New Friend
On Thursday Jimin took me shopping after school. He said that after school tomorrow I would have to hurry and meet him for my hair and makeup appointment. I know it's out my comfort zone but if Jimin wants me to attend, I'll go.
"Jimin this is the tenth dress. Do you know how hard these are to get on and off. It's not fun." My tone was starting to get angry. We've been here already for an hour and every dress I try on Jimin says it's either to much, or to little. I swear I'm going to meet his parents not the president.
"Jimin I promise this is the last one." I walked out the dressing room with a red dress on. It was a little to short and my breast were popping out.
"Even though it looks good on you, and I like." He said smirking.
"It's not appropriate to meet my dad." He said standing up. Easy for him to say. He's been sitting in the chair, saying no after no. These dresses are hard getting on and off and I'm tired of standing.
"Excuse me but do you have any pastel or soft pink evening dresses." Jimin asked the woman. She walked away snapping her fingers.
"Why pink?" I asked.
"When Hannah picked you out the pink dress you were dazzling in it. You've never been told pink is your color." He said picking at the dress I was wearing.
"I have the perfect one!" The woman came back yelling. She pulled me back into the dressing room and helped me into the dress. Before I could look myself in the mirror she pulled me out to show Jimin. Once I walked out Jimin's mouth dropped.
"This dress just came in yesterday. It's by a top designer and the only one in the country." The woman said. Jimin walked over grabbing my hand. He started looking me up and down which made me blush. He then turned me around to face the mirror. I almost cried when I saw the beautiful dress on me.
Usually I dislike these kind of dresses but when I saw myself in it, it was to much. It wasn't over the top but it wasn't boring either. Everything about the dress is perfect. I started twirling around in the dress as my smile got bigger and bigger. I could see in the reflection Jimin smiling.
"Please tell me you love it as much as I do." Jimin said.
"It's so beautiful. I love it." I reached behind hugging Jimin.
"Okay and what about some simple pink heels." Jimin said to the woman. She ran off coming back with a pair of pink heels. I took off the other heels and placed the other pair on. Unlike the ones before they were extremely comfortable.
"This is the one! It's perfect!" Jimin said to the woman. She lead me back to the dressing room to change back into my school uniform. Once the dress was off she took it and the pair of shoes.
"Can you go back to my car and get my wallet please? I seem to have left it behind." Jimin asked me. I nodded and started walking outside to his car. I checked the front seat but it was nowhere to be seen. Then I started checking around the whole car.
"Oh my god!" I panicked. I started opening the the glove compartment. Nothing.
"All ready." Jimin said walking to the car with two bags in his hand.
"Ready? How did you pay for that? I thought you left your wallet in the car?" I asked in confusion. He just smiled brightly putting the bags in the car.
"I'm not going to hide anything from you. So I sent you to the car therefore you couldn't see how much the dress and shoes were. If you seen the price tag you would have a stroke." He said opening his side of the car door.
"How much Jimin?" I asked.
"It's not important. What is important is that I will have the most beautiful girl by my side at the biggest party in years. I'm so lucky." He said. I open my door and jumped in.
"But I feel like a bum if I let you buy expensive things for me." I said.
"I buy you fancy things. You stay by my side. I think in America they call me a Sugar Daddy." Jimin said winking at me.
"But you know I'm not after your money. I could care less if you were dirt poor like me. I just like you." I felt my cheeks blushing.
"I know you're not. That's what I like about you. But it's nice to give a little to the girl in my life." He replied. I just smiled as he drove me back to my place.
Later that night I showered and went straight to bed. Even though my favorite Kdrama was airing that night I was making sure I got enough sleep for tomorrow.
The next morning came to quick as I heard Jimin in my house. I walked downstairs to see the shock of my life.
"Hi baby."
"Mom?" I question. At the stove cooking was Jimin. My mom was drinking coffee watching the young boy cook pancakes.
"Yeah I came home around four this morning. I didn't want to wake you up so I just stayed up. About twenty minutes ago this young man was knocking on the door looking for you." My mom said smiling at me. I had no words. I just stood there like a idiot until Jimin placed in front of me three perfectly looking pancakes. He did the same for my mom. He grabbed the syrup pouring some over mine and my mothers. Then he looked up at me smiling.
"This boy is an amazing cook." My mom praised Jimin as she started eating her pancakes. Oh course he is. I taught him. I sarcastically thought.
"Well I was taught by yours truly." Jimin said pointing at me. My mom just smiled up at me with a mouth full of food.
"Eat up. We've got school in a few. And I already explained everything to your mom about tonight. She said everything was fine, only if I bring you home by eleven." Jimin said. I sat down eating every last bite of the pancakes. I couldn't help but smile after finishing. Mostly because Jimin made them.
Once we left my mom Jimin drove us to school. In my first period Taehyung sat beside me doing weird things. At one point he stuck a pen through a note book and started twirling it around and around.
"Can you stop?" I asked.
"It's fun. You try." He said pushing it towards my way.
"No." I whispered pushing it back. The teacher threw a marker at us shutting us up fast. I looked back at Taehyung sticking my tongue out. He did the same making goggly eyes. I couldn't help but smile.
After class I walk to my locker finding Jhope standing beside it. He walked to the side as I opened it pulling out my books.
"Do you like root beer?" Jhope asked holding up a can of root beer.
"Yeah, it's a little sweet but it's okay." I said closing my locker.
"Here. I pressed cola but instead got this. I don't like it, so you drink it." He said handed me the soda can.
"Thanks." I placed the drink in my bag. As I walked to class he followed right behind me.
"Minji." Jimin said as I walked through the door. I sat down beside him and started getting my books out when I heard a noise. I looked up to see three girls pulling on a another girl's braids. I remembered it was the same girl who found my bracelet. I looked down to the small red bracelet. I looked back up as another girl started grabbing her drink. I stood up walking over.
"Minji. What are you doing?" Jimin said following behind me. I ignored him grabbing the girl's arm.
"You could use the calories in that drink skeleton. Don't waist it on her." I snapped. She pulled her arm from my gripped just walking away. Okay. That was simple. It's never like that in the movies. I thought.
"Are you alright?" I asked her. She looked up at me fixing her glasses.
"I'm fine. Th-thank you." She nervously said. I gave her a smile back as the teacher walked into the classroom. I turned around to see Jimin smiling at me. We walked back to our seats.
When it came to lunch I sat with Jimin, Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jhope. Sometimes it's hard keeping up with conversations with them since I'm the only girl. But then I saw the girl with the braids and glasses trying to find a empty seat. I grabbed my bag sitting in the seat beside me placing it on the floor. I then ran over to her.
"Come and sit with us. I don't think you'll find a empty seat in this pig sty." I laughed. Before she could say anything I was pulling her sitting her beside me. Everyone looked at me confused as they saw her sitting beside me.
"Guys this is, um what's your name?" I said looking over at her.
"Micha. Kim Mi Cha." She said.
"That's a pretty name." Namjoon said. I looked at her to see her blushing. Aw. She must like Namjoon.
After that we all started talking. Even Micha spoke a few words and laughed at one of Namjoon's joke. When we got through I told Micha she could eat lunch with us everyday if she wanted to. She smiled saying she would love to. I was happy she was happy, but also happy that I wasn't the only girl anymore.
Today was good. I made a new friend.

So the next chapter and this one was going to be put together but once I realized I was over 4000 words and it was almost 36 pages long I decided to cut some of it. But I hope this chapter was good.
Thank you for reading.
