be needing this," said Henry as he reached for under his shirt. He pulled out a gun, though more specifically a type 54 as he held it in front of Helpy. "Almost forgot about that. Too late though I got powers, remember? I can defend myself properly," responded Helpy. "Maybe. However I still want you to have it, just in case. Also it's an option for taking William's life," responded Henry. "You want us to use it to take his life?" asked Bonnie. "If you choose to. I assume Michael hasn't really thought about how he wants to end his father's life. Like I said you can use that as an option, or your powers, however you choose to do so. You're not obligated to do so if you don't want to, but just a choice if you want to take his life that way," said Henry. "Yeah, it's not my first choice. We'll see what happens," responded Michael. "I thought so. Still, keep it. Just in case. So hold onto it Helpy," said Henry. "You're really trusting him to hold a gun? Out of all of us?" asked Bon Bon. "I am. Is that a problem to you?" responded Henry. "I'm just saying there are better options," said Bon Bon. "I'll take good care of it the best I can. I promise you," responded Helpy as he took the gun from Henry's hand. "I only have three clips for it, excluding the one already loaded with the gun, which gives you eighteen shots. Use them well," said Henry. "So then. That's everything. It's almost time to leave," I said. "Indeed. The long awaited day is finally here, and the night you'll save this world," said Henry. "So then? You got a speech for us Freddy? It's kinda tradition at this point and we are going off to battle. Are you going to leave us hanging?" asked Helpy. "Eh, do you really need one?" I asked. "He is right Freddy. I think we could all use one last glorious speech," said Foxy in agreement. "See? Not just me. Anyone else?" said Helpy. "I think one last one would be proper," said Michael. "I think as the leader everyone here could use them words of encouragement," said Mangle. "Hell, why not?" said Bon Bon. "Yes, I think you should give one last speech, for all of us," said Charlie. "You got my vote on this," said Bonnie. "I'm counting myself on this one to say to just give us the speech already," said Duality chiming in. "If it would help, I agree with everyone here," said Henry. "Alright, alright! All your wishes are heard! If all of you are demanding one, then I'll gladly deliver," I responded. I cleared my throat as I got ready to speak, as everyone waited patiently for me to start. "Yesterday was a good day. Maybe the best day for all of us. Now comes today, the day where the fate of this world and it's people are in our hands. We decide their fate, and we decide ours. Almost half a century of war that has brought upon so much loss and tragedy to everything it has touched, not a sign of the sun rising. Now that sun may rise, and that darkness that has lingered around for so long may finally be swept away by the light. Finally we are at the end of this conflict, after everyone we've lost and the many sacrifices made to get here we decide how this ends. Let us never forget them and what they meant to us, and ensure we make them proud by finishing this war. We couldn't have reached this point without all of you and what you've done for this cause. For all the different places some of us are from and our differences amongst each other, I am so happy to have met every single of you. The time we spent just showed the unlikely form of a family made up of all of us, and one I would not trade for any other. Without all of you and all you've done, maybe I wouldn't have continued on. I'm thankful for that. Just like me all of you had the choice of walking away from this conflict, even if we were drawn to it and clear it would happen eventually. All of you chose to be apart of this fight and end this once and for all. We gave up our future, and possibly any chance of having one if we do survive. All to save this world and the human race. If we fall, so be it. All we ask of this world is to learn and be prepared for someone like William; somewhere in this world there may be people just like him. Or eventually someone like him will be made into this world. We've had interesting lives that can't compare to some, especially the responsibility we were given. However we do the most important job no one else can do, not because they can't but because they don't have the power to. That job will be complete, and whether the people like us or not, we did it for them. I have no idea who'll come out on top. None of us do. Not even William. Regardless we're going to do everything in our power to save this world, no matter what. That's all that matters. So lets finish this, once and for all. May we all find true happiness," I said. Helpy started to clap, as everyone turned to him before they all did the same. I was appalled by how much I had inspired them, or what I meant to them. They viewed me as a voice of reason, an inspiration they can look up to and follow. To them I was a symbol that represented the value of all life and the innocent. Yet they still saw me as one of them. Not just a symbol they can could carve into their chest, but a symbol they can distinguish between an idea and a being just wanting to do what was right. That was why they were the best family I could have, and I couldn't be more happy to be finishing this war with them standing at my side.
"You seemed to have inspire them once again," said Henry. "Well, they asked and I delivered," I responded. "I guess this is it then. This might be the last time we see each other." "Indeed. The time spend with you and your friends has been peculiar if I do say so. However I have also learned so much from you and your friends during that time. Especially you Freddy. You convinced me to share your story and everything that has happened to Freddy Fazbear's for so long now when I thought it was best to hide the truth from everyone. I was almost going down the same route as William, in a way. So I thank you for that," said Henry. "So then what happens to you?" asked Helpy approaching him. "You tell the world and everyone everything that has happened? How are you going to do that? What happens after that? Whether we do survive or not?" "Well... When William is killed I'll shut down Fazbear Entertainment for good and everything tied to it or the name Freddy Fazbear. Each location still standing or in ruin will be demolished and removed, never to be remembered or anything left that is a reminder of the franchise. That goes for the last Freddy Fazbear's William is at. I'll go to the police afterwards with everything that has happened with over the course of almost fifty years, with proof of course, as well, I had Duality send to my laptop already," said Henry. "So what if that isn't enough? I mean, if Michael or none of us live how the hell do you testify words without the actual witnesses? They might not believe you or you'll probably end up in prison for knowing William's intentions, even if he would kill you if you did try to tell someone. Or nothing will happen and everything will be forgotten about," said Helpy. "Perhaps. Who's know what will happen. The people will decide what to do with such a truth and reality. If I end up in prison for this, so be it. I've done my part finally, and... I could use a long break. Heh. Maybe I'll just retire. I got nothing else planed for the rest of my life," responded Henry. "Wait, what about the car then? Thing might not make it back," said Helpy. "I'll just a used one. I never used that SUV much anyways," responded Henry. "Huh. If you say so," said Helpy as Henry walked on over to the laptop where Duality was. "I'm just happy to have contributed to stopping William and to be here at the end. It's time to finally say goodbye this war and William, and to all of you... Are you ready Duality?" said Henry "I am. And Henry. I'm glad you were my creator," said Duality. "You were one of my best creations. Not the best. I have two I hold over you. I hope you don't take that personally," responded Henry looking over at Helpy and Charlie. "No, I don't. They're definitely your finest. Goodbye Henry," said Duality. Henry unplugged the flash drive from the computer, as Duality's face disappeared off of the computer screen. Henry walked back over to us as he stopped in front Charlie. "Charlie... I'm... I'm glad we got a chance to see each other again. For one ne last time," said Henry. Charlie instantly hugged him, as he held onto her tightly. I couldn't help but smile, especially everyone else to see their goodbye. However it felt like she would not be returning from this conflict, and maybe they both knew that. "Just remember what I told you Charlie," said Henry. "I know. I will. Goodbye dad," responded Charlie. "Goodbye Charlie," responded Henry, who seemed to be holding back his tears. He turned to face Helpy, as he knelt down to get on his level. "Helpy... I'm glad I built you. I'm proud you found a place with Freddy and his group. Just... remember what I taught you," said Henry. "Hah. Course now's the time you gotta be sentimental," said Helpy chuckling. Suddenly I noticed a tear fall down Helpy's face as he stared straight at Henry, all to convey his following words. "I'll make you proud." "You already have. So continue to do so and don't stop," responded Henry getting back up now as we walked on over to Michael. "Heh. To think you were supposed to be the one I was trying to kill, and next thing you know you saved me and everyone else to work alongside you. Funny how things work," expressed Michael. "Indeed. Fate has a thing for bringing those together. Just like it did to us," responded Henry. "Well, thanks. Again. For saving me and everyone else. For doing all that you could. When we finish this fight, we'll be doing this not only for everyone but for you as well. We won't forget you Henry," responded Michael. "And I won't forget you and your friends. Goodbye Michael," said Henry holding out his hand for Michael to shake. "Goodbye Henry," responded Michael and he shook his hand back. He walked on over to me and stopped in front of me, ready to end it off. "This is it Freddy. Tonight you lead everyone to finish this war and stop William and his plans. It's all down to you and your team. Finish this once and for all," said Henry as he handed me the flash drive for Duality. "Take care of Duality, as well as the rest of your team. Especially yourself." He held out his hand for me to shake, as I raised my other hand that was free to do so. "Thanks. You take care of yourself. And thanks for everything. We won't forget you and what you've done for us. See you later," I said. "I was expecting a 'goodbye' instead of that," responded Henry confused on that. "Well. If we don't make it back we won't really be gone. You know that. People live on through the memories you have in your heart, never to forget them. As long as you do that, no one will every truly be gone. You stop to think about something else the memory is gone for a while, but when you remember it the memory is back like it said it would be," I explained. "Hmm. I guess so," chucked Henry. "See you later then. All of you." "Alright, it's time. Let's do this. You ready Freddy?" asked Mangle. "Ready," I answered. We all made our way into the car, as everyone opened the car door. Helpy, Bon Bon, and I climbed into the back trunk area of the car. "Ah, of course I'm stuck in the back! There's barely any room with all the gadgets and the huge EMP device!" complained Bon Bon. "Yeah, you think I also don't like this either. Whatever," responded Helpy. Henry closed the door behind us as he walked on over to the button on the wall to open the garage door. "We all ready?" asked Michael. "No. But we gotta do what we gotta do. Let's do this," responded Helpy. Michael slid the window down and give a thumbs up to Henry, signaling to him to press the button. Henry did so as the garage door slid all the way up, as I turned to look at him. He give me one finally nod, his own "see you later," as I nodded back. Still, it really did feel like this would be the last time I would see him again. With the garage door fully opened Michael started the ignition of the car and drove down the driveway, making it onto the street. The garage door slowly closed as I could still see Henry standing inside of it, until finally the garage door fully closed to hide the sight of Henry. I looked away from the house as we drove through the neighborhood, ready to focus my attention on the battle ahead. Finally William was going to understand that his sins and actions had finally caught up to him, especially for him to finally face the consequences for all he's done. Tonight was William's judgment day, though he would find no salvation or redemption. Only damnation.
