(Sorry I haven't updated I just really haven't been in the mood😓)

Steven's POV:

My fifteen minutes are done and now I have everything organized on what I'm going to say.

"What did I miss?" I asked.

   I noticed that Connie and Garnet looked very happy to see me, but it didn't matter right now.

"HI STEVEN LETS HAVE THE PICNIC NOW!" Connie said very enthusiastically. My nervousness faded away as she took my hand and we ran up to the hill. I already had everything set up: a sky blue picnic blanket with 2 plates, a picnic basket with food and a few soda cans, and a radio.

"Wow" was all Connie could say since we had a beautiful view of the moon (see pic at top).

"So what did you wanna tell me?" I ask because I am very curious at the moment.

"Oh well that isn't important anymore!" She said with a smile.

"Connie, please tell me everything." I said worried.

She sighed, then started," Well ever since Pearl called Greg a phase it made me think that I'm nothing to you and your life won't be any different with or without me. I wanted to ask you honest opinion and was worried with the results. I talked with Garnet and she made me feel better." She said, with a hint of relief in her tone of voice.

"Connie, I thought it would be much worse. I thought you didn't want to be my friend anymore. I know my lifestyle is very different from yours and I thought I would make you uncomfortable and weird..... maybe even afraid of seeing the outcome of some gem problems and stuff. I..... I thought you were gonna ditch me..... and that I was too weird for you. But now I see that I mean that much to you so let me make it up to you." I said finally. She was surprised at first, but then grew happy.

"Let's eat before our sandwiches get bad since I know you like mayo on it and it could go bad easily." I said in a chuckle.

She looked so happy I said to myself (sorry italics button isn't working for some reason😢)

We stayed there at the top of the hill talking for a few hours after noticing how dark it was outside. Garnet invited her to stay for the night with me, but somehow Amethyst started laughing mischievously and Connie was blushing. (Hehe Amethyst is dirty if you know what I mean😆)Pearl noticed my confusion and hurried everyone out of the temple so she can change. She slept in my bed while I slept in my lizard looking sleeping bag on the floor beside the bed.(Space Race reference😋)
Today was the best day every!!
