(Ashlynn is about 12 months now. Also it's her POV! Yay!)

[Ashlynn's POV]
I stand up in my crib, which is in my parents room. Daddy reads a comic. Mommy isn't in here. I'm hungry and I can't get his attention. How do I get his attention?

Oh! I know! I'll just say his name!

"Da!" I yell. He doesn't move. "Daaaaa-da!" I yell again. He's not looking at me. "Da-Daaaaaaaa!" I yell. Then he puts his comic book down and comes to me. "What did you say?" He asks me.

"Da-da!" I clap my hands. "Yeah! You said your first word! Good job, kiddo!" He kisses my forehead and sets me back down. "Da-da!" I whine. "What?" He asks. "Are you hungry?" He asks. I nod.

"Alright. But first let me tell mommy what you just did!" He smiles and walks out of the room. A few minutes later, mommy walks into the room. "Ma-ma!" I giggle.

"That's right! Oh my gosh, your growing up so fast!" She kisses me. "Now let's go feed you." Mama says. "Ya!" I cheer.
