Chapter 57

"What took you so long? We thought you were going to catch up to us before we made it here!" NamJoon says as he sees you, Jungkook and Jimin entering the room were history is about to be written and ears are going to bleed. 

The room is quite spacious, enough to fit fifteen people comfortably, there is a big television on the one wall, opposite from the couch and small coffee table in the middle. 

The walls are white however they look like green and pink as the colored lights fall on them. 

"He had a hard time finding a coat," Jungkook glares at Jimin and Jimin just gives him a sheepish smile.

Soon, ChaeRin opens the door and she smiles to everyone, "What are you waiting for? Let's start singing!" 

Everyone cheers and Taehyung is the first one who sings, as he is the star of the night. 

"Okay, okay I will chose a song right now," he says with his deep voice, "But someone please get some Soju over here, karaoke without drinking is very no fun" he says and in the end switches to English making you chuckle. 

"IT'S RIGHT HERE!!" a boy from the back yells and everyone becomes startled but once he raises his arm up and everyone sees that he's holding a bag with a bunch of Soju bottles in, they laugh and cheer. 

"Okay, perfect, I will continue now," Taehyung says once he has received his small glass of Soju, holding it in his one hand as he searches through songs and he comes across Adele's 'Someone Like You'. 

He chooses this song and a few are disappointed that he did not choose a more cheer-y one but he doesn't change his mind and starts singing with his deep voice. 

And so the night goes on, everyone drinks, sings silly songs and enjoys their time. 

Yoongi and Hoseok of course did not lose the chance to have a duet with each other. 

Yeah, let's just say they did not recieve many points...

Jungkook took the game too seriously and sang his heart out to Charlie Puss, and Justin Bieber scoring the highest scores. 

But of course, when Eunbi decided to perform EXID's 'Up&Down' Jungkook And Hoseok could stop the urge to dance and so  they had a dance show as well while Eunbi tried her hardest to keep up with the rap, but seeing this is not her cup of tea she gave up and handed the mick over to NamJoon who rapped it with a high pitched voice, making everyone laugh their buts off. 

As much as you want to have fun, though, you aren't. 

You can't find the strenght to simply relax and laugh at SeokJin and Yoongi who are 
fighting over who is going to get the only empty seat there is left on the couch; SeokJin pulling out the card that he's the eldest and needs to rest and then Yoongi stating that he's the grandpa of the group therefore should have the seat, but Jin denying it completely calling him lazy. 

In the end, Taehyung is the one who sits on the seat as the two don't even notice him, being to deep into their little argument. 

Still, though, even when they see Taehyung sitting there and they start laughing their buts off for being so clueless, you don't feel a change. 

You keep thinking of everything that took place not even two hours ago. 

You keep wondering how Jimin can become so friendly when the previous day he wasn't even talking to you and only gave you his best glares. 

How can he be so fine with it? 

You think, wondering how he looks so comfortable, like non of the previous fights you've had before exist anymore, like all the reasons he hated you for have seized to exist. 

 How can all that happen in a matter of hours? It's not possible, yet again he looks so natural... If he truly is like that, then why am I not feeling so comfortable as well? 

Maybe he's just joking around? 

But.. He can't be that cruel to joke with something like that... If he were to be like that I'm sure Eunbi would have told me anything indicating such thing about him.. But all the things I've heard from her about him are nice... 

You wonder, becoming an even more confused mess than you were before. 

Why can't I just calm down? We decided to make peace why do I keep thinking bad of him? 

You scold yourself thinking that you should not think of Jimin as someone who tries to deceive you anymore. 

But it's only logical to have doubts; You and Jimin had negative feelings for each other and where not afraid to show it, especially him. So, now that you've decided to try the road of friendship out, it's logical to be afraid if you are going to fall down a hill at the end of it, but as time passes you'll eventually realize that this is not the case. 

I don't want to be caught as a fool. 

"Are you okay?" you hear someone whisper in your ear and you snap out of your thoughts. 

You turn your head to the direction the sound came from and you're met with Jimin's face. 

"Are you okay?" he asks once again as you do not seem to give him any response. 

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," nod and give him a small smile. 

Jimin however sees past your smile and understands that you are not being honest with him which makes him nervous. 

 Why isn't she telling me the truth? We are trying to build a friendship here and she needs to be honest... Why isn't she honest? 

He questions himself as he looks at you. 

Would you tell her what troubles you right now? 

His subconscious throws at him and he understands that you'll need your time until you open up to him, just like he will find it difficult to open up to you if something is troubling him and you ask what's wrong. 

But who will be the one that takes the first step to come closer to the other by opening up and start making the tie between them that will be labeled as 'trust'? 

Should he do it? 

And how should he do it?

Should he urge you a bit more and ask what's bothering you? Because something is clearly stopping you from having a nice time.

What if by urging you he pushes you away?

Again. 

He doesn't wish to push you away, he came this far why should he go to score-zero after he came this far? 

Should he simply let it go? 

 Well, friends on 'level one' usually don't push each other that much so I should just let go. 

And try to cheer her up maybe. 

"Have some Soju*," he smiles and offers you a shot, that you accept and drink it with one gulp. 

Soon, your face twists, giving a sour expression and you start coughing as you're not used to the extreme burn it creates on the walls of your throat. You haven't drank Soju many times due to the fact that it burns too much and so drinking it so fast and all at once was not a good option for someone inexperienced. 

You try to keep it as low as possible so that you don't draw attention to yourself, by putting your arm in front of your face and leaning to the front. 

Jimin puts his hand on your back asking if you're okay but not without a few chuckles escaping his lips as your reaction to the drink was rather funny. 

"Why is that thing so-" you try to say but you cough again. 

Thank goodness, Hoseok is singing at the loudest and you can't be heard. 

Jimin this time laughs as he sees your red face once you sit up again and fan your hot face. 

"Why are you laughing?" you tell him while starting to feel extremely hot, so you start fanning yourself with your other hand as well. 

Oh, the temperature feels so high, why did I drink this? 

Jimin taps his index finger on his ear and then shakes it negatively meaning that he did not hear you, - obviously due to Hoseok- however he knows what you've asked him, and you know that he knows. So you in response to the sneaky smile on his face you give him a glare and he throws his head back in laughter as you widen your eyes and blink them a few times because they've begun to get watery. 

I'm not drinking Soju again,

You think as you grab a flier from the coffe table and fan yourself. 

"You need to learn how to drink," Jimin says in your ear once he comes closer. 

"And who's gonna teach me? The guy that gets slayed at a club and then fears that he'll die in an elevator when it's only going up?" you tell him in response with a smirk, referring to the time you took him home drunk and when you were in the elevator he thought you were going to die. 

Jimin gives you a dissatisfied look and you chuckle feeling a little lighter, seeing that you can still be a little mean to each other and hopefully won't get offended. 

"I'll show you once we go to Busan, just wait till tomorrow," he threatens giving you a sly look and you feel your stomach flip again. 

 Wait Busan? Tomorrow? So he's serious? No, he can't be... 

How can he bring a complete stranger to his house let alone let them live in the same house with him? 

Aaah, seriously, I don't understand. 

You start getting frustrated with the whole Busan situation. He'd be crazy to actually take you there, but still has mentioned it so many times he can't be joking... 

"Wait wait, Busan? You're actually serious about this?" you say once Hoseok has stopped singing and you can talk to Jimin without needing to lean close to him for him to hear you, or vice versa. 

"Yes?" he asks in irony, completely meaning that he absolutely is serious about this. 

You give him a shocked face, "You are not serious," you say in disbelief. 

"Of course I am," he states giving you a blank look wondering why you don't believe him. 

"I'm a complete stranger to you, how can you so simply agree with taking me to your hometown and taking responsibility of me as well," you begin your rant, "what if I decided to kill you on the way there? Huh? What then? You'll be too dead to even scold yourself," you say not coming up with a better example of possible risks he's taking with bringing you along with him. 

Jimin purses his lips. 

He has thought of the 'dangers' of taking You along with him ever since he remembered what he did that night when he was drunk and his mother called him to ask for details about his trip and you. 

Before you stopped the vendetta between you, he knew you wouldn't do anything weird or disrespect any of the people that are close to him, and Eunbi was sure to do her part of brainwashing along with the others, and he was really considering offering you to go with him, however the fact that you were not talking and were extremely mad at each other for stupid reasons he didn't even think of actually dropping his ego and talking to you. 

But, now that things have changed, why shouldn't he? 

This will work in making the two of you bond and also he won't hear his friends and mom complaining at him for leaving you spend the New Year's Eve alone. 

"If you really wished to harm me then you would have done it when I was drunk and most vulnerable to you," he says and this has you shut up.

Its true if you had bad intentions you would have already done something. 

"Also, I know you may think it may be too soon, but tell me, do you really want to spent the new year's on your couch watching dramas and being all alone?" he says and you purse your lips not finding the idea really bad, 

"Don't you dare say yes," he threatens after realizing-from your expression- that you wouldn't mind being alone.

You don't give him an answer and simply look at him and shrug, 

"And with this trip we can also come closer," Jimin says and once again you are being caught off guard as all of this feels to surreal to be true. 

Now, the two, could never pick a worst moment to have a conversation like this. 

ChaeRin is in that very specific room and unfortunately... Has heard everything, as she is not standing too far away from them. 

"What the actual hell?"

Ooookaaaaaayyyyy, 

Don't get worried about the Cliffhanger, 

Things with ChaeRin won't escalate on the next chapter (80% sure of this) 

I mean, next chapter is all about going to Busan who would worry about ChaeRin and her thoughts? 

And she also had to find out at some point, it's not like they could go around doing this forever xD

All those western artists will be sooooooooooo, embarrassed once they see our boys perform because most of them can't reach a high note by simply standing and then there's Kpop idols that sing, dance and rap at the same time. 

I.... Just realized why standard have blown off the roof...
