"Em come on!!" A boy whispered shaking her.
"Huh Harry whats going on?"
"We're leaving"
"Ok ok" she clambered out of bed and out into the flying car. Fred And George smiled at her as she sat Inbetween them in the back.
"Hey" they said in unison.
"Hey" she replied. After a long car ride of the twins staring at her they finally arrived at the burrow. Emily knew all about the burrow and the Weasleys. Harry had told her everything that had happened his first year. Now it was her first year. Her letter had already arrived whilst Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia And Dudley were out.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!" Mrs Weasley shouted as they entered. "NO NOTE!!"
"They had bars on their window mum!"
"YOU BEST HOPE I DONT PUT BARS ON YOUR WINDOW RONALD WEASLEY!" Harry And Emily stood there awkwardly. Emily's ginger hair sweeping over her face. Her emerald eyes glowed. Hagrid had said she was the spitting image of her mother.
"But of course I don't blame you Harry dear" she continued to rant at the boys until she seemed to notice Emily standing there. "Hello dearie, you must be Emily. I'm Mrs Weasley"
"It's a pleasure to meet you"
"So well mannered" she pointed out. The Weasley children looked at their mother offended. "Now sit down for breakfast. Then we'll head to diagon alley. Emily you and Ginny can both get your wands together!" Emily smiled. She was happy she'd know someone in her year before she started.
  "Mummy have you seen my jumper??" A ginger haired girl asked coming down stairs. Her eyes were big and brown. She looked almost identical to Emily. Except for the fact they had different colour eyes, and she was freckled where as Emily wasn't.
"It's on the banister Ginny dear" Mrs Weasley replied. When Ginny spotted Harry she froze. Her eyes were wide.
"Hello" he smiled at her. She ran off upstairs. Fred, George,Ron and Emily giggled.  Harry looked confused.
"Don't mind Ginny. She's been talking about you all summer. It's getting annoying actually" Fred and George nodded. Harry still looked confused. Meanwhile Emily was smiling giggling.
"What's got you so happy?" Fred asked her.
"Do you know why Ginny just ran upstairs?" George asked.
"Yes" They all stared at her pleading for an answer. "Nope. I'd be breaking the Girl Code" they all rolled their eyes. After a while they flooed to Diagon Alley. Emily along with the other Weasleys ended up in the right place. Soon enough Harry turned up. They took Emily to Gringotts to get her money. After Mrs Weasley went to do some food shopping whilst Emily and Ginny went to get their wands.
"Miss Weasley welcome and .. Miss Potter" An old man said. Immediately Emily recognised him as Garick Ollivander. "Now Miss Weasley, try this" he handed her a wand. She took it. "Redwood. Dragon heartstring core. 11 inches bendy"
She waved it and a glass exploded on the other side of the room.
"Sorry" She said placing the wand on the table.
"It's quite alright Miss Weasley. Try this Yew wood dragon heartstring core 11 inches" she flicked her wrist and the tip of the wand glowed. She smiled.
"Thanks" she said as he handed her the wand.
"Now Miss Potter Hmm try this Elm Wood Unicorn hair core and 11 inches" she flicked her wrist causing a vase to explode.
"Sorry" she replied placing her wand on the table.
"Don't worry. Hmm I wonder.. Try this... Elder wood Phoenix feather core and 10 and 1/2 inches" this time when she flicked her wrist the tip of the wand glowed. She smiled. "How peculiar"
"How So?" Emily asked.
"The Phoenix who provided the feather for your wand also provided the feather for your brothers and the man who killed your parents" Emily gasped. As did Ginny. They paid for their wands, thanked him and left.
They stood in Flourish and Blots watching Harry have his photo taken by the media. Emily smiled at her brother.
"Umm I have to get back to my sister.." Harry said to Lockhart as he tried to get away.
"Wait a sister! Get her up here!" Lockhart smiled. Harry beckoned Emily up. She came up and her brother placed his arm around her smiling. After they'd finished they headed down and met up with Ron, Hermione and Ginny.
"Bet you liked that didn't you Potter?" A blonde haired boy came up to them smirking "famous Harry Potter can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page"
"Shutup Malfoy" Harry growled. So that's who that was. Draco Malfoy. Incredibly mean and rude but incredibly cute. He looked at Emily.
"Leave him alone!" Ginny growled her eyes narrowing.
"Look Potter you've got yourself a girlfriend" he smirked. Once again his eyes were drawn to Emily. "Now let me guess Emily Potter" she nodded. He smiled at her. "Now let's see... Hmmm You seem like a decent human and I'll offer you the option of becoming my friend"
"She doesn't" Harry said pulling his sister away from Draco. Draco looked slightly hurt as he did and Emily did too. Then Lucius came over and insulted everyone.
They bought the rest of their school supplies and then headed back to the burrow.
Ginny and Emily were sat in their room they shared, just chatting.
"So you have a crush on my brother?" Emily smiled. Ginny blushed.
"Is it that obvious?" She asked.
"Not to boys. But I could easily tell" the two girls laughed into the night.
"Anyway Malfoy seemed to want to be your friend..."
"Probably because his dad told him to" Ginny nodded.
"Yeah probably"
