"About what?"I asked stubbornly, refusing to go anywhere without information.

Grover busted into my house,surprising me because he moved so fast on crutches.

"We need to go now!"Grover explained to my mother.

Sally nodded in agreement and grabbed Gabe's car keys. That's when the best thing that ever happened in my life came in(Note the sarcasm).

"Where do you think you're going?"Gabe asked aggressively.

"None of your business,"I grumbled.

"You're not going anywhere!"Gabe replied, lifting his fist to punch me.

That's when Grover came him and wacked Gabe in the stomach with one of his crutches just in time before Gabe's fist connected with my face. He yelled out in pain, and while he was distracted,we headed out the door and climbed into Gabe's car.

"Thanks G-man,"I said in thanks to Grover.

"It wasn't a big deal. I'm your protector,"Grover said.

After an awkward silence, I questioned"What aren't you guys telling me?"

Sally sighed before saying,"Percy,this is about your father."

"What? That no good guy who left us? He's not my father and never will be."

"Percy! He had to go! It's not his fault!"

"HE LEFT US! HE LEFT YOU! WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?"I shouted,angry that she didn't understand.

"Ummm... Guys?"Grover asked nervously.

I fumed in silence.

"Umm... GUYS!!!"Grover yelled,pointing over to a herd of monsters to our left.

Just then, the car swerved, crashing into a fence. Our car rolled and we ended upside down in the car. I unbuckled my seatbelt and fell hard to the ground. I tried to open the car for but it didn't budge.

"We're trapped!"I stated,panicking.

"I have an idea!"Grover replied.

He then started to take off his pants.
