Steven's POV:

    It's been a few years since that night with Connie (They are fifteen now).For some apparent reason every time I pass by a group of girls they just stare at me in awe. I think the working out really payed off, but my mind and heart are set for Connie. Today me and Connie went to The Big Donut to get some donuts, of course.

"Hey Steven and Connie, what could I get you two?" Sadie said in her sweet tone.

"Hey Sadie, where is Lars?" Connie asks. It was weird how he wasn't there.

"Oh he's on break right now." She said.

They ordered their donuts and left to the Funland carnival since it was the time of year.(It's mid May. Don't judge I didn't plan what I was going to write so it may be unusual) We went on the roller coaster, then to the bumper carts since no one was there, then to the Ferris wheel. I went to the bathroom before going onto the Ferris wheel while Connie waited outside. I was pretty surprised of what happened after that.

Connie's POV:

I waited outside just to be bothered by a guy. "Hey babe you single?" He asked in a deep tone. I was a few inches shorter than him but he looked like my age. "Why does it matter?" I ask with an attitude and glared at him.

"Woah chill it girl. You didn't look the feisty type. Anyway, my name is James." He said (I just planned this because James sounds like a cute dude's name to me. Please no hate).

I knew Steven was walking out so I just slapped James to the ground and said, (sorry for the swearing) " I swear to god that if you ever talk to me like that again or another girl like that then you will get slapped." She said with a huff.

"Connie what happened?" Steven asked since he was a bit worried. James got up, winked at me, and glared at Steven. I glared at him back while Steven was still confused. I then overheard James say to Steven,

"Lay off of her. She will be mine and you don't wanna mess with me." James said angrily.

"Oh your the one who's gonna be sorry." And with that said by Steven, he punched him square in the nose making him groan in pain and get a bloody nose.

"Let's go Steven." I say proudly.

"Way ahead of ya." He said while running. I started laughing and chasing after him. We were so immature for our age, but we didn't care. We made it to he Ferris wheel and he apologized for what happened and asked what happened when he was in the bathroom.

"This guy tried to flirt with me but he just got {censored} slapped." I say with pride. (Sorry I don't have the guy to curse)

Of course this made him laugh since it was funny how he fell to the ground on his knees. We got so deep in conversation that they told us to get out of the ride.

"Today was fun, besides the fact that that "James" guy tried to flirt with you." Steven said while we were watching the sunset.

"It actually was funny how he thought he could flirt with anyone." I say with a chuckle.

"Either way," I start," I would have got Garnet to be there if you weren't." I say and he laughs.

We head back to the temple since I was sleeping over and found Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst using Steven's new tablet.

"This game is genius!" Pearl said while playing 2048.

"It's my turn Pearl." Garnet said firmly. "I wanna play minecraft!" She said playfully.

"I wanna play Grand Theft Auto." Amethyst said.(yes I went there😂)

"AMETHYST I SAID THAT GAME WAS TOO INAPPROPRIATE TO HAVE ON THE TABLET!" Pearl squawked as she was hogging the tablet. We were looking through the window so we wouldn't disturb their game. Today was too great.
