**FLASHBACK- WHEN ERIC LEFT LEAH'S HOUSE**

THIRD PERSON'S POV

As Eric drove back to his home, he felt something strange in Leah's house. There was this unusual vibe present there. But he disregarded it, thinking it was just the spur of the moment.

He reached home, embraced by his mother. They had their dinner, enjoying themselves, unbeknownst to Eric about what Leah was doing at the same time. As Eric stood up to leave, his mother stopped him.

She revealed that they would be moving away to Chicago, regarding her job promotion. Eric was upset, but he held a smile for his mother and nodded. He didn't want to leave his hometown, his friends or anything. But he knew, this was important as aught.

The moment he entered his room, he dialed his phone and waited for Leah to pick up.

But she didn't pick up.

He tried again, yet, she didn't pick up the call. He got worried quickly, fetched his car keys and left to check on Leah. Fortunately, his mother was asleep.

He got into his car, and sped up in front of Leah's house. Assuming that Leah was awake, he rang the doorbell. It didn't open. He rang the doorbell a few times, but she didn't show up.

Slowly, Eric turned the doorknob to check if it was locked. To his luck, it wasn't! He entered into the hall, and was welcomed with the strong stench of blood.

There were huge blood trails all the way from a room he hadn't noticed before. He followed it, and stood before the door. He thought about it- whether to turn back and search for Leah, or to open the door and check inside.

He decided on the latter. He opened the door, and immediately gagged. Eric hastily covered his eyes, and turned around. He gradually uncovered his eyes, and looked back again.

He was met with the corpse of his two dear friends- all bloody and torn to flesh.

Looking at them, he had tears falling out of his eyes. He wiped it with the handkerchief he had in his hand, to cover the foul smell. He looked around the bloody room, and found Leah's knife- again, all bloodied and pieces of flesh stuck within it.

He threw it across the room. Hearing the clash, Gabriel trembled a little. Eric saw the movement, and ran towards him. He took Gabriel in his hands and pulled him towards his lap, and shook him slightly. Eric asked him, if he was awake and if he saw who did this.

Gabriel, in complete vagueness, coughed out blood and tried to sit up. He failed to do so, and laid back down in Eric's lap. He looked sideways to find Esther's lifeless body. He turned his head, and spoke to Eric" I-it's L-Leah... she d-did this to u-us..."

Gabriel went limb in his hands. Eric slowly laid him down on the floor, and left the room.

Not before he decided on what to do.

He went to the nearest police station, and the police filed a case. Leah was hiding at a place, but she thought no one was watching her.

How wrong.

A week later, she was caught by the police after she was seen on the streets. When she was sent to the police station, she admitted in doing the crime.

Brought to the court, she was sentenced to death penalty after being convicted of murder. She was the last person on the death row.
