We found a place to stay the night, the sun was setting and we where gonna take turns keeping a look out.

Once dark hit they played everyone who had died.

It showed, district 5's male, Seeder, 10's female , both of 9, Cecilia, Woof, Brutus and the male morphling. 9 people in the first day.

Katniss was keeping first lookout. I laid next to Finnick, and I fell asleep almost instantly.

I slept peacefully until Katniss started screaming "The fog! It burns!" I jumped up and started coughing because of the fog. It was poisonous. I got up grabbing everything I could and we all ran, Mags was on Finnick's back. We ran, I tripped, it slowed me down and the fog got some of my calf before I started running again.

Peeta screamed, he was unable to walk, because his legs where burnt.
We all ran over to him, most of us where burnt, or whatever you wanna call it, by the fog. Because we where far enough from the fog, we where discussing what to do with Peeta, Mags got off Finnick's back, kissing his cheek, she turned walking towards the fog.

"Mags! Mags what are you doing!" Finnick yelled but Mags was already in the fog and a canon went off. Mags was dead. She sacrificed herself for us, so we could run faster.

Finnick stood there "Finnick come on!" I yelled grabbing his hand. Finnick picked Peeta up and we started running again, and once the fog cleared. We all just sorta collapsed. Whimpering in pain.

"Come on-" I breathed out "W-we should find the others," I said, trying to stand up, I winced, but managed to get onto my feet.

Finnick groaned as he stood up, stumbling over his own feet. I stepped a few feet over to him, grabbing his arm.

Katniss and Peeta helped each other up, whimpering. I looked up, one of the sponsor gifts on a parachute was flying down, Peeta caught it.

"Amora," Peeta said, handing me the gift, I opened it.

"It's some type of medicine," I said, I read the note "It's from Aiden,"

"What does it say?" Finnick asked.

"It's uh it says a gift from the Donna family," I said, quietly "Gabe's family, they make most of district 3'a medicine,"

I put some of the medicine onto my burns, I sighed in relief, I helped Finnick put some on himself and I handed the jar too Peeta.

The burns still burned, I had no clue what the medicine was met to do. But we kept walking and soon hit water.

I stepped in wincing, before I looked behind me at the others and said "Get in it helps," we all got in the water, covering ourselves with it.

I smiled and filled my water bottle up, the water was clean enough to drink. All of us, groaned, from the waters touch.

Suddenly we all heard something jump, we stopped looking around.

"Mutts-" I mumbled to myself "Run!"

It was two late, one lunged at me, it was a monkey mutt. I pushed it off of me, throwing a knife at one. There claws came out like switchblades. One went towards Peeta, when he wasn't paying attention, we all saw some jump infront of him, and almost instantly a canon went off. It was the female morphling, for district 6.

I threw a knife at it. We started trying to kill them, so we could keep moving.

And we did so, we all had minor scratches on us. But we kept going. We climbed out of the water, I sighed and we started walking. Peeta and Katniss where a distance behind having a conversation in privacy. I walked beside Finnick, who was still grieving over Mags.

"Shes in a better place now Finnick," I whispered to him, he just nodded. I sighed gently, as we arrived by the cornucopia,"

"We can sleep here," Peeta said, "Whos on lookout?"

Finnick stepped forward "I can," he said, we laid on the ground, and Finnick sat down, I couldn't sleep.

Peeta and Katniss where out after a few minutes. I sighed, moving to my side.

"Can't sleep?" Finnick asked.

I nodded "No- no I can't," I said as I stood up. "This is insane, these games..."

He sighed "I know, the capitol is horrible to us, but one day hopefully it'll be all over sometime,"

I didn't sleep at all that night, I was talking with Peeta.

The next morning, we where all up. We just hoped the others found us.

Finnick sighed "District 5's girl is gone," he said "I don't know how, but I'd thought you'd like to know,"

I nodded "Alright," I said, I looked around. "Look there they are," I stood up pointing to the woods where Johanna, Emmy and Beetee where walking out, we gathered all of our stuff rushing over to them. Emmy and Johanna where covered in blood, head to toe and Beetee had some bad wounds on himself.

"Thank goodness we found you!" Emmy said, sighing in relief "There was this insane blood rain, it stopped and we thought you'd be here,"

I smiled at her "Whos all left?" Johanna asked.

"Uh Cashmere, Gloss, Enboria, Blight, Emmy's fellow tribute, Chaff and us," I said.

"Speaking of Gloss," Beetee said, I turned around and saw Gloss, he was trying to get more supplies.

I sighed "I got this one," I said quietly and started walking the middle where the cornucopia was, silently.

I stabbed him in the stomach, he gasped silently, falling backwards into the water. The canon went off. I sighed and went back to the others.

"We need to kill Cashmere, before she kills us," Johanna said.

"First let's get you guys washed off," Katniss suggested, and took Johanna and Emmy to the water.

Cashmere was in the distance, "Johanna watch out!" Finnick yelled, she turned around, hitting Cashmere in the chest with a axe, killing her.

After cleaning Emmy and Johanna up, they walked back over.

"We figured it out," Katniss said "The arena is a clock, every hour something happens, like the fog, then the monkeys, and blood rain,"

I nodded "Okay, and every night the lighting goes off by the tree" I said. "Sorry- haven't slept much recently,"

Katniss nodded "Maybe midnight?" She asked.

Finnick nodded "Had to be around that time yeah-" he was stopped suddenly, when the cornucopia started spinning. Beetee grabbed onto something, he didn't fall off I climbed on top of the cornucopia, trying to hold on, I helped Others up there as well, but most of us slid off besides Emmy. Dodging stuff and barely hanging on, I screamed as my hand slipped.

Finnick grabbed onto my hand, holding onto me. I could here Katniss and Peeta struggling. I was slipping from Finnick's grip.

"Let me go!" I yelled "Youll have another hand!"

He shook his head "No! I'm not letting go!" He shouted "We've made it this far,"

"I'm sorry!" I told him, I let go of his hand.
