"Jimin, what the fuck is going on?" You ask as you raise an eyebrow when Jimin looks at you with a slightly agape mouth. 

"Uuuuh, I guess we just got official" he sighs. 

And once again your eyes go wide. People now believe that you are Park Jimin's girlfriend. The person that showed to everyone he despised you, the person everyone believed you hated as well, and yet here both of you are, being claimed as a couple to everyone, when in honesty it's just a small lie, used to push someone away, turned into a big fat one. 

"For fuck's sake why is this happening?" you growl at you run your fingers through your hair.
 
Just a few days ago your life was pretty stable, you had your friends, your studies kept going on at a steady rhythm, your relationship with Park Jimin was crystal clear to everyone and more importantly you two. You basically didn't have anything to upset you or make you mess anything up.  
But then, just because life isn't fair, Jimin just had to be a little bit friendly to you and you got back on to believing that there is hope to stop all this hostility towards you, but you didn't imagine you'd end as his girlfriend in the people's eyes, when the two of your haven't even decided if you're going to decrease the hate and possibly form a friendship, or if you're going to go stronger than ever with your little vendetta.

And now what are you going to do?

He seems to be in aid of your help. You have two options, you either stick to his side, help him and maybe get to know him better, or abandon all this, yell to the world that you guys have broken up and leave him at the mercy of Chae-Rin. 

Chae-Rin. 

Why is she bugging Jimin if she is dating Cody? 

Okay, this is too confusing, you need some explanation before you make any decisions. 

"You're going to say that it's all a lie, aren't you?" Jimin asks you with a fierce look, he's trying to hide the fact that he's scared of you ruining it all and widely opening the door for Chae-Rin to lunge at him, metaphorically speaking of course. 

You feel your stomach drop, his eyes may look fierce but the tone of his voice doesn't match that expression, you can read past through it and understand that he really needs everything that can be given to him to keep himself away from Chae-Rin's claws. 

However, you still need to know the whole story before you make a decision. It's not out of curiosity, it's more to understand Chae-Rin's character and be able to figure out to say the right thing to discreetly push her away, without having her lash out. The way you say a few things and the words you use for this action is very important because you might say it the wrong way and the outcome will be totally different from what you expected. 

"Okay, listen," you say and sit on the floor few feet away from him,  "I am willing to help you and stick to this story, but first you have got to explain to me what is going on and why this play ​​​​​​is needed, otherwise I won't go in the field with blind eyes, and even if I do I will do the wrong thing and blow everything up" you explain your points and purse your lips. 

Jimin finds himself thinking for a little bit, he doesn't really want to trust you with all this much information, but yet again, if he doesn't tell you, you won't help him and if you won't tell him he'll be more vulnerable to Chae-Rin and probably go down the hill again. 

"I know you don't trust me, believe me I wouldn't trust you either with personal information, but to make this work and seem real, at least real enough to keep her away, You're going to have to" you explain and wait for his response. 

This situation is actually not that bad for Jimin, that way he gets to find more about you but without needing to be honestly caring, like he can be all friendly and nice when people's eyes are on you but hostile and keep you far away when you're alone. He gets to study you and your flaws but keep himself away at the same time.  

Adding to that, a 'relationship' will restrain the freedom of Chae-Rin around him, she won't be able to go kiss him in the middle of the park like she did earlier today, for example. However, to have this he needs to tell you the story... But he doesn't need to tell you the details right? 

At least he thinks so... 

Then his subconscious throws him a very valid question. 

Why, out of all people, would you help him?

It doesn't seem logical, after all he's said to you, you still offer his help?

What is your real purpose?

"Okay," he says, and folds his arms to his chest,  "But why would you help me?" 

"Because I already am too deep in this mess to get out of it unaffected and I might finally get you to see that I'm not bad just because I'm a foreigner" you say and look at him straight in the eye awaiting for a response.

​​​​​​"yaah, if you think this is going to get us closer you're dead wrong" he spits once again in disrespect and  if you made one step closer to him today right now you feel like he just took you a hundred steps back. 

Oh, well you'll just have to keep trying from time time, but that doesn't mean you won't respond to him if he acts like this. 

"Who ever said I wanted to get closer? I just said that I'm going to prove you that the opinion you have about me could be wrong" You say and glare into his eyes. 

"Aaaiishh! And I thought you two were making progress, you're so confusing, people" Eun-bi waves her hand in front of her face while rolling her eyes, "Anyways, let's get back to the main problem, and Jimin please explain what is going on because I have a few blank spaces" 

​​​​​​"So you're going to pretend you're my girlfriend?" Jimin asks shooting you a look.

You give it a thought for a second, you haven't had a real boyfriend yet... A fake one can be nice start to at least get yourself more comfortable around the idea. 

"Yes" you say looking straight into his eyes and he nods while messing up his hair a little bit, preparing what he should tell you, whereas Eun-bi starts squirming out of happiness, her ship is practically sailing. 

"Okay, so me and Chae-Rin dated for about a year.. We broke up two months before you arrived. The things is that when I had honest feelings for her she played me, I was only there to boost her confidence and she dumped me for Cody, who she had been seeing from the very beginning of our relationship.  She announced it to me a day before she went abroad for some studies, and now that she's back she's been getting awfully close to me, and I told her that I have a girlfriend to restrain her a little bit," he stops for a little bit thinking of what to say next, "but I guess she is determined that we are not a real couple and tries everything she can to prove it" 

You are speechless. 

You never imagined that Cody and Jimin new each other from before, let alone being the other guy to his relationship. And how could Chae-Rin be so cruel and play with Jimin's feelings? No-one deserves that kind of treatment.

You seriously find it hard to believe this, yes, you have realized that Chae-Rin is a person that gets jealous easily and is probably acting a little bit more kinder than she actually is but you didn't think to that extent. 

"Wow... No offense but... Is this seriously true or are you playing me?" you look back and forth from Eun-bi to Jimin. 

"It's true..." Eun-bi nods.

"Wow...I just...Her face didn't give off the vibe of being that kind of person..." you explain and let the new information sink in.

"And Cody? Why would he introduce himself to you if he already knows you?" you ask recalling that morning in the kitchen when  Cody  had come to finish your essay and he introduced himself to Jimin. 

"Aaah, I don't really know okay? All that I have understood is that Chae-Rin is trying to get back under my skin again, and I can't let her do that" Jimin says in frustration and stands up while walking around in the loving room. 

"Oh well, now you're my boyfriend" you stand up and you make air-quotes with your hands when you say the word 'boyfriend',  "I'll make sure she gets the message" you take a few steps and stand in front of him, "However I have a few rules, no kissing, no bringing ourselves into uncomfortable moments, no touching of inappropriate body parts"  you count down  your rules, yes you're going to have be his fake girlfriend but you have no intention of him kissing you or allowing him to roam his hands on your body. 

This is not a real relationship, so there's no need for the extra stuff. Words and loving gazes are really enough to prove what you want to prove. 

"I agree. One more thing though, I warn you not to get confused and think I'm honestly being that nice to you, once we're behind the curtains it's back to normal" He warns you. 
Well, to be honest he tries to warn himself more than he tries to warn you. Like earlier stated, he must not see past your flaws and fall for you.
"I'm not that dump or naive" you glare into his eyes. 

For a second you feel hesitant about this, this is way out of your comfort zone or anything you've done before. It's a totally new experience, how do you know you're not going to actually fall for Jimin's fake 'boyfriend' act? Well, this is just a risk your going to have to take, after all what is life if you don't have a few dramatic moments in it?  And who knows, this could escalate into something good. 

"Good then" he says and almost immediately his phone starts ringing,

"Hey Yoongi, what's up?"  he answers and you can practically hear Yoongi screaming from the other end of the phone asking what is going on having the same questions Eun-bi had earlier.  Jimin winces and turns his phone away from his ear. 

"Aaaah, listen we can explain, just come all to Eun-bi's apartment if you can and we'll tell you everything" Jimin says and he hungs up the phone. 

"Are they coming?" Eunbi asks as she stands up and gives the two of you a smile. 

You go frantic once again, "Right now? Seriously? Aaaah cap, I'm not going to get some rest am I?" you ask referring to the fact that you are sick and in need of some rest buy it's not being given to you. 

"Did you check your temperature?" Jimin asks, deciding not to make the distance between the two of you any bigger.

"Pabo..." Jimin sighs, "Go check it"  he says and points you to go to the kitchen where you keep your electronic thermometer. 

You give him a confused look, "Didn't you just say that you're not going to be all friendly and stuff when we're behind the curtains?" 

At this Jimin's eyes go wide and he blushes a little bit avoiding your gaze, trying to come up with a good response. 

However the bell saves him. 

"Aaahhh, they're here already? You just got off the phone! How's that possible?" you whine as you childishly walk to the door to let the boys in.
