The next few days were calm, I didn't take any more missions with Katniss. But I watched the broadcasts with her, every time Peeta got more drained like they were taking the life out of him. We were showing his district 12, and what remains of it to try and snap him out of it.

"Oh my god..." Katniss whispered, "He looks horrible..."

I sighed "Yeah..." I whispered back.

"Katniss! They're planning on attacking!" Peeta screamed before the broadcast ended.

Katniss turned to Coin "Evacuate to the underground bunker!" Coin yelled pushing a button. Some alarms started going, and we all started rushing, remaining calm as we went to the underground bunker. I lost Katniss in the crowd of people.

I got to the bunker, I went inside. "Callie! Callie are you here?" I shouted, among all the people.

"Amora!" She yelled running up to me. I hugged her tightly. She smiled "Thank goodness your okay!"

I smiled and nodded "Is mom here?" I asked.

"Yeah, she's over by Nick and And the Donna family," she said.

"And Finnick? Landen?" I asked quickly.

She nodded "They're all safe, they're all here,"

I sighed in relief "Good," I smiled and let go of her "I need to talk to Gabe,"

She nodded and I walked over to Gabe, I sat next to him. "Hello Amora," he said calmly.

I smiled "Hey Gabe," I beamed happily, "Haven't talked much, mostly my fault,"

He shrugged "You've been busy, I've been busy, it's alright Amora," he said "But god have you grown-up... it's crazy, I'm amazed by how much you've matured,"

I nodded slowly "Yeah I guess so," I mumbled, looking up at him.

"How old are you now 23?" He asked.

I nodded "Yeah I'm 23, almost 24 though, few weeks," I answered his question. He nodded "And you?"

"27," he said blankly "I can drink now," he said chuckling.

I rolled my eyes "You sound like Haymitch," I said chuckling.

"Who sounds like me?" I hear a voice behind me say.

I turned around, and Haymitch Abernathy stood there, he was a victor from District 12 and a respected friend of mine.

I shook my head "Gabriel, with all the drinking stuff," I said grinning, he rolled his eyes.

"That's not all I do," he argued. I let out a chuckle.

"Yeah... yeah okay Haymitch whatever you say," I grinned again, and he sat next to Gabe, taking a drink of his whisky. "My point is proven,"

Gabriel smirked at me "Oh my the way Amora, you're an ass," Haymitch said.

I rolled my eyes and smirked "I know I am," I said, getting up and trailing off.

I sat near the Everdeen family, Callie was talking quietly with Prim, and I was sitting next to Katniss.

"You know Amora, before the quarter quarrel Haymitch warned me about you," Katniss said, dozing off into a flashback.

"She won the games at 13," Haymitch said, letting out a big sigh.

"Who did?" Katniss asked, quite curious.

"Amora Clyde, 6 kills In the bloodbath," Haymitch replied.

"Is she brutal?" Katniss asked, full of curiosity and questions.

"Yes Katniss, she is" Haymitch replied "Neither of you wanna make her your enemy,"

Peeta looked up "What do the people think of her?"

"The capitol adores her, who couldn't, she's kind and a genuinely good person, pity of what she's lost," Haymitch said.

"What do you mean lost?" Peeta asked.

"She lost her father, and then her fellow district tribute, he grew to be her friend, he was a great person, remember Wilson Donna?" Katniss and Peeta both nodded "Well that is his brother, anyways Amora is adored and knows plenty of the victors, as well as me, we've all became friends over the years of our mentoring, well most of us,"

"Weakness?" Katniss asked.

"Her tribute Beetee, he volunteered for her mentor Aiden Monhann, cause Aiden has some shitty injuries on his leg,"

I looked at her "Really?" I asked.

Katniss nodded "Saying stuff like we hand a disadvantage, cause most of you victors had known each other for years, but Peeta and I didn't,"

I nodded, understanding the thought process "He's not wrong, not all of us were friends but we all knew each other,"

After a conversation with Katniss, I went to go find Aiden, I sat next to him, he was putting a brace on his knee.

"Will i be a monster after this war?" I asked suddenly, it's a question that had been flowing in my brain since I came to district 13.

"The question is Amora," he said gently "Do monsters make war? Or does war make monsters?"

I paused hearing his words "I- I don't know..." I mumbled.

Aiden nodded and kisses my forehead. Aiden had grown to be the father I never had. I looked up to him, he took care of Callie and my mom when I was gone. I couldn't appreciate him more and everything he had done for me these past four years. I didn't know much about Aiden's family, like stated earlier, he always avoids the topic of his family.

I never thought to ask either, I wish I did.

Hii I'm done with this chapter and I wanted you to know Amora is not gonna be as involved with everything that Katniss is involved in. 1 because she's not the mockingjay, 2 because I need to show you her relationship with some characters that have barely/not at all been included in this story. Ex: Madalyn, Gabriel, Callie, Nick and landen. And yes ik gabe was in the first part but still. And lastly I need to build her connection with Finnick! I hope you enjoyed this story. I love you all.
