Your smile fades away as you realize that you are standing next to Jimin and more importantly that he was the one to catch you before your collision with the hard floor. 

Jimin notices that he is getting stared at and he turns his head to look at the person responsible. 

To your dismay, you are not quick enough to turn your head and he catches you looking at him before you avert your eyes back to the couple. 

Once Taehyung and Eunbi separate from each other everyone attacks Taehyung and pats him on the back, wishing him happy birthday. 

The party is not something big at the moment; just the seven boys, you, Eunbi, Mark and a few others close to Taehyung, however many people are aware that you guys would hold a party for Tae's birthday and they are all welcome to come. 

Thinking that it is time for the cake, you look behind you on the table and see that the cake's candles are lit up. 

You take the cake on your hands and walk up to Taehyung. As everyone realizes it's time they start singing the Happy Birthday song. 

"You guys," Taehyung sighs as his eyes water at the sight of all this,,"Thank you so much," he says but he is not heard as the singing of all of you is louder than his words. 

As you all finish the song Taehyung takes a few seconds, probably thinking up of a wish, and then blows out the candle. 

As this happens everyone happily cheers and snaps pictures with each other. 

"Get the music on!!" You yell and soon you recieve a positive answer from Yoongi and Hoseok who rush to the DJ corner of the room and soon dance music and remixes are blasted through the speakers. 

"I'm gonna go cut the cake," you tell Eunbi who nods and you leave for the kitchen. Once the cake is cut and everyone has had their piece everyone is weirdly dancing to the music that is being played by the two DJs. 

Soon enough though you hear the doorbell ring, wondering who else could have decided to drop by you head to open the door. 

You nearly choke on thin air as you take in the person standing in front of you. 

What the fuck? 

"Ch-chaeRin-ssi?" you ask completely shocked. 

"Hello," she gives you a sour face, probably acting like she's holding a grudge against you for attacking her boyfriend. 

"What do you want here?" You ask, still taken aback by her presence. 

"Aah, a common friend me and Taehyung have, could not come over and he asked me to drop by his present," she says, eyeing you from head to toe. 

"Okay, I'll give it to him, you can go," you say not opening the door any wider for her to get in. 

"Ah, please there's someone in there I need to talk to as well," she says and decides to push past you and enter the house. 

Everyone freezes on their spot once they see her enter, in all her glory. Jimin chokes on his drink as well and his eyes soon search for you as his heart starts picking up paces. 

And as Yoongi and Hoseok see her they freeze themselves and stop the  music making the situation more intense. 

"Taehyung?" she asks, scanning the room for the birthday boy, who sits up from the couch at the mention of his name. 

"This from EunTak, he wishes you happy birthday and says he's sorry for not being able to come," she smiles at him and hands him the purple bag in  her hands. 

"Thank you," Taehyung politely addresses and stands there expecting Chae-Rin to turn around and leave however that is not the case. 

"You wouldn't mind if stayed here for a while, right? I have somewhere to go in two hours, but I need to kill my time till them, I won't be a bother, I'll just sit somewhere and talk with Hang Seol," she says motioning towards a girl with red-ish curly hair and bangs. 

Given that Chae-Rin has been so polite and even brought Taehyung his present from EunTak, he has really no room to disagree. He'll feel guilty afterwards and the also if he urges that she goes the mood will definitely be ruined. 

Taehyung, say no, please!! 

If ChaeRin stays than that means you and Jimin will have to interact and you're not sure if you're down for it at the moment. 

"Uuhh, o-okay... Yeah, sure," Taehyung mumbles and you sigh as Chae-Rin cheers. 

"Yaay! Thank you! Please continue, come on Hang Seol," she says and drags the red haired girl to one of the couches. 

The music starts playing again, everyone seems-now- unscathed that ChaeRin is here, everyone of course except you and Jimin. 

Now, let me explain to you why the others do not mind Chae-Rin's presence that much. 

You see, Eunbi is so fed up with you and Jimin's attitudes towards each other, she's taken it upon herself to do anything possible in order to get you start talking to each other. Even manipulating ChaeRin into coming to the party. 

This is the true reason why Yoongi and NamJoon pretended to be too tired to go record Jimin's recording the other day, and forced it you; To get you to start communicating again. Thank goodness, though, Jimin dragged Mark along, who was unaware of that part of the plan. 

Now, as stated before Eunbi is willing to bring you two to any situation, as long as you and him talk to each other.

Of course, she knows that when in front of ChaeRin or anybody else- besides your circle of friends- you have to act like a couple. What better way to get you to interact than bring ChaeRin and force you to communicate? By this, Eunbi hopes that by the nice act, you might warm up to each other again and things might evolve. 

Well, it's only a matter of time until we all find out. 

As the party goes on, you ready to freak out rush to the kitchen and close the door behind you. 

What the fuck? 
WHY is she here? 

I swear the universe is against me!!! 

What the heck am I supposed to do now? 

Should I just walk up to him and pretend I'm in love with him? 

That's what I'm supposed to do... 

Why can't I muster up the strength to do so, then? 

Damn why did I ever get into this? 

You think as your hand runs through your hair in frustration. 

Having been too deep into your thoughts you did not notice the door opening, but only its slamming when it closed. The music now can not be heard anymore therefore after the slamming sound, silence follows. Your head snaps to the direction and you are met with the back of someone wearing a black turtle neck, your eyes go a little bit upwards and you notice flaming red hair. 

Your eyes go wide and your hand reaches your mouth as you realize that it is Jimin that had come inside. 

 Oh my... 

Out of all the places,

He had to come here?

Shit, I don't want him to see me, where can I hide? 

You think but it is too late as Jimin has turned around and he has become aware of your presence. 

His eyes go wide at your presence and you find yourself even more nervous. 

And now what do we do? 

You ask yourself as your stare into his eyes and he stares into yours. Then once awkwardness takes over the room and he coughs looking somewhere else and you avert your eyes from him as well. 

He turns around to make an attempt to leave however, once he tries to open the door it is locked. 

Suddenly, you get a sudden boost of confidence and without even thinking you blurt out a question,

"Do you know why she's here?"

Of course, the moment you ask this, you feel like you are submerged into guilt, you feel like he believes you must be the stupidest of all people, the nervousness that has taken over you is extremely huge. 

Why, though? 

Why can he make you feel this way? 

Why does he have the ability to make you mad like that and then in an instant turn you into a pool of nervousness? 

What is so great about him that you feel intimidated by the idea of just talking to him? 

Are you scared of him? 

Hell no! 

You answer with confidence in your mind. 

If you're not scared then why the heck don't you speak to him like a normal person? 

Thinking of all this helps your confidence built up. 

And you know what? If he throws me away this time again, then fine, it's his choice. 

I won't be on blame for not trying. 

After that certain question Jimin of course ignores you. Whenever he sees you he feels extremely irritated or angry you might say. He's not sure why, but it feels like the old days where he said he hated you for being a foreigner, but only three times worse. 

The reason he feels that way? 

He doesn't know. 

And he turns even madder at the thought that he doesn't know the reasons behind his feelings. 

Anyways, just as you promised yourself, you make another attempt to talk to him, and settle what you are going to do at the party and if he acts like a five-year-old child giving you the silent treatment, then it's his choice. 

"Jimin!" you say with a more forceful voice and startled at this, Jimin's body, ignoring his mind, turns around and faces you. 

"ChaeRin is here," you state. 

"Of course she's here, everybody saw her," he attempts to be ironic, but his voice trembles at the end, making his attempt a failure. 

"The... Act is still on, right?" You ask trailing off a little bit, unsure if you should ask this. 

"That's what we agreed, isn't it?"he responds in a more aggressive manner this time. 

Okay, 

What the hell is wrong with him? 

Why is he being like this? 

What did you do? 

Did you do something wrong? 

Or is he supposed to act this way? 

To be honest, you don't like it he fact that he is being like this towards you... 

But, you haven't been any warmer towards him either... 

Your subconscious throws at you and you purse your lips in agreement. 

Yeah... But I doubt that he warms up to me if I try acting kinder... 

I've tried that before and it wasn't much of a success... 

You argue, expecting your subconscious to shut up, but it throws another answer to your mind. 

That was ages ago. Many things have changed since then. 

Your train of thoughts is being interrupted as Jimin turns his back towards you and tries to open the door in order to exit, however he fails to open it. 

He tries a few more times until he realizes that the door has been locked from the other side. 

"Aaah " he sighs,"Perfect," he leans against the door and slides down, slowly disappearing from site as he becomes hidden by the table that stands in front of you. He places his elbows on his knees and ducks his head between his arms, looking down. 

What is bothering him? 

You wonder as you see that he obviously is not in a great mood and it looks like a lot of things have occurred to him today. 

You feel the need to comfort him, however, you feel too insecure to approach him. It feels like it's going to be a total rejection once again and you don't feel like making a fool of yourself and boosting his confidence at your disadvantage. 

But still, that need to want to be there for him is growing bigger than the fear of rejection and so you find your self moving your feet towards him and sliding down the door next to him. 

He doesn't realize your movements as he is trying to calm himself down. 

The past days, whenever he sees you, he becomes furious, and more specifically, whenever he sees you conversing, smiling or laughing with others,( and Mark as well, whom you happen to have many common interests with).

Maybe, it is the fact that he agreed to that stupid deal, and now he can't even talk to you. At least back then he was able to start up a fight with you, now he can't even do that. 

He is not expecting you to ever help him again. Like the time you did when he was drunk. And he tells himself that he doesn't need your help, but why does he get a nostalgic feeling whenever he recalls that night? 

How caring you were towards him when he was emptying his stomach, how you tried changing his mind and have him not call his mother because he would have awoken her from her sleep. 

Yes, he remembers. He remembers everything clearly.

That is what had him cut some slack and come to your building and help you when you were in the blasted elevator. 

And from your point, it's true that you felt like you were in peace when you and Jimin ignored each other. But there was always this feeling, like something was not right. 

It felt weird that you would not hear him  trying to annoy you in that usual tone of confident voice he used around you. 

It was a nice break from each other, but it needs to stop now. 

It's pointless too. 

You can either cut off communication completely, thing that would blow up the entire act for Chae-Rin and would also make it really hard for the rest of the guys and Eunbi. Or, you can try and sort your problems out, or at least go back to bickering.

"Thank you," you say out of the blue and Jimin lifts up his head and turns to look at you with confusion written in his face. 

"Thank you for coming at my building and helping with getting me out of the busted elevator," you say, not looking at him. 

Suddenly, all the anger that was flaming inside of Jimin dissappears, leaving behind a tingly feelings as if butterflies are flying around in his stomach and their wings are tingling his walls. 

"How did you...?" he trails off, shocked that you found out and let also because you dropped your ego and thanked him. 

"It's not that hard to find out, and besides, you know Eunbi is not good at keeping her mouth shut," you chuckle in attempt to make the mood lighter. 

"Uh... Well," he begins, he too looking straight ahead, messing with the rings on his fingers, "Forget about it, it was nothing," he says and rubs the back of his neck. 

You nod your head understanding that there is no need to say anything more. You told him about your gratitude, if he lets you show it as well it will be even better, but this can't happen in a matter of five minutes. 

After a few moments of silence you speak again, though. 

"I think the deal we made is stupid," you blurt out. 

"Why?" he asks, already agreeing with you in his mind but he needs to hear your reasoning. 

"We've already violated it at least three times and the others will try their best to get us to talk," you speak your thoughts, "And I'm pretty sure Eunbi locked that door," 

Jimin only hums in agreement, "What do we do, then?" he asks you and this time turns to look at your face expression. 

Before you can even think of an answer you hear the door making a 'click' sound and soon it opens, both you and Jimin falling back, to a person's feet. 

As you look up you see Chae-Rin's figure hovering over the both of you.
