Chapter 45: Inner Bounded Self

Springtrap's P.O.V

"Why can't we let him wither away? Why can't I have the chance to redeem my actions?" I asked. "Is this really the way to achieve that?" asked Fredbear next to me as the others were waiting for Golden Freddy to wake up. "How else will I find peace? I feel like I have to live with my sins and the people who were apart of their own sins I contributed towards," I responded. "You'll have your chance to fix everything. You might just be already on the path to redemption," said Fredbear. "Yeah. But how far along it am I?" I asked. "I think he's starting to wake up," said Bonnie with the others. Me and Fredbear turned around as we walked towards the others. We both went in the space the others provided for us as we witnessed the re-awakening of a disciple of Satan. "W-What if he tries to harm us?" asked RXQ concerned. "Then I'll show that #$%&#$%& my congrats for what he did," I responded. "What did he do?" asked Bonnie. Suddenly, all of our attention was diverted to Golden Freddy waking up as he looked around observing his surroundings. "Can he talk?" asked Bonnie. "We're about to find out," said Mangle looking at him. "You ok? We're friends." His lifeless look was always hard to comprehend his thoughts and feelings, though it was never hard to unravel what he didn't speak. "He can't speak. Good enough for me," I said. "What's your problem with him?" asked Bonnie looking at me. "Nothing!" I exclaimed turning away. "Can you understand us? Do you speak Spanish?" asked Springbonnie to Golden Freddy while speaking slowly. "That persuasion is ineligible to use when it is useless," said Fredbear. "M-Maybe we should just leave him," suggested RXQ. "We're not going to leave an animatronic behind. He's still one of us," said Mangle. "Can you understand us?" asked Fredbear to Golden Freddy to him. Golden Freddy nodded slowly, giving us the green light that he could understand us. "He understands us, but he's not saying anything," said Bonnie. "Probably damaged his voice box. Kinda like how mine almost got damaged when I was engaged in battle before I got glitched," said Springbonnie. "Or he rather choose to be the silent type," said Fredbear. "Typical. Always was one anyways," I said. "Springtrap is something wrong you need to share with us?" asked Mangle turning to face me. "We can't trust him," I responded. "What! Bro! We trust anyone that shows trust in us. And to me he seems to hold trust in his hands," said Toy Bonnie. "Fair point. But we'll have to see in time," responded Mangle as she turned to face Golden Freddy. "We're friends here, and I hope to see the same in return from you. The things that took your freedom and will away are the ones responsible for attempting to recreate this world into their own image. And we're here to keep our world the same. The way it always should be and stay that way. If you help us we can offer friendship, and the same we hope to get in return. All we ask is will you oblige?" The expressionless face Golden Freddy gave back always lead me to questions of what his response to be. I could say myself it is hard for others to pass through my protected mind of mystery. Yet, Golden Freddy was the definition of an enclosed mind. He nodded in responded as Mangle stuck her hand out for him to take, as he grabbed it. They both now held the trust that would be trusted within them. And I was the overseer. "Now how about we finish our trip exploring this place shall we?" asked Mangle. "Because we're heading deeper into the belly of the behemoth."

"I expected more of these things bro. Foxy would go crazy if we saw the amount of these things," said Toy Bonnie as he picked up the head of the Tangle we had just defeated. "How long have we been searching for?" asked Bonnie. "Probably longer than when we're going to get glitched," said Springbonnie. "And still no signs of that last clock," I said softy looking around. "C'mon. Let's move on. We still have a portion of this place to cover," said Mangle as she walked ahead as the rest of us followed. "You seem distracted," said Fredbear behind me as he walked beside me. "Aren't I always," I responded not turning to look at him. "Well, more than usual to rephrase that," he responded. "I'm tired of this. I can't deal with the humility of not giving myself peace and justice, just by not being able to kill William," I responded. "All that time my life was a lie. Everything these animatronics know about me is a lie. For once, I feel... connected to them. Just like how I was to me old group." "They're growing on you," said Fredbear. "Yeah. I never expected to. Bonnie, Springbonnie... Mangle," I said as I looked at Mangle when I spoke her name. "But when I look at RXQ and Golden Freddy, all I can think is how god damn easy it can be. How it can be over and done with and I can carry the satisfaction knowing I could have some peace. But then I look at RXQ. How he holds fear. Something the whole franchise was built upon, just taking each tiny twig, a vulnerable object crafted into an invincible structure that can have so much power. And then I look at Golden Freddy. The innocence in him. Something the pizzerias was made to attract for service. And all those children are built on innocence." "You can't destroy them," said Fredbear. "No. I mentally and physically can't. Not these versions," I responded as our team walked around a corner. "All I want to do is kill William. Once and for all. But here I'm am. Trapped in a prison made up of my sins, while I let my father run around and do whatever he's doing now. And my friends are missing in action." "So, then what do you plan to do next?" asked Fredbear. "I have to release my inner self that was bounded by this demon in me. Purple Guy. And so I must do what I should have done long ago," I responded. "I have to destroy this demon in me. I have to defeat myself."
