As I left the taxi, I had an eerie feeling of someone watching me. I was quick to ignore it, and moved on. As I opened the door, the feeling became even stronger. 

I looked around the room, but saw nothing. I decided it was best to ignore it, thinking it was just my paranoia.

I took my seat and checked over the files of the patients. Since this hospital was located in a secluded area, there were very few patients and just one or two doctors in here. 

Thankfully, it's just one patient tonight. She had got injured on the way back from work. I went over to her bed to check on her.

"Hello Ms. Finley, how are you feeling now?" She looked up with her doe eyes, smiled and said, "Hi Ms. Black. I'm doing well, just a bit tired. How about you?"

"I'm doing good, thank you. I wanted to inform you that you might be able to leave by tomorrow. Dr. Bernard had told me to inform you on the way here. Just let me know if you have any difficulties, alright?"

She frowned. "But Ms. Black, the doctor hadn't come today. I noticed that when I was the only one here from the morning. No one was there to check up on me whilst being here..."

That's strange. Dr. Bernard usually lets the patients leave only after checking up on them by himself.

Suddenly, I felt the paranoia come back. I looked around slowly across the room. As I moved my eyes to the door, I saw a movement.

It felt like someone just moved away from the door. I quickly walked over and slammed open the door to find...

...no one.

I shook my head, thinking it was just my mind playing games with me.

I went back to see Ms. Finley smirking and staring at me. I frowned, and asked "W-what is it, Miss?"

She was caught off guard and replied hastily "No, nothing."

'Ok, that's definitely not suspicious...'

"Ok then, I'll get back to work. Take some rest Miss" I gave her a small smile.

She smiled back, but I could tell it wasn't a real one. I shrugged my shoulders and went back to work.

MS.FINLEY'S POV

Leah-I mean- Lilith thinks she's safe. She's not.

I will make sure of it. WE will make sure of it.
