      My life is so boring. It's not that I don't like living where I live and working where I work, but it seems like nothing ever happens to me. I'm sorry evidently I'm just in full on groan mode. It's just... haven't you ever wished for a different life outside of the same old daily grind of things? I certainly have.

      I'm pretty sure when the Sunday School teacher gave all of us twenty-something's these journals this isn't quiet what she had in mind. She called it a "prayer journal" to help work out our problems. I don't even have any problems to work out.

      I just remembered something else she said, we are supposed to do an intro about ourselves on the first page. "To think about who we really are inside", was how she put it.

        I didn't get off to the best start ever... I can now though.

        Hiya there...journal? I'm Laya Phillips. I'm pretty average to be honest. Average height, average brown hair, average brown eyes. I've been a Christian since my sophomore year of high school. I like lots of things, writing music probably being my favorite hobby. As well as listening to music.

     Oh and I collect autographs of famous people that I admire. That's a lot of fun. So far I have several of the Dukes of Hazard cast, the lady who played Ellie May Clampett on the Beverly Hillbillies, and several others from those old shows like that. Then I also have some from music people too. I have Moriah Peters, Shane Harper, Jamie Grace, the girls from 1Girl Nation, and the band of Anthem Lights (both before and after Kyle left).

      I'm not an over the top fan girl, but I do call myself one. I like keeping up with stuff people do, but not in a creepy way. How do I manage to sound so weird just on paper? Oh well I'm going to stop while I'm ahead.

I sat down the notebook on the table in the coffee shop where I had been sitting and writing, then finished off my coffee. I stood to leave but just as I did, I felt a pain in the back of my head and everything went black.
