Chapter 20: Back once again

Funtime Freddy's P.O.V

"Alright, let's head in," commanded Springtrap. "It doesn't bother you that the side door is locked?" I asked. "I've been here before," he responded. "What he means is that he and Mangle visited this place before they found you and the others," clarified Shadow Freddy. "Oh," I responded feeling kinda dumb for jumping to that conclusion. "It's fine. Always observing reveals the answer to you," said Shadow Freddy. "Let's get inside already, we're wasting time," said Springtrap. We walked inside, leaving us to stand outside dumbstruck. "He still hasn't gotten over it," pointed out Bon Bon. "Yeah I knew dipshit. Let's just hope he doesn't hold that grudge for the rest of the time," I said. We all walked inside as I started to observe the place. The place felt a little bit different compared to the previous location. That one felt dark, a place shadowed by dread and it's unforgiving sins that never left. This one felt it actually had life... somewhat. It still carried the past with it, but partly. "So... this was the location you were at?" I asked Mangle. "Yes... it was," her response felt like she wanted to hold it back. It felt like she didn't want to be back here, to be back home. She wanted to forget this place, but she couldn't; you never could. The mistakes people made come back one way or another; it always did. Just like Springtrap in a way. I guess I could understand why she wanted to forget her home, but I guess that was Springtrap's job to help her with that. I could see him being her source of answer for help. "So where do we start?" I asked. "Anywhere. I don't care where, just look everywhere," answered Springtrap with a angry tone, while not even looking at any of us. "C'mon Mangle and Shadow Freddy." "I feel obligated to go with them for right now," responded Shadow Freddy. Springtrap actually turned around and faced Shadow Freddy, with a dark nondetachable gaze. Just him and us standing in the middle of the main room, alone with the silence that held on to this place with it's almighty power made it unsettling. "Whatever!" He and Mangle walked away, releasing the fear that gripped on us to the ground. Well... except me, I didn't have fear in me, I only gathered it. Showing that fear was the thing that was nonexistent to me. Not at all. "I wish I could help you, but I feel as my actions would only disrupt the situation, thus erupting more tension between their group," said Shadow Freddy. "It's understandable, but if this keeps going on for any longer, then we may have more than one problem," I responded. "What do you propose we do in the mean time then?" "Well, we can let him cool off for a while. If that doesn't work, then we'll have to take drastic measures," suggested Shadow Freddy. "And by that I mean we'll have to talk with him about it." "I'm getting the feeling you're trying to imply it won't be a pleasant talk," said Foxy. "I am," he responded. "Well let's worry about that later, let's get searching," I said. "Let's check where Puppet's old box is," said Golden Freddy while walking over to a box. "That's a weird box," pointed out Bon Bon. "It's supposed to be pertained to a jack-in-the-box," I said. "If you even know what it is." "No I don't. We're not smart like you!" said Bon Bon teasing me. "Ha, ha. Very funny, at least I have a better understanding of things, and you adapt in a way from the things I see or from the others," I explained. "I'm guessing that's why I cuss a lot," responded Bon Bon. "And why you and Foxy... you know?... Did the thing?" "Yeeeaaahhhh... right," I responded. "By that you mean sex?" asked Shadow Freddy. "Y-Yeah," I responded while blushing a little. I saw Foxy was blushing while also giving off a awkward smile, which made me blush even more, and she did as well. The awkward silence and moment just felt weird, but like it wouldn't ever happen. It was one of those moments that happened at the most inconvenient time. "Anyways..." I said ignoring what just happened. "Who was The Puppet anyways?" I asked. "He in a way was a father to us, or mother. He gave life to all the animatronics... well... most of them. He gave them a second life," explained Golden Freddy. "Oh ok," I responded. "Let's check out the maintenance room," suggested Shadow Freddy. We all started walking towards the maintenance room, as we passed by the other way that lead to the office and the party rooms. As we passed by, we all stopped to the sight of Springtrap from afar. He immediately saw as and stared at us, locking our eyes together. He stared for what felt like minutes, when in reality it was only seconds. "Let's keep moving," I said while looking away now. We walked in the room as we started looking around. There was just some tools and a tool box, nothing more, nothing less. "Fuck, there's nothing!" I said. "Hopefully Springtrap and Mangle find something," said Foxy. "Yeah," I said. "They better," I muttered to myself. Golden Freddy was staring at the wall, which got me curious. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Just remembering when I was here," he responded. "I never got used so the workers just used me for parts. Even after that I never had a real purpose." "I'm sorry," I responded. "You don't have to be, that's the past, and today is now," he responded. "Hey uh Freddy, Shadow's having a daze over here," whispered Bon Bon while nudging me. I looked at Shadow; he was just staring into space.

"Hey shadow!"

No response.

"Hello?"

Nothing. Just nothing.

"Yo!"

I snapped my fingers at him; nothing in response.

"SHADOW FREDDY!"

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT! WHAT DO WANT ME TO FIX, MY LIFE! I CAN'T!"

I stood there startled; he had yelled. He was never like this. "I'm sorry... it's-" "What the fuck is that?" asked Fredbear. I turned to see things, things inexplicable. "Oh no," said Shadow Freddy. "What are these things?" asked Foxy. "The phantoms." His response made sense in a click. The phantom animatronics were standing in front of us; all of them. The gosame ones Springtrap created. But how were they still alive, he said they were gone. Or so he concluded. They just seemed lifeless, ghosts of the pizzerias that still existed all these years. And they were back once again. The need for revenge revealed itself in their soulless eyes, to show their true purpose. Instead of just being a former shadow of this franchise, which was hell itself. But we weren't going to let that happen, not without a fight. "Great!" I said aloud. "Where's Ghostbusters when you need them."
