I groaned in my pillow. I was a son of Poseidon. I can't believe it! How can I ,just a nobody, be a son of one of the Big Three?Although, I didn't want to be a half-blood, it did make a lot of sense. All my life, I have felt a certain connection with water. It somehow manages to calm me. I'm a son of Poseidon. Oh my god- oh. . . I guess I should say gods since there twelve Olympian gods after all. Wait-but why am I only giving credit to the major Gods? There are plenty of minor gods that should be appreciated like Hypnos, Dionysus-oh wait. Never mind! Forget I said anything! STUPID ADHD!!!! I then shifted my position and gazed at the ceiling. I recalled my talk with Chiron earlier.
~Flashback~
"Percy, Zeus's master bolt is missing and he believes that you are the lightning thief,"Chiron explained briefly.

"I'm not."

"I believe you Percy, but Zeus won't."

"Look whatever you want me to do I won't. This is about your world, not mine."

"THIS IS ABOUT ALL WORLDS!!!"Chrion roared. "If we don't do something Earth will become a battle ground and gods will-"

"And goddesses!"I added.

"And goddesses will be forced to choose sides. There will be a war. This is why I am taking you to Olympus. We can negotiate and tell him that you aren't the thief."

"Then what are we waiting around for? Let's go!"

"Percy, you don't understand. Once you out of camp's safe barrier, monsters will automatically be attracted to you because your strong scent. You won't be safe."

"Scent?"

"Yes. Your scent is especially strong because you are a child of the Big Three. Your mother married Gabriel because his odor hid your scent from monsters."

"So, my mother put up with that creep. . . to protect me?"I asked.

"Yes,"Chiron confirmed.

"I wish I would've known. I could have had the chance the thank her, but now? Now she's gone,"I replied as I went to my cabin trying to process what had just conspired.
