LEAH'S POV

Waking up, I stretch my arms up and sigh. I looked over at the time, which displayed 8:45 in the morning. I lazily got off the bed, and went to the restroom. 

I finished up all my morning routines, and made my way to the kitchen. I made myself some cereal and decided to relax- after all, it was a Saturday.

My job as a nurse has been going well. After everything that happened, this was a good cover up for anything about me- I've changed my name as well. I'm living somewhere far from the city. I must say, it's quite a deserted area. Life's been going quite well now.

*vibrate* *vibrate*

I heard my phone ringing somewhere. Looking over to see who's calling me, I quickly attended to the call. It was the chief doctor from the hospital.

"Good Morning Ms. Black. I suppose you're free today?"

'Didn't I tell this old man to just call me by my first name?' I thought.

"Good Morning Doctor Bernard. Yes, I am free today. Why do you ask doctor?"

"I have called to inform that you'll be doing today's night shift. Mrs. Coralline has an important event to attend to, so she has asked for you to cover her shift. Is it ok for you, Ms. Black?"

Mrs. Coralline was a really kind and caring woman. Her calm, joyful vibe made anyone's illness vanish within seconds. I'd be happy to help her, since she's helped me many times regarding the job in the past.

"Yes, I'll be glad to do Mrs. Coralline the favor. Is there anything else you need doctor?"

"No, that is all that's needed. Thank you, Ms. Black. The help is very much apprecia-"

"By the way, please call me by my first name. It's way too formal to call me by my surname, and I feel too old to be called that" I laughed slightly.

He chuckled. "I'm sorry. Alright then, I'll be off now. Have a good day, Lilith."

"You too, doctor. Bye"

I hung up, and decided to watch a little bit of T.V before getting ready for the shift. I hope nothing goes wrong tonight.

Little did I know about the events awaiting me tonight...
