Goodbye friend

After tending to Luces's bite I sighed, leaning against a nearby tree. Luces still whimpering, I glanced into the air I saw one of the sponsors parachutes coming from the air. I caught it and Gabe looked at me "What is that?" He asked.

"Something from a sponsor," I replied, I opened it, it was some type of cream, I've seen used in hospitals. The note said.

Use carefully and Petra has something ~ A

I sighed "What could Petra be keeping?" I thought to myself, I glanced at Petra "It's from Aiden, I think it's something to help Luces's bite," I said kneeling next to Luces, unwrapping his wound, causing him to wince. I took some of the cream and rubbed it on his would, wrapping it back up. I put the cream into my book bag "we need to get moving," I said putting my bag on my back "We need water, and food,"

They all agreed and we started walking, our weapons out, a canon went off, didn't know who it was until the display. District 6's make, he scored lowest, he beat female 5 though. There was 7 of us left.

Suddenly i heard Luces gasp, making me turn towards him, a knife was in his abdomen. Gabriel through a spear and it hit district 2's female tribute in the chest. Luces collapsed, bleeding out.

"No- no don't leave us!" I yelled, kneeling next to him "We can save you! I promise," he shook his head "I made it this far, 6th place" he chuckled softly.

I frowned "Luces... please,"

He smiled at me "I wanna be with her anyway, my mother, tiara," he said, Tiara was his district partner. "Thank you for the help.." he mumbled, before taking a shuddering breath, the canon going off. I sobbed shutting his eyes and laying him down.

"You will be remembered," I whispered, kissing his forehead. I stood up and wiped my eyes. Both Petra and Gabe where tearing up, but we kept walking, the three of us. Petra walked behind us rummaging through her bag. After my note from Aiden, warning me about Petra, I was cautious. I heard her chewing on something.

"Petra what are you eating!?" I asked turning, but I paused "No Petra thats nightlock!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry, I'm done," she said before she collapsed and the canon went off. I couldn't even feel the pain. She killed herself, these games are wicked. There was four of us left. Deven, Gabe and I and Petra's fellow tribute partner. We kept walking, just Gabe and I now.

Before a idea came into my head "Gabe- one of us will have to die, but I have a idea," I said, pulling him into a spot, checking for any cameras. "I don't want you to die," I said

He nodded "Same here, I don't wanna loose you," I looked at our wrists.

After speaking to him we separated. I saw Deven kill 10 and he saw me. I started running towards the cornucopia. I grabbed some more knives to try and throw at him, but a canon went off, meaning Gabe died. I couldn't try. Deven approached me.

"Just me and you sweetheart," he grinned "Ready to die?" He asked.

I looked at him and threw a knife at him, more than one, he couldn't stop them all and he soon died from bleeding out.

I won. I won the 64th hunger games.

"Congratulations Amora Clyde! You are the Victor of the 66th annual hunger games!"

I sighed in relief, wiping my face as they took me back to the capitol.

I was the youngest ever victor in history of these games. Also the quickest ever hunger games, lasting two days. 23 people dead in two days.

I arrived back and Aiden, Collier and Rosalyn where waiting for me. I ran towards them and they all hugged me.

"Do any of you know what happened to Gabriel?" I asked.

They all shook her heads "Didn't happen on camera, no one knows," Aiden said to me "I'm sorry darling,"

"Can I go home, to my family, and Nick?" I asked.

Aiden nodded "Of
Soon they'll make you visit every district, give a small speech, and anything extra you wanna say, then you can go home,"

Two days later

I was starting to visit districts, but I'm only telling you about the important ones. I soon reached Luces's district, it had been about a week since the game and I had visited 1, 2, and 4 so far.

I walked up to the podium "Hello people of district 5, I'm Amora Clyde, this years victor" I said "I'm am here to apologize for the loses of your loved ones, I looked up the family of Tiara and Lucas where standing in-front of a screen of them "I didn't know Tiara at all, but from what Luces told me, she seemed very caring," I said to Tiara's family, turning to Luces's "I did know Luces though, he was a good friend to me, and he was brave, was trustworthy since the start,"

The next important district was 10, Petra's. I spoke the same thing about the apologizing for the loses of loved ones. After that I needed to say more.

"I didn't know Gavine, but he made it far, I saw him in training once, he was good with arrowing just like Petra, but I did know Petra, she wasn't just my ally, she was my friend, I wish she could if made it out of the games alive, instead of me, she will always be with me, I know that," I said, that was finishing the ones I wanted to share.

3 weeks after the game I got to head home finally. Callie was so delighted to see me.

"Amorie!" She shouted happily, running to hug me "You did it!" I smiled at her and hugged her and then hugged my mother. I was happy to be reunited with my family. But there was one thing I needed to do.

I approached Gabe's house and I knocked on the door. His mother answered "Amora.. hey darling come in," she said holding the door opened.

"Is Will here?" I asked, she nodded.

"In his room, hasn't left since... well you know," she mumbled, I nodded going to Will's room, knocking then opening the door.

"Amora, what are you doing here?" He asked, looking at me. His eyes where bloodshot red. I sighed.

"I came here to apologize, I'm sorry about Gabe... I miss him too,"

Okay done with the sixth chapter!! I'm so excited, this is that last chapter of this section of the story. Now onto catching fire, there will be a new cast with it, at least with the new characters, and maybe a few from the first ones that weren't included as much. Ex: landen and will. Anywhoooo RIP to the amazing Gabe, Petra and Luces. I will miss them in this story always. Amora's face claim will change to Shailene now as she will be 17! Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for more
