For those who don't know I'm on the chubbier side, So it's hard for me to find characters in media I like that I can relate to. I've been noticing that characters who are overweight are usually either nerds, perverts, bad people or the butt of the joke in many forms of media that I indulge in. I found one exception to this rule, Fatgum from mha/bnha.
I get so mad when people act like they like Fatgum but only like his skinny form, He's more than that. He's a wholesome man who canonically likes being in his fat form more than his skinny form. It's pretty much stated he is most of the time in his fat form but no one seems to understand that, just because he's "hot" when he's in his skinny form doesn't mean you can ignore his adorable fat form.
If anything Fatgum is my body positivity character and I like him a lot, He gives me a big boost of confidence.
