"Aaahh!!! Finally!!!" You sigh in relief as you put your pen down. 

You finally finished with that Biology essay you had to write. It took you a lot; you barely finished in time for the deadline that is in two days. But you don't have to worry anymore as are free from this commitment. Well not completely, you still have to hand it in,  but most of the torturing is over. 

"Y/N" You hear a voice calling you from the other side of the entrance of the cafeteria you're currently at. 

It's Eun-bi with Taehyung, their probably on a date. 

You smile as you see them and wave your hand as hello. They come to your table and sit opposite of you. 

"What are you doing here? I thought you were going to write that essay of yours?" Eun-bi asks with confusion written all over her face. 

"I did." You smile at her. 

"Here?" she asks you referring to the cafeteria. 

"Yes, I like this place, it's a quiet cafe and it has delicious chocolate drinks" you say as you take another sip from your hot cocoa. 

"Wow...okay... And I thought you couldn't get any weirder." Eun-bi comments and she receives laughs from you and Taehyung. 

"So... Are you guys on a date?" you say wiggling your eyebrows up and down with a mischievous look. 

"Um..yes, it's actually a double date!"Taehyung says with a small smile. 

"Really? With who?" you ask interested as you start packing your utensils in your pencil case. 

"It's more like a blind date for the other two... They haven't met yet. It's Jimin and Eun-bi's friend whose name I keep forgetting" Taehyung says rubbing his neck as he apologetically looks at Eun-bi for forgetting her friend's name. 

"It's Lisa. L-I-S-A. What is so hard to remember about it?" Eun-bi says with a chuckle escaping her after her failure of an attempt to act mad but the moment she looked at Tae she couldn't hold up the act. Tae is just too sweet. 

"Meh, me and my memory of a goldfish" Taehyung shrugs. 

You laugh at Tae's response, "You don't have the memory of a goldfish, Tae" 

"Is this a sick joke?" You hear a familiar voice cut in to your conversation. 

You look up to see Jimin, looking more  handsome than usual for this blind date, with a confused yet irritated expression on his face. 

"What do you mean?" Eun-bi asks him. 

"Please don't tell me you set me up on a date with her," Jimin says with disgust the last word. 

"Haha, no, no, no, no! There's not a chance of that ever happening" You say with a fake ironic laugh. The idea of going on a date with him doesn't really suit your likings. 

"She's not your date." Taehyung says, "Eun-bi's friend hasn't arrived yet, we just saw Y/N when we came in and sat here to greet her" 

"Oh..." Jimin says, for a tiny moment you thought you saw embarrassment and disappointment drawn on his face, but you shook off the thought as it is not possible of him being disappointed that you're not his blind date, right? 

Right. 

"Anyways, you guys can sit at this table, I finished with my essay, so I'll be going." you say as you stand up and start gathering your things. 

Emidiately Jimin sits on where you sat not long ago. As you gather your papers someone from behind you pulls you from your shoulder and drags you on the ground with them. 

You hear laughter coming from Taehyung, Eun-bi and Jimin but also from some other male voices coming from a little further in the cafe.  

Once you restore your balance you help yourself up and help the other person, who appears to be a male, up too. 

"I am sooooo sorry" Says the male and you immediately recognize the voice. 

You look to see that it's Cody, "You again?" you say with a smile that you obviously can't hide. 

"Aahh!!Looks like I've subconsciously made you my target. I'm really sorry. I truly am!" The blue eyed man keeps apologizing. 

"It's okay nobody got harmed" You say as you smile at him. 

"Um... Y/N" You hear Jimin say and a snicker is followed by him. 

You turn around to see what he wants and you see your hot chocolate all over the table, more importantly all over your essay. 

"Oh my God!" You say turning frantic, you pick up the papers to see that they are ruined. Nothing of whatever you wrote is visible on that paper, much like all of your papers. 

"Oh no!!" You say utterly shocked. 

You don't know how to feel. You've spent so much time on that stupid essay to make it perfect and worth the higher grade that you actually can not believe this happened. 

"Did I cause this? I am soo sorry!! What is important? I'm really sorry!!" Cody says turning frantic, "Was this your paper for the human D.N.A. That must be handed in by this Friday...?" he says after he sees your textbook filled with biology notes and drawings related to the subject. 

"Yes" You say, your voice small from the shock, you look at the chocolate-coated paper blankly and wonder why does this have to happen to you? 

​​​​​​Why does your laptop have to be at the service for the past two weeks and why do you have to be forced to write that essay using your hand and a pen because nobody else will land you their laptop for a few days. 

Like, what sins have you done to deserve this? 

You look at Jimin and see satisfaction written all over his face. He's so enjoying your misery. You're ready to explode at his face but Cody speaks up and you feel like there is nothing to say. Like all the  anger dissappeared, leaving no trace of it behind. 

"Okay!! I know how to make it up you! I attend this course too, okay? I'll help you re-write it. I'll even write all for you if you want." He offers with pleading eyes. 

You consider it for a moment. 

Should I accept his help? I mean... The professor sure did say that we are supposed to this all on our own... But I did do it on my own... And Cody did ruin my paper...so he kind of has to make it up to me now... Plus... Together we will write it a lot faster than I will on my own...Adding to that it won't be as boring to write it all over again...

"Okay..." You say greeting your teeth. 

You still can't believe that you'll have to go through hell again to write this essay of seven pages. 

"Great! Do you want to go to the library right now or later?" Cody suggests. 

"Oh no! Not now! I can't function properly anymore..." You tell him, "How about in two hours?" 

"Okay, perfect! Do you want to give me your number so I can contact you if anything happens?" he asks. 

You eye him suspiciously and he grins in hope that you give him your number.

"Yes, she will give you her number!" Eun-bi chimes into you conversation, answering to Cody for you and she takes his phone from his hands and starts typing in your number. 

Cody looks at you in a manner that gives away that he actually wants to know if your okay with this, you look at him a bit unsure thinking it would be rude to have him erase your number after Eun-bi hands it over to him, so you nod your head, meaning that you have no problem.

"Perfect!" says Eun-bi and gives Cody his phone back.

Cody retrieves his phone and smiles to you afterwards. 

Before any of you manage to say anything a female voice comes up. 

"Um... Hello? Eun-bi?" You turn to look at her, it's a very skinny, yet, incredibly beautiful blond girl. Her pinched nose has turned red from the cold outside, which, indeed, makes her look cute. 

"LISAAAAAA!!!!" Eun-bi chimes and attacks her with a hug. 

"Heyyy!!"Lisa says as she hugs her friend back. 

You, feel a tap on your shoulder and you turn to see one of the employees with a cloth on her hand, she's here to clean the chocolate that is decorating the table along with your essay. 

You step aside to let the girl do her job. 

"So... Um... Are you Jimin?" Lisa says with a huge smile turning to Cody. 

Cody's eyebrows lift up in confusion as he does not understand what she said. You snicker once you see Jimin's face fall. 

"What did she say?" Cody asks your very confused. 

"She asked if-" you tried responding to Cody but Jimin cut you off. 

"I am Jimin" Jimin cuts you off. 

You turn to look at him and see him flashing his charmiest smile to Lisa. You're taken aback for a moment. His smile looks genuine, warm, and friendly.  Non of these adjectives match to the Park JiMin you know. 

For a split second you found yourself wondering how he acts around other people. 

You shook that thought away, though,  as you stepped aside again to let the waitress leave since she cleaned the mess. 

Lisa's head turns to the source of the voice and for a split second you are able to see the shock in her eyes, Jimin smirks a bit at that. 

Oh.. He's ego is soooo getting fed with this... You think to yourself. 

"Nice to meet you" Jimin says and he bows at the girl. 

"Nice to meet you too" she says and she too bows. 

"Okay.. Um... I should get going before the cheesiness here is too much for me...um, have a nice time, you guys." You say as you wear your coat and tie your scarf around your neck, "And you,"  you turn to Cody, "You better call me later. I ain't finishing that on my own" you say referring to your essay. 

Cody smirks and nods his head. 

"Okay, byee!!" you grab you backpack and wave them off, leaving the cafe. 

For some reason it makes you feel weird seeing Jimin being kind. 

Why can't he be kind to you too?

What did you ever do to him to deserve his rudeness?
